My mother passed away in May and we have about 15 boxes of Apokyn left. It was so expensive and we are still making payments on it. Does anyone know of way to pass on the left over medicine and possibly recoup some of the money? ## Hi Jennifer, Sorry to hear about your mother's passing. Round white pill with APO with a cut line and 500 under it only on one side...what is it? ## I have searched around and so far the closest pill which I have found to resemble your description is: " Each white, round, flat-faced with bevelled edge, scored, compressed tablet, identified 'APO' over '500', contains acetaminophen 500 mg " [1] So my best guess at this point is that it is called Apo-acetaminophen from Canada, containing, of course, Acetaminophen 500 mg as stated above. What to do when a 60 year old male takes an APO 020 (20mg) not prescribed to him? He has been taking 2-3 pills at least once a day for 3-4 days. His symptoms are dry cough, fever, earaches, fatigue, vomiting, black stuff and leg cramps. ## Call poison control or his doctor ASAP. APO 020 Omeprazole is not one of those common "recreational" drugs so he should not get in trouble for it, and they can tell you the appropriate course of treatment. As far as treating GERD (I assume that's what he is taking it for??), he may also wish to consider Apple Cider Vinegar supplementation in the future as long as his doctor says it's okay. My mom was able to get herself off the Omeprazole permanently by incorporating ACV into her diet. Hope this helps and best wishes!

I just need to identify what pill this is. ## A white oval tablet with A10 on one side and APO on the other side is most likely Atorvastatin Calcium 10mg (NDC 60429-323). It is a generic for Lipitor and is part of the "statin" drugs for lowering cholesterol. Below is an image: Now, I said "most likely", because there is another drug with a different NDC code which is coming up as having the same imprint codes. That tablet is Alendronic Acid 10mg (NDC 60505-2593), which is an osteoporosis drug. Sorry but I don't have a picture for this one. The way you could tell WHICH one it is would be to measure the tablet. If it is 9mm wide then it's the first one. If it's a bit smaller at 6mm then it's the second one. I hope this info helps! You can follow either of ...
I have been taking Sotalol Teva for over 15 years and picked up a new prescription at Wal-Mart and received a different brand (Apotex). I called and the pharmacist said they were the same.
