My daughter is suffering from diabetics for the last five months and her serum fasting is 150 and serum PP is 165 at present with medicine. I have been told, I have esophogus nerve damage. I have been told there is no treatment for it beyond a speach therpist. But I have pain at the bottom of my esophogus, and have been given Ryzolt 100 mg. I still feel the spams, but they don't hurt so much, for about five hours. This medication does't last for 24 hrs. Is Lyrica beneficial for nerve pain? ## I just got diagnosed with torm muscles and severe nerve damage to scapula after 4 1/2 yrs of being a lab-rat, after a work related injury. The specialist put me on Lyrica only a few days ago. I not am not sure what to think of it yet as I feel like I am floating in mid-air and feel like I have a permanent huge hangover. It has been impossible for me to concentrate on anything, including conversations. Although I have more energy, I feel like I am forcing myself to stay awake. This is the worse feeling I have ever had, especially when my pain level has not decreased. I learn from reliable quarters that renerve and renerveplus tabs / capsules are banned in India. Is it true? Our local pharmacy refuses to supply this as the legal process to get the ban removed may take months, if at all. They instead suggest Biocobal plus tabs. Are these reliable and preferable? ## On the ban, I'm sorry, but since it is in India, I know nothing about that. Biocobal contains the active ingredients: 50mgs Calcium, 1mg Mecobalamin, 45mgs Nicotinamide, 3mgs Pyridoxone and 10mgs of Thiamine. This is a B complex vitamin supplement. In India it is commonly given to treat nerve pain, anemia and deficiencies. It does not contain as many nutrients as Renerve or Renerve Plus. Have you spoken to a doctor about what you should use? ## I dont think Renerve is banned in India......
