As a result, my sleep pattern has changed. I am sleeping between 0 and 3 hours per night. Has someone experienced the same withdrawal symptoms? ## Hello, Nadeige! How are you? Are you sleeping any better, yet? Yes, many woman going through perimenopause and menopause often have sleep issues due to their hormones, so it is natural that a sudden withdrawal of them would also cause it. The same can occur if someone takes a form of hormonal contraception and then suddenly stops. As your body readjusts, however, things should improve. ## Hi Verwon: Thank you for your answer. Yes, I am sleeping better, because I could not do without Angelique, the hot flushes and in...
I am seven weeks in the program and I haven't lost an ounce of weight. I take the medication exactly when I'm supposed to. Every Saturday about the same time. Some of the comments I have read indicate that weight loss begins much earlier in the program. What are others experiencing? What am I doing wrong? ## I'm starting week 3 and I don't see any weight loss yet either. I'm hoping the higher dosages will solve this. Keeping an eye on protein and taking a multiple Vitamin to replace what I'm not eating. ] Has your appetite changed? Is the injection pens being done right?
Does anyone have experience with Wegovy side effects (e.g. diarrhea), how long they last, etc? ## Diarrhea is listed by the FDA as a very common side effect of Wegovy, along with headache, dizziness, bloating, and heartburn. Ref: Medline Plus Wegovy Side effects typically hit their peak at around 4 to 6 weeks, after starting a medication at a steady dose, then taper off in severity. Has anyone else that's been taking this medication experienced side effects? ## I think the diarrhea is happening less. That may be because I eat almost nothing. I’m afraid if I eat regular meals I will poop and throw up. ## The diarrhea went away until I moved up to 1.7. Now it is severe. Will eating any carbs or sugar make the diarrhea worse? ## I am having most of the side effects we were warned...
Long term use of medicines with Titanium dioxide is very bad for health. Why haven't pharmaceuticals companies developed Titanium dioxide free formulations yet ? It's been banned in food since 2022 in Europe. Negative long term effects are : Nanoparticle Accumulation: Titanium dioxide nanoparticles can accumulate in the body over time, which may lead to adverse health effects. Immune System Toxicity: Prolonged exposure may also negatively impact the immune system, leading to increased vulnerability to infections and diseases. DNA Damage: There is evidence suggesting that these nanoparticles can cause genetic damage, which is a pathway to cancer and other serious health problems.
Updated in LercanidipineAfter taking this medication for three days, I did not experience any side effects except for intense headaches right after taking it. On the fourth day I woke up with extreme shortness of breath, feeling of heaviness in my chest, chills, and joint pain. I have never had this sort of reaction to an antibiotic before, or any sort of medicine for that matter, so I thought I might have the flu. I went to the doctor and tested negative for the flu and he said I may have been suffering from really bad allergies. I forgot to take both of the antibiotic pills that day and woke up the next morning feeling better. I then took two pills, one in the afternoon and one at night, and woke up the next day the same as the fourth day. Are these normal side effects for this antibiotic? Also, what about t...
I am exceedingly pill-sensitive. Nothing works for me like the old Dexedrine by Smth, Kline, Glaxoc. Is there any place in the world to obtain and fill a prescription for it? ## Hello, Wendy! How are you? It is still available in the U.S., but you may need your doctor to write a prescription as 'brand medically necessary' and to have a pharmacy order it in for you. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, mood swings and anorexia. Has someone told you that it isn't available? ## I was told the same - my pharmacist tried to order more as I was picking up my prescription last week 'suspended indefinitely' ... I'm also extremely 'pill senstive' - ...
I've never encountered generic lorazepam by ANI. I've had Watson (my favorite now defunct), Actavis, Leading (my least favorite), and what I've been taking for the past 5 years- Teva (which I just read is considered weak...hmmm). I must put in my new prescription tomorrow.....has anyone had experience with ANI? My choices are ANI and Leading. (Sigh) ## Hey Richard! Did you ever try the Ani pharm lorazepam? ## Not sure what you mean. ## Not being familiar with it kinda indicates I've never trued it, that's why I didn't understand your question. Have any others trued it? How does it compare to Teva or the old Watson (which worked best for me)? ## Sorry folks, my ipad hiccuped....that's "tried", not "trued" ## Right. You posted about this 7 month...
I have had two refills of Adderall 20 mg that was manufactured by Teva/barr (Teva) and it seems to have much less medication in each pill. Refills by another manufacturer work. This is ridiculous, and where do we report Teva and who can check each pill for amount for medication? I would gladly donate some of my worthless ones to the FDA? ## You'd have to report any complaints to the FDA, at 888-INFO-FDA. However, there may not actually be anything to report. They do allow generic medications to differ from the name brands, in the amount of the active ingredient, by up to plus or minus 20%. This is considered an acceptable therapeutic window. For most people, these differences don't cause any problems, but if someone is sensitive to medications, it means that one with a slightly ...
Has anyone had night sweats while on Mounjaro? I am taking 7.5 mg, I am beginning to think it is time to talk to my doctor. I am very happy on mounjaro, as I am a type 2 diabetic and it is keeping my A1c down to 5.9. ## Crazy because I had bad menopause symptoms sweating horribly then the minute I got put on Ozempic for diabetes 2 all those symptoms stopped. No more sweating. Maybe ask for Ozempic. If your going through menopause that is

Ok, this is messed up. I take 30mg of Temazepam at night. I live in Mississippi, but when I had the prescription filled I was in Tennessee. Therefore, my 5 refills are in Tennessee, and the pharmacist down here in Mississippi said they can't transfer controlled substances. They can transfer the Prozac, but not the Temazepam. I have one prescription of 15mg Temazepam here in Mississippi from months ago because my dosage was increased. If I get that filled and a few days or a week later, go back to Tennessee and get my other prescription for the 30mg Temazepams will I get in trouble? This is bull feces, because Walmart should be able to transfer prescriptions to adjacent states for people who travel some. Ridiculous. ## This is the standard directive from the FDA and DEA. Controlled s...
Been off Gabby for 5 weeks. Feeling pretty good except still have tightness in chest off and on. Anyone else have chest pain? Was on high dose for quite a while. Got off it too fast. ## Hello, Sandy! How are you? You should have this checked out by your doctor to be safe, there are many things that could cause chest pain and some of them are very dangerous, such as heart conditions. The typical withdrawal effects of Gabapentin are listed by the FDA as possibly including nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, rebound pain, depression, anxiety, seizures and diarrhea. There's a chance the chest pain is associated, but after 5 weeks, most symptoms should be gone. Are you any other medications? ## Just B P meds! Not really a pain more of an ache. Not bad and with all the other withdrawals it ...
I'm being taken off of Neurontin/Gabapentin after seven years. I'm now crying, anxious, and itching all over! I have tried antihistamines and cortisone creams but with no relief. ## yes this is normal I went through the same thing. I was on 3600 for eight years. I weaned off very slowly. I started weening off in 2008. I am now down to 400mg and go down about 100 a week. Its so awful ## These types of problems are normal from a sudden withdrawal of any medication that affects brain chemicals, which is exactly what Gabapentin does, since it was initially discovered as an anticonvulsant. Unfortunately, since you were on it for so long, it is probably going to take several weeks for these effects to wear off, though they should gradually improve and lessen in severity. As to the itc...
Looking for Losartan 25 mg: NO corn, wheat, or food dyes. Can anyone help? Thank you. ## I'd recommend working with your pharmacist to confirm whether they can order a corn / wheat / dye free version. There are numerous manufacturers of this drug, so even with a list of ones meeting your requirements, it is still dependent on the pharmacy being able to order from a specific manufacturer. That being said, one potential match might be the version from Pd-Rx pharm (NDC 72789-163), who lists their inactive ingredients as: - CROSCARMELLOSE SODIUM - HYPROMELLOSES - MAGNESIUM STEARATE - MANNITOL - MICROCRYSTALLINE CELLULOSE - POVIDONE - PROPYLENE GLYCOL - TALC - TITANIUM DIOXIDE Hope this helps! ## Thx! Appreciate the information. ## Probably more info than needed, but will add some just i...
Is a purple football shaped tablet with IFA on one side and a thick score line on the other a 1 mg Xanax? Is that the drug manufacturer? Please help, I am only used to seeing alprazolam tablets come in blue or white. ## From what I have seen this pill is supposed to be a 1 mg Alprazolam (the purple/bluish sort of speckled oblong pill with IFA one one side and a score on the other). They are manufactured in Mexico by a company called INVESTIGACION FARMACEUTICA, S.A. DE C.V. and go under the brand name FARMAPRAM. Here is a Spanish Information Page which describes the medication and provides more details about the manufacturer. Hope this helps! ## Based on my research, a purple oval tablet marked IFA is reported to be 1mg Farmapram (Xanax) from Mexico. “Farmapram is a brand of Alpra...
Dr put me on Diltiazm 24 hr er, . Heart rate was high & has be between 79 to 89 all the time. Sometimes I eat and it go to about 110 - 120 per min. I get up at night and go to bathroom and my heart rate gos fast. I also take Lisinopril-hctz blood pressure . will there be a problem with taking both at same time, an how long does it take for Diltiazem to work? ## It is normal for it to elevate after you eat and when you get up from resting, there's nothing unusual about that. They can both be taken at the same time, and are often prescribed together, to help lower high blood pressure as fast and as safely as possible. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination, and hypotension. I actually can't remember when my...
Would like to know where I can purchase Butesin Picrate with Metaphen onitment. ## I'm looking for it also. Did you have any luck? ## I have sent an email to Abbott Australasia Pty Ltd. Their name is on the bottom of the tube that I have almost finished. I hope to get a reply soon. Perhaps if you email them also we might get some results. ## I received a message back Sept 2010 from Abbott saying it was discontinued in 1999 and no replacement. ## would like to buy Butesin Picrate ## I have been searching for this for SEVERAL years, can't seem to find it anywhere. I still have a tube with such a small amount, it won't come out. A dear friend gave it to me in 1974, he worked the RR and gave me his last tube when my little girl burned her hand, it heals almost instantly. Believe...

This is a round white pill. On one side it says teva and on the other side it has a number that looks like 3027 but its kind of faded but it definitely starts with a 3 and ends with a 27 any idea what it is. i was told it is valium but i know it is not. maybe clonopin but not sure. ## If I remember correctly, the closest to this is TEVA 3927 on a pale blue pill, which contains 10mgs of Diazepam, the active ingredient in Valium. It is a Benzodiazepine that's commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. Learn more Valium details here. Is it possible just a very light blue? ## its a 10mg diazepam, which is valium. i have the same pills. they are either white or so light blue its easy to mistake for white. ## is there any pill that it could b bside valium cuz mine looks like it...
