I am bipolar 2 or so they say. I have been taking epiec 200 and rispadol. I have lost the will to live without the depression of course and i have become an angry horrible person that no one can be around. I have shakes in the head and tiredness that is so not me. I have started to reducing the meds and is on 50 now. I am feeling much better and the old me is returning. Why do people think epitec is such a wonder drug?

I was on Venlor 150mg and was fine. I had a type of nervous meltdown from taking on too much stress. Epitec was forced on me at 25mg. And within 2 days I felt disorientation, loss of time and date, dizzy and not myself at all. I started vomiting and asked to be discharged. I went back to 30mg of cymgen anti depressant and am starting small doses of venlor. Am 100% myself after 3 days after stopping Epitec. I agree with some people. Seek the root of the problem and do not ply people with pills. I lost all faith in Psychiatrists and only go to a Psychologist.

I dont think Epitec is great either. And weight gain 4 women is a massive depressing thought! All it stabilised in my mood is the compulsion to slap someone. The rest made me pretty ill and pretty moody! Different strokes for different folks.

I am currently on 25serdep and 125 epitec, thus far since ive been on epitec my vision is clear and some days are good one but I still experience bad day...I get muscle spasms and feel confused and zone out alot, let me not forget to mention that I am gaining weight...not fast and loud but I have picked up.i want to know if I am overdosing on anti depressant meds and should stop using the serdep as ive not had good days when I was on serdep alone

Good day.

Please advise if it will be wise to just drop all of the medication and just use the sleeping tables. My medication is:

Epitec 100mg in the morning
Epitec 200mg in the evening
Tegretol 400mg and Stillnox.

Oh by the way the Stillnox is not helping me anymore so now i take two at night, just to help me sleep.

If you stopped those meds it would be an unwise cliché decision and would likely lead to you losing everything you have.

Hi,

Perhaps you should have your dosage increased, perhaps to 300mg, I'm bipolar type 2 and I'm currently using 350mg epitec, I do function well and yes I do still experience hypomanic episodes but no psychosis. My challenge is getting the dosage between the epitect and the leximal right as I use leximal for my anxiety disorder.

I have been prescribed epictec by a psychiatrist 3 weeks ago. Immediate side effect was constipation. I came out of my depression fairly quickly and harm many bolood tests etc. I have had weight loss and talkativeness some of it very funny and some aggressive. I am feeling very powerful, and can achieve anything. I have not felt like this for many years. I ma 69 and have been very successful running a business and being a prominent figure in the community. My very powerful husband died 10 years agol I have a partner who is very laid back and it has been worrying me. I am enjoying how I feel mostly and I am suddenly creative, funny again but a bit aggressive.I am having some nightmares, and night sweats. My grown kids think something wrong. I will be on last week of medication this week and will call the phycologist tomorrow. I have racing thoughts, but feel close to genius. Hope I am not going to have a big low after this. Had lens replacement and am experiencing 100% vision and play and administer a lot of tennis and associations/foundation. I feel I can conquer the world when previously I felt useless for a few months. What should I do.
My sons wedding is coming up in 2 weeks, and I NEED TO BE STABLE.

I would ask my Dr to relook that script. I was so confused on it.try Venlor or Venlafaxine. I feel a new person .
