Myoril is a product of India, not available in the US; so I cannot gather a full description of the drug. However I did find that its active ingredient which is Thiocolchicoside; which is used as a muscle relaxant, pain reliever, and anti-inflammatory drug.

The following (rare) side effects are associated with Thiocolchicoside:

Somnolence, Nausea, Vomiting, Pain Epigastrique, Diarrhoea, Anxiety, Insomnia, and Obnubilation.

i have injured with struck of bike after that my right shoulder start pain when i checked from dr. then through MRI it shown my c6 n c7 spine is pressed and now i feel heavy pain on neck n right arm , so plz recomemnd me what is gud medecine for me.

Hello friend!!! To get miraculuos relief from excruciating pain caused due to injury or beating, take 2 tablets of MOVON P after first meal, then move down to 1 tablet depending on how that works.... you will feel much better.

Hi !! I am Saheli Das. I am taking Myoril 8 mg. Doctor has prescribe me to take this medicin twice a day for 5 days. I want to know that is there any side effect like weight gain, if taking Myoril 8 mg ?

Moral has limited side effects compared to PAIN KILLERS. advise to drink enough water for detoxification..

Hi, I was having continuous neck pain for 3-weeks & a little numbness in my right arm.
I went to my Orthopaedic, he suggested a MRI scan, nothing major was found, except for mild bulging of C6-C7. he put me on a medication of MYORIL 8mg. for 2-weeks, which subsided later & i stopped taking myoril. now recently again the neck-pain has started & i started using MYORIL 8mg. First time when i took it no side-effect was there.
but when i took the 2nd time(recently), rashes formed on my chest back & hands & they started itching.

is there any known side-effect of MYORIL causing rashes on skin. please let me know.

Hi Saheli, I had also been prescribed myoril 8mg and I was told to take it twice a day for 10days. To answer your question, there was no unnecessary weight gain whilst I was in the drug.
It did work quite well though.
