Lexamil & Lamotrigine Side Effects

Yes I am using lexamil and gained tremedous weight, feeling light headed and feel like vomiting. I am heavily depressed (lost my boy recently)

Lamotigrine, commonly sold under the brand name Lamictal is an anticonvulsant and mood stabilizer, commonly used to treat Epilepsy, BiPolar disorder and some forms of depression.

Some of the most common side effects may include: nausea, insomnia, nightmares and weight changes.

Lexamil contains the active ingredient Escitalopram, commonly sold in the US under the brand name Lexapro. This is an SSRI antidepressant, that is also used to treat some cases of anxiety.

Some of its common side effects may include: nausea, dry mouth, headache and weight gain.

That said, it is possible the medications are contributing to your problems, however, they could also be caused or aggravated, by your depression itself and what you have recently been through. The only real way to arrive at a conclusion would be to consult with your doctor.
