I took 6 mg of klonopin on friday, how long before it's out of my system. I weigh 230lbs.

I hear u, luckily my dr prescribed a patch that helped me w w/d. Benzos get into ur muscles and I believe bones. I am bipolar with horrific pain in my back. So I takes bipolar meds, pain meds and benzos for anxiety. Way too much. I am off clonzipam(sp) for a mon. Am taking non narcotic med that my body is adjusting too. I have fallen 3 times. Pls dont start ever. It is a horrible drug. God's peace

It's been 5 yrs since this post.... I hope and pray that u r ok since we haven't heard how it went. I didn't realize how long ago the post was when I 1st replied. 5 benzos are a lot in 1 day. My mother is hooked for 30 + yrs and doesn't even need them except to stave off WD and SEIZURES/death. She gets 120 a month. Has ppl fill them for her, begs ppl for them, buys them w her SS check. She doesn't pay her bills, and sleeps all day. Bad drug. I lost my mother a LOOOOONG TIME AGO. Physically she is here, but not living a quality life. She'll go without her anti depressants, heart meds, cholesterol meds, but those flipping Xanax are her #1. She's bi-polar, won't admit it, and gets NASTY AS S*** when she's gettin low on pills. When I told her the dr wanted me on Xanax, and I told him no, I thought she was gonna strangle me!!!! She said, "WELL, your MOTHER NEEDS THEM! You could have gotten them for ME!!!!" She's 68, has torn her family apart, and doesn't give a RATS ASS about her 4 kids and 12 grandchildren... But goes on social media sites and acts sweet as sugar. There's not a true statement that come out of that woman's mouth. She doesn't want help, and worse says she doesn't HAVE A PROBLEM!! She bad mouths alcoholics, finally I told her liqueur bottle, pill bottle... No difference... She says yes, hers are PRESCRIBED!!!! Ignorant!! She also will take any pain meds she can find, collects, buys them from friends. I told her that her dr will start a piss test. She said, dr isn't gonna piss test a 68 yo old lady!!! Ignorant!!! See where I'm goin with this?? Do yourself a favor.... Stay away from BENZOS!! Peace, and Lord Bless!

Well im sorry to hear about ur mother ur situation.
But some ppl do have bad anxiety n panic disorder n there's a lot of other forms of anxiety too. An I do also have anxiety, panic disorder extra. An I do also need my klonopin(an other meds im on as well not just the benzos)
I do completely understand ur situation. But some ppl do need them. An if taken right they do work.

I apologize. I'm not trying to minimize anxiety and panic disorder. I've had it myself. It started for her men my grandmother died. That was over 30 years ago. The thing is, she's also bi polar, and didn't like that diagnosis, so for her it was easier to continue with the anxiety/panic phase that she went thru.. (Which later on became "her diagnosis" When I say that, I don't mean it it a "phase" for everyone. Like I said, i I have episodes of anxiety and panic, which feel like a heart attack. I have gone to the emergency room and my blood pressure has been 210/140 heat rate 140. Given Ativan 5mg by iv, and also valium. When I said don't do it, I should have said if stay away from it if at all possible.

I was only giving my experience with it. Like I said, I lost her a long time ago. (30 yrs) treat your acute anxiety attack, but work on the source of the problem. If one keeps feeding anxiety with benzos, it will rebound even more. And then when one uses them too much due to tolerance, her case 120 in 30 days... You can then start the anxiety of not having enough.. Which led to buying, borrowing, stealing them. You may be young or older and just started them... They draw you in, and before you know it, it's 30yrs later. She gave me a Xanax at 16 yrs old... I'm so happy I didn't stay with them. Anytime something in life doesn't go her way, she takes more. THIS IS IMPORTANT.... She mistakes it as anxiety, and has LOST THE INABILITY TO FEEL!!! We are supposed to have emotions, not walk around catatonic. Best to you, and again, I apologize... I didn't mean any disrespect.

@Crystal I have a drug test for my suboxone but they make sure u don't use other drugs with it, I stopped takin klonopins on the oct.12th do u think that it will show up on my system on Thursday oct.16th? Reason it's got me worried is because of the fact that I have searched it on google and one person said it stays in you're blood cells and it will stay in you're system for a year, is that true?

It will probably be in your system... I had taken .5 on a Thursday and Tuesday was my urine test. 5 days it was still in my system... So even at 80 hrs it will still be there. 1 yr... No. I go to pain mgmt every month here in NY, and the urine test must be taken or you don't get your meds. It showed up that one time, and the following month, after they sent it out to the lab, the lab identified the klonopin. If it lasted a yr, it would show up every month. But it hasn't.

So ur sayn it did show up after 80 hrs?
How much u weigh I heard it depends on ur weight as well I'm at 210lb's
I been drinkin water all day no soda I took me sum azo's I'm hoping that it don't show at all nd if it does it don't matter my sub doctor said as long as the levels are goin down instead of showin up even more,

Yes, you did explain it correctly I am 5'6" and 138#. My metabolism is very fast as I also have hyperthoroidism. I even did a cleanse with it. Cranberry, water, and capsules that do a liver cleanse. It may have been just my luck, but if you do pass Chuey, take it as a blessing you didn't get caught. The urine in the Drs office will only detect presence of benzo, when they sent it to the lab, (which they do) the lab will detect what type of benzo. Good luck sweetie.

I just spoke with a doctor from Genentech. He said K has a half life of 30-40 hours and valium has a half life of up to 100 hours.

Sorry DJ. Not sure about saliva. I know with ins co for life ins, they take saliva to see if u smoke cigs. I stopped 3 days before my saliva test and it came up positive for nicotine. They may do the saliva for marijuana but I'm not sure about pills. Good luck

If u take 10 mg of valium, the 1/2 life would be that only 5 mg will b out of your system in 100hrs. Then 200hrs for 10mg. Valium can actually be detected UP TO 28days
I took the 1 k pin and it was in my system 8days later. I had been on them regularly for several months... Was off for over a year. had taken one I had left after some upsetting and anxiety provoking news. 2 weeks later at my pain mgmt appt, it tests pos. the following month, after the urine was sent out, the dr asked when I was prescribed it. (It was listed in my original intake forms) explained I didn't take it regularly, had been off for sometime, and why i took it. Just letting u know, it was in my system longer than what the Genentech dr told u. My sis in law works there and I double checked with her. It depends on the person.

I took ten 1 mlg green tabs and a few xanies all on one night I was clean up to that point how long would u say till it will be out of my system in a big guy I weight 290 and im 30 years old

Up to 28 days. Especially since you're so big. I have a higher metabolism with overactive thyroid n 1 mg was in me 15 days later. I had lost 11 lbs from 1 visit to another, did a colon cleanse n it was still there.

Understood about you sis in law at Genentech. But why would the doctor tell me otherwise? BTW, I am down from a ridiculous dose of 10 mg kpin to .93 mg and have yet to had a w/d symptom. I have to wonder why?

I've been clean for two year I only take two an a half subutex daily I have not relapsed in over 16months . I have hep c also . But my ? Is somehow last week I took a drug screen for probation and it showed up back from a lab that I had small amount of morphine in my urine . How is this possible I haven't don't any pain meds no cough meds none of any kind in over a year I only do my subutex which I'm prescribed . So how is it possible for me to show up positive for morphine .
