How can I flush Soma out of my system for a drug test where they shave your arm pit hair? I have only taken very small amounts of Soma. I have less than 24 hrs to get it out of my system. Any help?

Hello and yes, in PA I recv'd very similar treatment from police while driving under a suspension and PRESCRIBED extended release opiate. My autistic son takes Benadryl for 'melt down' episodes and this specific episode had been ongoing for3+ hours. No Benadryl in my home so I needed to get that and chose to drive under suspension. On route, a skunk or opossum darted in front of me and I swerved to miss it and flipped the car onto its roof, knocked me out for don't know how long but police were called and well ... ended up with 9 months house arrest, more fines and another year of suspension. I know what you feel --- and I can't say what I feel about corrupt LE, especially rural corrupt police who blatantly show bias among the community.

I was denied my pain meds because the Dr said I was on Soma, even though I've been on all three for years , but in November 2015 I was told I had to go to a pain clinic, nothing was said about Soma and my pain meds were dropped cause he said the pee test showed it was sooooo high I could die, ok let's deal with. that , in January he said that the 2nd (voluntay) pee test showed that Soma was extremely high, but I had refills, he continued to prescribed pain meds , today he refused to prescribe my pain meds cause I'm still on Soma , he said I had to stop Soma and go back in 2 weeks do a 3rd pee test and if no Soma he will prescribe my pain meds again. ?????? I don't understand, I've been told the Soma is a muscle relaxant.

I have read many threads as I am trying to find answers for myself. I understand it is addictive and someone here was denied pain meds for using it yet soma was still prescribed. ..won't this cause people to look for medicines on street when doctors are confusing? If you are prescribed meds then abruptly denied I would think this would cause you to seek them out wherever you can. Doctors should be more compassionate rather than doing what I have read here. I believe that needs to change. As for how long sorry I havent got a clear response so if you shouldn't be on them don't be. I find them so much more helpful than any opiate I was on. They stop that charlie horse type cramping in my back muscles that lead to my pain. I plan on talking with my doctors about this. I am seeking to get off opiates but having been told this past month not to take soma i am suffering. I didn't know it was helpful until I stopped taking it. Wishing you all the best.

Folks the guidelines are pretty much the same for all drugs-prescribed or otherwise.

Hair test: just pray that it doesn't become the standard.

U/a: 3-4 days max for everything except cannabis (can take up to 9wks). Drink tons of water before hand and a red bull, you'll pass

Blood: everything but cannabis is gone in 24hrs, hence why no one uses that method

Amen! I agree with you completely. The lines between illegal drugs and illegal drug use. And of course the police don't bother to use common sense. I was approached by police one day. I was getting moving boxes behind the grocery store. I raked a bunch of leaves in my yard and I thought I'd run down the street get some boxes instead of putting leaves in plastic bags. Anyway, idk why the officer interrupted me (he was new is why actually). Anyway, he wanted to search my car and purse. And I had one pill in my coin bag that I'm prescribed. I was in my aunts jeep, so my paperwork was in my truck. I asked the officer, sir. I see your computer in your car, walgreen's is across the street. That's my pharmacy. Can you check, or my house is down the street, if you drive by you'll see my yard with raked up leaves ready for these boxes. And my truck has my script id. Nope he didn't care. Really he just wanted to arrest someone. And yep, I went to jail, sat there for 3 days and the judge actually said wth... Sign this paper and release this woman. Its sad and a waste of our time. Plus citizens don't know the rules. Like if you carry a bottle of pills, it's an intent to sell and distribute drugs. I make copies of my husband and my meds. Put it in the glove box in all our cars and our kids cars. What if you dropped a pill. Or left your purse in your daughter's car? Now they have a problem. I wish police would protect & serve more. I respect cops. My kids are good ppl & clueless. I tell them when talking to police, you have to lie/make up a story. The truth is so unbelievable, in my experience.

14 days as any muscle relaxers. Muscle relaxers take longer than opiates. Xanax and benzoids take up to 4 weeks.
