Amtas 5 Used For High Blood Presure

Hi there I'm diabetic and take Indoblok 40mg 5x pd and Amtas 5 in morning. My heartbeat so fast if I don't have indoblok. I'm using it for 30 yrs now... I have an enlarged heart... My heart rate is 103 and higher.. What can I do please?

What is your heart rate with the Indoblok?

Is 103 a resting heart rate or is that after activity?

It is normal for those with such a heart condition to have a higher heart rate, due to the fact that their heart has to work harder than normal. Medications such as this are usually intended to help keep the heart from having to work so hard, so it doesn't go into heart failure. I have to take one every day, due to high blood pressure, which causes by heart rate to accelerate.

Continuing your medication, as directed by your doctor, while getting proper exercise and eating a healthy diet is the best thing to do.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased urination and hypotension.

Are you on any other medications? Do you smoke? Do you drink alcohol? Do you drink a lot of caffeinated beverages?
