I've been on zubsolv for about 6 months now and was on 5.7 one time a day. Wasn't working as well and started getting those thoughts that you wish would never come through your head so talked to my doc and actually they just came out with the 8.6. I feel alot better now just worried my tolerance will just keep goin up with this just like with the dope. Then what? I've been doing very well but lately just been havin these crazy thoughts. But I love how a lot of people on here are saying zubsolv and suboxone aren't the same lol some people are really in there head bad worse then me haha. I've taken both and have had the same result. I just want to be normal again.

Hello I just got switched from suboxone to this new medication zubzolv I was previously on 1-8 milligram film a day and now its 5.7mg/1.4mg but was told that the 5.7mg is same as an 8mg film witch makes no sense to me if its the same thing as an 8 milligram film then why not mak the zubzolv in a 8 milligram form? Today is my second day on this new med and I do not feel the effects it not happy only good thing is the cost anx they say " you get what you pay for" and I picked up only a 10 day supply and only cost me $10 with the $75 savings not good at all sorry...

Of course a 2 mg Xanax made you feel good. Try it without then tell us about your day.

I just tried zubsolv an it sucks not worth even trying it. If you want to go through withdrawals take zubsolv if you don't want withdrawals take suboxone. Zubsolv pays people to write good reviews to sell their products. Read the reviews an you can see

Hello,

Based on my research, Zubsolv is a medication that contains the active ingredients Buprenorphine + Naloxone. This medication is intended for the treatment of Opioid dependance.

Buprenorphine is a semi-synthetic opioid that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages, to control moderate acute pain in non-opioid-tolerant individuals in lower dosages, and to control moderate chronic pain.

Common adverse drug reactions associated with the use of buprenorphine are similar to those of other opioids and include:

Nausea and vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, memory loss, cognitive and neural inhibition, perspiration, itchiness, dry mouth, miosis, orthostatic hypotension, male ejaculatory difficulty, decreased libido, and urinary retention.

Naloxone is an opioid antagonist medication developed by Sankyo in the 1960s. It is used to counter the effects of opiate overdose, but is also specifically used to counteract life-threatening depression of the central nervous system and respiratory system.

Possible side effects include:

Change in mood, increased sweating, nausea, nervousness, restlessness, trembling, vomiting, allergic reactions such as rash or swelling, dizziness, fainting, fast or irregular pulse, flushing, headache, heart rhythm changes, seizures, sudden chest pain.

Naloxone has been shown to block the action of pain-lowering endorphins which the body produces naturally. The likely reason for this is that these endorphins operate on the same opioid receptors that naloxone blocks.

You can learn more about this drug on the page for Buprenorphine + Naloxone Details

I hope this information helps, please post back if you have any questions!

I feel the same way, suboxone is so much better. I started zubsolv 6 days ago. I have been taking suboxone for 5 years now, 8 mg film 2 a day, and I truly miss it. Zubsolv doesn't have the same effect but I did get frequent headaches on suboxone too. I can't say that suboxone was the cause of my headaches either I guess time will tell. I only switched because my insurance wouldn't cover the full price anymore and I had to pay 80% toward the medication! I'm truly thinkn of just paying the cost for them so I can go back to the way things were. Sometimes the savings just isn't worth it. Maybe I just need to get use to these just like I needed to get use to suboxone after being addicted to percocets. Is any one else having this same issue? Do these get better? Am I just feeling this way because it's all in my head? I mean they do work but not as good as suboxone where it lasted longer.

Thanks to Zubsolv, I feel better. My Doc prescribed me 180 Percocet 10's and 60 Roxicodone (for breakthru pain) 30mg.,
5 yrs ago after a major boating accident where I broke my collarbone, shoulder, and every rib-bone. Obviously I got very addicted. For my Family I decided to come off it all as I was running out a week early the last year.Refused to buy anything off the street for the outrageous prices. So I laid there so sick, avoiding my Family.Went to hospital 3 different times thinking I had an illness n not realizing "pills-sick." Anyways, that got to be too much to deal with. They called my Dr at my request n she prescribed me Suboxone n it worked. But for Ins reasons I had to switch to Zubsolv. I Love it!!! For me, its equaled to Subs but saves me bput $650/month. I'm down to 1 a day n still feel "good" effects from it. if u have a choice, try Zubsolv over Suboxone.

Thank you, I 100% agree...these people see the 8mg/2mg of suboxone versus zubsolv being 5.7mg/1.4mg but when you actually have a little intelligence & ability to read & understand, then tbey would realize that bc of the way this drug company makes the Zub & the ingrediants it is made from make the bioavailability much better, meaning...what your body actually absorbs, the actual intact dose of bup you receive a& feel is actually better than suboxone. In the end, you actually only get about 2-3mg of bup from suboxone, after considering the bioavailability, dissolve time, blockage of some of the bup by the naloxone etc and with the same considerations you end up getting around 4-4.5mg of bup from a Zubsolv.....to anyone claiming otherwise & swearing it caused you to go thru WD....if so, then suboxone would cause you ti go through the same thing! People, we have the internet now, do some actual research, look at some of the drug trials done before the FDA approved Zubsolv as an equal alternative to Suboxone, basically several studies were done & nearly all of them had results where as many as 9 out of 10 participants PREFERRED Zubsolv to Suboxone. Ok, rant over lol but yes dude, you're perfectly right...and if you're married make sure to save that remark bc wives will never tell you you''re right lmfao

I have been on suboxone for 11 months 16 mg @ day .My insurance wont pay for suboxone and i cant afford the 400.00 @ month bill that comes with it . My doctor switched me to Zubsolv 5.7 mg twice a day. It has been a week on it and i do like the taste and how quickly it dissolves ....but I feel iam having withdrawl symptoms from the suboxone . After about 4 days on the Zubsolv I was having body aches , nausea , watery eyes and irritability , just not feeling 100 %. I have no choice but to stay on the Zubsolv and hope this goes away . Has anyone who has taken the Zubsolv after suboxone noticed this ?

Hey, this is in response to "Jesse James" you kindly asked for a response. I did not see a kind one, unless I missed it. I know your post is a little old now, but just in case you still check the forum, I wanted to respond.

No, you can not take methadone or any other opiates while on Zubsolv or Subxone. You take it to block the receptors and quell the cravings. It is taken for the same reason one would take methadone therapeutically, as treatment for opioid addiction. It sounds like you need to get to a good doctor and get some solid direction. If your messing with methadone and H, a suboxone dose can be difficult to figure out after methadone. If you are still messing with H as well, you need to get help. I wish you well, surrender and God Bless.

I've been using Suboxone 8/2mg for two years and my insurance also sent me the letter indicating that they will not cover my strips anymore. I received my first Zubsolv prescription today and I can say that so far I feel no ill effects. I can tell that it's going to take a little while to wrap my brain around the fact that the pills are so much smaller (size) and that they dissolve pretty quickly, but honestly I feel just as well as I did on the Suboxone strips and the Zubsolv tastes WAY better. Best of luck to you!

Yes! My dr was very hesitate on it but my ins stopped covering the suboxone. This was the product my ins covered. I had headaches and felt terrible. I was on 6mg of suboxone which they say is the same as 5.7mg of zubsolv. They say you can take less of it cause it goes to your bloodstream quicker. It was so bad I now pay out of pocket for the suboxone which I dropped down to 4mgs. My dr was not happy about switching me to zubsolv because she said she had never heard of it and knew nothing about it. May be different for others but my experience was terrible almost felt like I was trying to go thru w/d and was always sleepy with a major headache.

Was on suboxone for over a year. Was switched to zubsolv for insurance purposes and it took a couple months but I think it's much better. Not only does it help the cravings it helps my chronic pain. Thank god for zubsolv. People just need to give it a chance.

I am a long-term opiate abuser and have taken suboxone for over a year. The last few months I switched to zubsolv and didn't experience any problems. I have been cutting back slowly. I have been at 1mg - 1/8th a pill for 10 days. Going to basically go to pill crumbs soon. I just wanted to state my experience with zub, since I read all bad stuff about it, and people say the good is propaganda. Best wishes to a all :)

I have used both suboxone and zubsolv. I have had phenomenal results with zubsolv. Suboxone gave me instant headaches and horrendous stomach cramps!!! Zubsolv dissolves and tastes better as well. I am so grateful that orexo came out with a much better choice! They also have an awesome program whether you have insurance or not. Zubsolv saved my life. Thank you orexo and my awesome Dr.

My insurance switched me to zubsolv bc they wouldn't cover suboxone. I feel no difference and I'm saving about 800$ a month. I actually think it works better. I feel like I have more energy. Worth the switch no doubt.

Zubsolv is great, much better taste. Try it! No reason to continue with suboxone.

Hi Heather, I’m glad to hear that your experience with ZUBSOLV has been positive so far. I am an expert in addiction medicine and internal medicine, and I work with Orexo.

Do you know about Orexo’s RISE program? Orexo, the maker of ZUBSOLV (buprenorphine and naloxone) sublingual tablet (CIII), has launched this 24/7, real-time support program developed with the help of people with opioid dependence to meet the real-world needs of patients and their support team. The program:

- Provides continuous access to information and resources throughout the recovery process

- Offers customization based on patient needs

- Is mobile-enabled for access anywhere, anytime

- Facilitates 2-way communication between the patient and his or her doctor

If you choose to use it as part of your program, I would love to hear if you are finding it helpful.

ZUBSOLV is a controlled substance (CIII) because it contains buprenorphine, which can be a target for people who abuse prescription medicines or street drugs. Keep your ZUBSOLV in a safe place to protect it from theft. Never give your ZUBSOLV to anyone else; it can cause death or harm them. Selling or giving away this medicine is against the law. Keep ZUBSOLV in a secure place away from children. If a child accidentally takes ZUBSOLV, this is a medical emergency and can result in death. Get emergency help right away.

Do not inject ("shoot-up") ZUBSOLV. Injecting ZUBSOLV may cause life-threatening infections and other serious health problems. Injecting ZUBSOLV may cause serious withdrawal symptoms such as pain, cramps, vomiting, diarrhea, anxiety, sleep problems, and cravings

Note: I am compensated by Orexo to provide expertise and for my time to post.
