March 11th is the day I began taking it and finish my last pill March 19th. On March 21st is when I got my withdrawal period and it lasted until March 26th. I spotted on April 6th and I was supposed to start my period on April 24th. And still nothing, I've had a little cramping and increased urination. But I'm nervous to test. Has anyone had this happen to them?
Updated in MedroxyprogesteroneI m 4 weeks pregnant and this is my 2nd pregnancy... doctor suggested me with progesterone susten 200 for a month... After taking it, am experiencing very bad nausea through out the day and feeling sleepy too.... is these the side effects of this tablet. Should I discontinue using it.
Updated in ProgesteroneI just turned 50; been having terrible night sweats for past 3-5 years. Last year I had a uterine ablation/removal of polyps, so have not had my period for almost a year (yeah!). However I am probably periodically ovulating. More recently have been having waves of panic. My obgyn put me on estrogel (1pump at night) and prometrium 10 days ago. She said If I still have night sweats after 1 week, take 2 pumps of the estrogel. My question are 1) is it normal to have abdominal cramping on/off while taking estrogel? and if not, should I still increase to 2 pumps since the night sweats have not changed? 2) When I had my hormone levels checked last year my estradiol was 122; is this too high to be taking estrogel? I would appreciate any words of wisdom here. Thanks. ## Just curious. Did your ab...
I took plan B on Jan 25 2015. On Jan 26 2015 my period came on and then again on Feb 6 2015. On Feb 16 2015 I went to the ER because I was having massive bleeding and thought I was having a miscarriage. I was given an imaging ultrasound and was told that I have a moderate size fibroid. I saw my OBGYN and was told that I have a fibroid the size of a quarter and she wouldn't show me the pics after I asked. She hasn't done a physical examination at all since I started seeing her. She just did blood work because I told her that Im always tired and she prescribed blood pressure meds. She also prescribe medroxyprogesterone 10mg 1 per day every day. My period completely stopped and on March 30 2015 I decided to stop taking it since my stomach is hard and forming like im pregnant. I hav...
I had a breast removed 5years ago. Because I had infection the oncologist told me they could not guarantee chemo would work since it was 5 wks since surgery. I asked if he could guarantee it anyway. No answer. I started eating 1 cup raspberries a day as I had heard they were as good as tomoxafin, and felt they could not hurt me. When my infection cleared after many months I had no Cancer signs in my blood work and I refused chemo. They put me on arimidex for five years. I have no energy, muscle pain in my legs, I can only walk a short distance and standing any length of time is exhausting. I had bouts of depression and crying. All in all I was not happy with the meds. I just finished my 5 yr and hope the symptoms disappear. ## I just started tamoxifen almost 4 week ago, I feel so tired,...

I found these pills they are small whte pills. On one side there are three squares, and on the other side there is a p-o. meaning a P on the top and a score across and an O on the bottom part. I am just wondering what they are ## Hi Heather, A pill with this sort of imprint can be a tricky one to identify since you're also trying to describe a logo or symbol with three squares. And because keyboards don't have characters for markings like this, typing the words in a search box isn't always going to yield the most accurate results. So in light of not finding any matching details, I came up with a couple other questions of my own that may help narrow down any further attempts to identify what it may be: What shape is the pill in question? (i.e. round, oval, oblong, square, etc...

Is there anything else I can help with? ## I received Farcun 200, its a white pill and says it was manufactured by Combitic Global. Searching their website I don't see Farcun listed as a product. Is this some sort of label scam?

I understand some males take conjugated estrogens for different indications. What if any side effects do men have when taking estrogen. My doctor gave me a female hormone to reduce breast enlargement when also using ANDROGEL(III) ## Hello, Kim! How are you? Mostly similar to what women experience, according to the FDA, you may experience headaches and irritability. However, on the other side, unlike women, it may change your hair growth, so you lose some facial or body hair, if you have any. Though, there's a good chance that the Androgen will prevent this. It's side effects are very similar, you may experience headaches, irritability and anxiety. Is there anything else I can help with?

I started taking Estratest FS 2 days ago. I was on patches that seemed to have stopped working so I quit using them. I went 3 weeks without using anything. I was getting ill all the time and ZERO interest in sex, as in, I could care less if I ever had sex again and when I did have sex, I was very angry afterwards because I didn't want to have it in the first place. I had no energy and was almost in a depression like state. My doctor prescribed Estratest. The last 2 days I have been in a full on rage, so much that I was on the verge of crying because I am so angry. I don't know if it's because I haven't been using anything for 3 weeks or if it is because of the Estratest. I don't know how long it takes to get it my system and start working. I had a full hysterectomy A...

Updated in EstratestI have just been advised to start Premarin Creme 2x/wk with use of pessary. I am 53 yo and in menopause. I am nervous about using an estrogen creme and/or any hormone therapy. Any thoughts about use and negative effects. ## Hello, B! How are you? I understand your concern. Many women do well with it, but yes, there are risks, such as increased risk of cancer and heart disease. The typical side effects of hormonal therapy, as listed by the FDA may include nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability and PMS-like symptoms. However, you don't have to use it. Whether your doctor recommends it, or not, it is still up to you. So, if you're not comfortable, no one can make you use it. What types of symptoms are you having? Some women do well taking a low dose of Prozac/Fluoxetine to allev...
Do not use this patch! It started of OK and gradually like within 4-5 began to give me SERIOUS nausea! Second week I started getting excruciating back pain on the right side of my back. Even with 800ml of ibuprofen I was still in pain for two days straight. Then and up until now as I am writing this post I have severe body ache, a fever, a head ache and is uber emotional like I cannot stop trembling hence the reason I am in ER. I can not refill for two days. Will I be ok ## Hello, Amanda! How are you? I'd suggest checking with your doctor. While I doubt missing a few doses will cause a significant problem, it's best to check with them to be certain. Tamoxifen is used to treat breast cancer, early breast cancer and as a prevention. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, blurred vision, headache, hot flushes and rash. Is this the only one you're on?
Can't understand the bias from the makers of Osphena. The cost is prohibitive yet and don't ask me why but if you have private insurance even though they won't cover the drug Osphena offers DEEP discounts. If however you have Medicare or Medicaid you don't qualify for any discounts EVEN though we would ALL be willing to pay out of pocket if it works. I speak from experience. I can't try it under the same DEEP discount???? What women over 65 don't enjoy having intercourse?? Or disabled women?? If it worked I would be willing to pay the 177. per month so why can't I get the same benefits???? ## Hello, Luanne! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem you've run into. However, that limitation is not actually one imposed by the manufacturers, but by t...
