Hi, I was prescribed this medication on 4th June this year for 7 days as during an endoscopy they found about 40 white lumps in my gullet, they sprayed it and it didn't go away so they said it might be thrush... they couldn't take biopsies as my INR was 2.8 (i am on life long warfarin) .. my symptoms prior to the treatment were pain in the area of my hiatus hernia radiating down to my lower abdomen, difficulty swallowing (also have thymic hyperplasia) and really bad chest pain. I finished the full course but ever since still waking up early hours with the same pain which lasts for hours and i can't get any sleep and i have lost my appetite and feel nauseous all the time. They said if it didn't work i would have to go back for biopsies, could it be cancer ? nobody explain...

I just stop taking Medroxyprogesterone 10mg. How long does it take to stop bleeding? I was given this medication because the lining of my uterus is a little thick. I haven't had a menstrual period in 9 yrs. ## Hello, Nece! How are you? Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you. It will really depend on how thick the lining was and how long it takes to slough off. How long were you taking the medication and how long have you been bleeding, now? The FDA lists the other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and PMS-like symptoms.

Hi there, I have searched the web but cant find my answer. Was given Provera 10mg twice daily starting on THE LAST DAY of my menstrual cycle. For the past few months I had terrible spotting a week before my period was due, which is awfull. My period would last app. 4-7 days after this. I was diagnosed with endemetrioses at a young age, but have healthy children:-) We are trying for a baby but struggeling. My gynie tested to see if I am ovulating, and I am. He gave me Provera to start on the last day (the 25 June)last pil on the 5th July. I have not started any kind of spotting or period up to now (16 days) and my period is 3 days late. I have menstrual cramps for 3 days but nothing. Also no nausea bit of tender breasts. Is this common? I dont want to get too excited as it is devestating do

I've been taking the Estratest 1.25/2.5 for years without complications. I just started Tamoxifen 10 days ago after lumpectomy and radiation for ER+. Breast cancer. Clear margins, sentinel node negative. My oncologist recommended radiation and IV chemo for one year. I agreed to radiation, refused chemo. Arimidex recommended, I agreed and started taking as soon as I finished 6 weeks of radiation. I was unable to tolerate the joint pain and bone aches, and the very frequent and severe hot flashes so I stopped Arimidex after 3 months. That was 3 years ago. At my last oncology visit, my doctor recommended I start Tamoxifen just to be safe, as I have no signs or symptoms of recurrence. I reluctantly agreed to give it a try and started it 10 days ago. I have been taking Loestrine Fe for over 2 years and have had spotting about every few months. A few days ago I had a very strong flowing period, which concerned me because I am not supposed to have any periods anymore. Also when I have a bowel movement I have blood in it. I drank a protein shake for breakfast every morning that contained 5,083 mg of L-Glutamine during my first trimester. I was unaware of the harmful effects L-Glutamine supplements could have on the fetus. Do u think I hurt the baby in any way? I am a female in my early 40's. I had an hysterectomy over 14 years ago plus my doctor does NOT think it's premenopausal symptoms? But...it's getting worse and becoming so stressful! When it happens during the day I have to step outside in the cold plus my face and chest get BRIGHT RED!! I was prescribed progesterone by my OB/GYN about 3 weeks ago because my periods were not coming and my husband and I are trying to conceive. I finally got a period on May 13th and it ended on the 20th. Tonight my period started again. Is this normal? Has anyone experienced this and should i be concerned? ## Progesterone is a hormone, so taking it is going to throw things off and you may experience irregular periods, for awhile. If you're concerned, please speak with your doctor, but trying to reset your hormones by inducing a cycle is going to cause these types of things. I'm 20 years old and I've had a history of irregular periods so my doctor prescribed me Medroxyprogesterone. March 11th is the day I began taking it and finish my last pill March 19th. On March 21st is when I got my withdrawal period and it lasted until March 26th. I spotted on April 6th and I was supposed to start my period on April 24th. And still nothing, I've had a little cramping and increased urination. But I'm nervous to test. Has anyone had this happen to them?

I m 4 weeks pregnant and this is my 2nd pregnancy... doctor suggested me with progesterone susten 200 for a month... After taking it, am experiencing very bad nausea through out the day and feeling sleepy too.... is these the side effects of this tablet. Should I discontinue using it.
