Cannot pass wind up or down. Intense pain/cramps from trapped gas. Doctor in trauma unit found evidence of a tummy bug and prescribed various meds including Buscopan Co - three a day, one before each meal. I am too bloated to eat so I drank some soy milk with it. Can I increase the dose? ## Hello, Roger! How are you? You should follow your doctor's dosing instructions. What other medications did he prescribe? Some may cause more bloating and gas, for awhile, as side effects. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Buscopan as possibly including sleepiness, vision changes and triggering of glaucoma. Is there anything else I can help with?

I accidentally put systane eye drops n my nose thinking it was my saline, is this dangerous? Should I go to doctor? ## Hello, Cindy! How are you? It would actually be more risky the other way around, since nasal drops are not sterile like eye drops. Since these are just lubricating drops, there's likely nothing to worry about, but you may experience runny nose and some nasal irritation, as reported by the FDA. Did you experience any adverse effects? When in doubt, it's always best to check with your doctor, your nearest urgent care or call poison control.

Here is an interesting story. Obviously I cannot validate it too much but wanted to throw this information out there and see if anybody else has heard of it. Basically about 6 years ago an Asian coworker friend of mine was mentioning that some of her friends had gotten prescriptions for Xalatan in order to grow facial hair. I came to learn that Xalatan is primarily used to treat the eyes, not cause hair growth! The reason I mentioned that she was Asian is because she explained that many Asian men do not grow thick facial hair. But after applying Xalatan to their faces, after some time, their facial hair supposedly came in thicker. Very interesting, I thought to myself. Then I went ahead and was reading some of Xalatan's side effects. Listed are: - May permanently darken eyelashes - ...

I took 2 pill by mistake what should I do? ## Hello, Jose! How are you? Did you suffer any adverse effects? Anytime you are worried about such a situation, you should call your local poison control number, or your nearest emergency services unit. While there are always those of us that are happy to help, if you would end up in a life threatening situation, there is nothing we can do to help you, over the Internet. This tablet is manufactured by Taro Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 250mgs of Acetazolamide, which the FDA classifies as an anticonvulsant. Overdosing on an anticonvulsant creates the risk of seizures, as well as worsening of other side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness and mood swings. ## White round pill 53f what is it

My husband has been on Travatan eye drops for glaucoma for nearly a year. For the last few months he has felt dazed and confused. Various tests have not shown anything that may be the cause and he has been told that the side effects of Travatan would not include his dazed symptoms. We think that the Travatan drops may be the cause as he has felt like this since starting the use of. Has anyone else experienced the same problem ? ## Hello, Butterfly! How are you and your husband? No, that is correct, it does not include such side effects. Is he on any other medications? Does he have any other medical conditions? The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including anxiety, eye irritation, eye dryness and seasonal allergy.

I had my cataracts removed from both eyes before I was diagnosed with diabetes and now I was told that I need laser surgery done to clear up my vision. Will laser surgery help correct our vision after having the cataract surgery? Is it safe to do the surgery with diabetes and what will be the possible consequences of doing it? Can anyone suggest me a reputed LASIK surgery centre in Burlington? I would appreciate any advice/suggestions. Thank you.

I had an injection in my left eye 3 weeks ago for symptomatic VMT. I experienced flashes, swirls, clouds and moving shapes constantly for almost one week. The adhesion released and I am currently having yellow tinged vision that is sharp up close, but blurry and dim farther away. My doctor said that it may improve, but patients have told him that their vision is never exactly the same. Has anyone had a similar experience with this yellowing and dim vision, and has it improved. If so, how long did it take? ## Hello, Jean! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've experienced. Those can be normal side effects of Jetrea, as listed by the FDA, you may also experience floaters, eye pain and dry eye. However, I can't speak on personal experience, as I've never been on i...

Can I use durezol and visine? The durezol is burning my eyes ## The burning can be a normal side effect of Durezol, as listed by the FDA. You may also experience blurred vision, watery eyes and mild headache. However, I'd not recommend mixing it with the Visine, unless your doctor approves, since it could affect how much of the Durezol you absorb. Is there anything else I can help with?

I would like s discount because my prescriptions are over $500 ## Hello, Scooter! How are you? There is an assistance program for Nevanac, though I don't know what the qualifications are, but you can call them for more information at 800-222-8103. You can use the same number for information on Vigamox. Since they are manufactured by the same company. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including eye irritation, tearing and redness. Is there anything else I can help with?

Opcon A eye drops work well for a short time. I haven't found any eye drops to replace Visine L.R. that have the lasting effects. Help! ## Hi Jerry - you might want to check out another discussion on this since it already has a lot of people posting in it: Visine LR Discontinued (Newest posts first). Hope this helps! ## If you only need them occasionally, use what I use —although it's Rx Only (in practice, a local doc visits a local pharmacy and we buy it OTC or if we have Rx coverage, bring a script) —TOBRADEX (generic available: TOBRAMYCIN and DEXAMETHASONE. Not for daily use. Very effective and the generic is expensive; I use my RX coverage to pay for 3 x 5mL and noted that the retail would be close to $300, ad that;s for the Sandoz generic. Im not an ophthalmolog...

I got hit on the bridge of my nose with a football on 29 Aug. After 4 days I started experiencing discomfort and redness in my right eye and was prescribed the above eye drops. I've been told to use it 6 times a day for three days and to continue reducing the number of times by one every three days. Is it safe to use as I still feel uncomfortable. I also see white flashes occasionally especially when I look down with my eyes. I'm worried. Please advise if there's a problem with my retina or cornea and what should I do.

At first I didn't think Latisse worked at all and I was wasting my money. I later realized that I was getting ripped off by imitation Latisse. Apparently the real Latisse has a patented ingredient called "bimatoprost" which comes from Allergan. After about 10 weeks my lashes and eyebrows were where I wanted them to be. The imitation wasn't cutting it. Moral of the story; make sure it's the real deal. ## Hi Julie, Thanks for sharing your feedback on Latisse. I wonder, where did you get it from the first time when you felt like it wasn't working correctly? Was it from a legitimate prescription? I only ask because I do see a lot of posts on here relating to people ordering medications from overseas, just to avoid a doctor visit...but often times their medication end...

sore throat after taking "prolenza" and unfocused ## Hello, Cosette! How are you? Prolensa is classified by the FDA as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it's most commonly used to treat pain and swelling of the eye, after cataract surgery. However, since it is applied directly to the eye, its side effects are usually limited to ocular ones and may include eye irritation, changed color vision, headache and itching of the eye. Have you consulted your doctor?

Three months after a vitrectomy in my left eye for treatment of a macular hole, I developed vitreal traction in my right eye. After much consideration I did agree to the Jetrea inj when vision started to worsen. I had the inj before a macular hole in the right eye developed. After near blindness within 24 hours of the inj and a three day light show, things greatly improved. Five days after the inj the OCT test showed the traction had released. Three months later I have nearly 20/20 vision in the eye. I am very thankful that it worked for me. ## Awesome! I am so glad that it worked for you! Did you experience any of the other side effects that the FDA lists, such as heavy tearing, eye pain and dry eyes? Has Jetrea worked for anyone else? ## No, I did not experience excessive tearing or p...

severe reaction to this medicine. Dr. decided to give this med to mom in law. Her pressure in her eyes were slightly elevated, but she was complaining of blurry vision and headaches without much cause or symptoms. The night she used the drops, she was in so much pain in her eyes, burning, stinging, and then of course a pounding head ache. The next day she could not touch her lids to wash her face. So tender. Of course she was told to stop the drops, but wondered if anyone has had any reactions or side effects no matter how small to this eye drop? Thanks. ## While I don't have any personal experience with this drug, I do want to mention that "she" experienced pretty much every common and severe adverse effect that this medication can induce. Common side effects of Travatan (T...

My son is suffering from arthritis. He is also suffering from UVITIS (eye disease). The Eye Specialist has prescribed Predmet eye drops. He has been using the drops for the last two years. Are there any side effects associated with long term use? ## Predmet is an excellent drug but only to be used for a very, very short time -- max 4 days and on the 4th day only 1/2 is given, not the full amount. My Rheumatologist gave me 10 mg for a year and my bones fell apart. Now I'm getting poison to try to get some bone mass back. The MD's have what they call 'medpacks' of Pred. and taken in that short of time should cause no harm. There has to be something else that would help the situation he is in other than Predmet. Just because it's excellent does not mean in the least tha...

A woman I care for has ibs and glaucoma. The doctor put her on cosopt of drops recently and she feels it is affecting her ibs. Before taking cosopt she had her ibs under control. Is this possibles? ## Hello, Tricia! How are you? Yes, that is possible. When something is used in the eye, as opposed to being used topically on the skin, more of it is absorbed and it can cause problematic side effects. This medication is approved by the FDA to treat intraocular pressure associated with glaucoma and its typical side effects may possibly include burning, stinging, redness, blurred vision and bitter taste in mouth. Is there anything else I can help with?
