Prolensa is classified by the FDA as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, it's most commonly used to treat pain and swelling of the eye, after cataract surgery.

However, since it is applied directly to the eye, its side effects are usually limited to ocular ones and may include eye irritation, changed color vision, headache and itching of the eye.
