oval white pill with v on one side and 3596 on other ## was changed from norcos to the vicodin 3596, wondering in there is more or less codien in them before taking ## NEITHER ONE HAS CODEINE IN IT!!!! Norco contains exactly the SAME ingredients that Vicodin does!! Please note the V on the pill DOES NOT stand for Vicodin. It stands for the pharmaceutical company: Vintage Qualitest. The pill marked V 3596 contains Acetaminophen 750mgs and Hydrocodone 7.5mgs. Exactly the same as active ingredients as the Norco did. The only difference is who manufactures them and possibly the dosage, if your doctor changed it. Hydrocodone is still a narcotic, but much stronger than codeine. ## is is safe for me to use my medicade card to fill out my norco 10mg scrip even if my dr desn't take medicade ...

what is this pill.. is has a cursive v on one side and the #'s 35 94 on the other ## Well first of all, the V does not stand for Vicodin, pill imprints do not work that way, except in the case of some limited name brands that might put the name of the product on the pill. This stylized V is the manufacturer's logo, the company is Vintage/Qualitest. So while there are some pills with the V that are a version of Vicodin, there also plenty of other drugs that aren't any type of narcotic that have the V logo on them as well. This pill contains Acetaminophen 500mgs and Hydrocodone 7.5mgs, a narcotic pain reliever, generic for Lortab. ## possibly a prednisone

is this pill simalar to percoset or methedone and what kind of side effects should I expect, or is this more like vicodin. is this a mild pain pill or should I expect something a little stronger.TCLKX ## This is actually a discontinued medication, it contains 100mgs of Propoxyphene and 650mgs of Acetaminophen, the active ingredients in Darvocet, which is a very mild narcotic analgesic. All medications containing Propoxyphene were removed from the market, by order of the FDA, because it was found to be cardiotoxic. It resulted in severe cardiovascular evens for some users, such as heart attacks and has been known to cause some deaths. Is there anything else I can help you with?

I really don't understand the big deal about everyone wanting Vicodin. I have had to take it for the past 10yrs for chronic pain and would give anything to not have to take it. There is no high just the ease up of the pain so I can work. Which I was told I would never do again. My ex-husband used to steal them and try and make me believe I would get up and take them and not remember. Ended that marriage. Then he started drinking again. Makes no sense why you would want to take them if you didn't have to. ## The main reason that some people want them and abuse them is due to the fact that not everyone reacts the same to every medication. The Hydrocodone in Vicodin is a narcotic opiate, so some people do get a a high feeling and euphoria, when they take it. These effects do usuall...

i was prescribed this medication after i had a total knee replacement. if it is a blue oval with v15 on one side it definately is vicodin es 10ml. my doctor who rarely prescribes pain medication told me that it is very addictive. i was very pleased with the result and feel like it is better than the old lortab 10s. to WF if you found this in your sons room he probably bought it at school or from a friend who stole their parents medication. ## To post a response to someone else's message, you should place your reply right under it and use the submit reply button, otherwise they may not see it. HOW MANY MG OF CODIENE? ## Vicodin actually contains Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen, not Codeine, but it is still a narcotic pain reliever. And on another note, I can't find any record of a pill with this marking, or even something similar, in any of our databases. Was it found/obtained in the U.S.?
