What is the reason for FDA to withhold Methscopolamine Nitrate from use as an ingredient for in pharmaceutical products? ## I'd like to know as well. I have been taking prescription allergy medications for years and suddenly I am unable to get the prescription I need to ease my symptoms. The pharmacist tells me that the FDA has recalled the drying agent in these medications, but doesn't know the reason for the recall. Unfortunately, me and other allergy sufferers, are not able to get the full relief from OTC allergy products as they do not contain this ingredient. Please let me know if too much of this medication taken for a long period of time can cause worms? ## No, that is not a known side effects. This is an antacid and the FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, headache, dizziness, flatulence, and diarrhea. Did someone tell you that it could? Are you on any other medications? Worms are most commonly caught via pets, undercooked foods, or walking outside barefoot and stepping in pet waste.

I have been taking lansoprazole for a long time - 15mg white/pinkish colour and they have worked well. Recently my pharmacist gave me a prescription for lansoprazole and the capsules are white/yellow but she insists they are the same capsule. I can tell they are different because they are not working as well as the original capsules. They are manufactured by Actavis in Slovenia and the new tablets are by Actavis also and come from Spain. ## I find the yellow ones make me sick ..the original white ones were fine ## I have found exactly the same. Hi, I'm Curious About Protonix. Ive Been On It For 10 Years Now... Was on it to heal an ulcer in my stomach. I've continued to take them after the 8 week course because it got rid of my very severe heartburn. Is this safe? I only take one early each morning - I NEVER have any heartburn or affects, so I think...any ideas? ## Have you consulted your doctor? I am allergic to Yellow #5 which is used to enhance the appearance of products (mainly food) and causes me to have migraines. Is Yellow 5 in Protonix? HOW LONG pentocid tablet shoud be tacken to treat peptic ulcer and gastritis . ## It really depends on their severity, if they are very bad, such as if both are far enough along that they are bleeding and causing severe pain regularly, it may take 3 to 4 months for them to heal. However, in addition to the medication, you also need to make sure to be careful with your diet. You'll need to avoid anything very spicy or acidic for awhile, including coffee and tea. Alcoholic beverages are another thing you should stay away from for a few months. All of these types of things can just make it worse and slow down the healing process. I have taken P-Sesq 3 times a day during my pregnancy and I am more than 16 weeks pregnant. I was recommended by the dr to take it once daily for 7 days. I am taking it with Onset, as Onset was recommended for 3 times a day as well. So by mistake I took P-Sesq three times a day. So is it risky or dangerous or does it have any side effect?

Just a point I have been taking this drug for near two months and my neck has gone stiff and creaking, grating and cracking like the bones have no cartilage any more and it does nothing for my crushing chest either. I have been taking Pantop 40 for the last 4 months before taking anything else in the morning. I was ok and had no gastric problem. I purchased these tablets in India. Now I am in Australia. I have been prescribed pantoprazole 40mg to take one hour before my evening meal. The pill is small, yellow in colour with no markings. It is manufactured by Teva UK. I have been taking this medication for 16 days now and I'm not sure whether it is working. The reflux, gas and nausea have mostly gone, yet I still feel a dull pressing pain in in my upper stomach area. It is not as frequent as before, but it is still present. Is this normal? Everything I read online says I should be cured by now but I know we are all different and my doctor has prescribed the pills for 8 weeks in total. I have to take zantac150 and i have random drug test at work and ive heard it will make you fail a drug test. I was just concerned. And need to know ASAP! ## It is not a common occurence, but yes, the Ranitidine, which is the active ingredient in Zantac can cause a false positive for Amphetamines, it really depends on the reliability of the test. Wondering what this white round pill with the number 150 on one side, when you flip it over there's a chevron or "v" or ">" shape on the opposite side of the pill. I think it might be generic zantac but i'm not entirely sure ## You are correct. It is generic zantac. I have the same ones.

Hi I was suffering from acidity. Doctor prescribed me Pantocid Hp for two weeks and then Pantocid , and Cintodac for another two weeks.
