I am 57 and my doc has put me on omee for ulcers. Can u tell me if omee also helps with pain? My doc gave me a one week dose for ulcers. I notice it also helps me with pain around my ankles. - Tagamet is a protagonist for some narcotics (like Methadone) and some benzodiazepenes (like Xanax)... Meaning if you take say 800mg of Tagamet 3 hours Before taking your regular Methadone dose, it will make the effects of the Methadone last longer and stronger (< not always stronger if longer acting, but by experience it does with Methadone) But I 'think' I read that Ativan is not one of the Benzos that Tagamet (generic Cimitedine - sp?) will elongate the effects of. I am suffering from severe stomach pain. I think it's a gastric problem so i have taken the pantosec-d sr tablet, but still the pain has not decreased. Can I take pan 40 or pan d during pregnancy? Please advice me. ## There are no studies showing the Pantoprazole is known to be dangerous, during pregnancy, but the NIH does advise that it only be taken by a pregnant woman if no other options work, or if other options are not available. The same applies to the Domperidone in Pan D, it should only be taken if your doctor feels that the benefits to you will outweigh any possible risk. Its typical side effects are listed as possibly including nausea, stomach pain, flatulence, and diarrhea. Are you on any other medications?

I had been having this dry severe cough for years and meeting doctors after doctors still couldn't reach to cure. One has said that I have sensitive nose and has given me budenase spray. One other have diagnosed me with lung infection after an x-ray while the public hospital I have been following through appointments have diagnosed me with gerd and laryngitis and thus giving me pantoprazole which I have been taking for 3 years and to no curing as well. Is ranitidine still safe to take after the expiration/discard date? Mine is 10/10/12. ## Hello, Linda! How are you? Most medications, such as Ranitidine, don't get dangerous when expired, but they do begin to lose efficacy after that point. Thus, the older they are, the less they are going to work.
