Hi, I was placed on a Pylera ten day treatment for H-Pylori, but during the course of the treatment, I felt uncoordinated, dizzy and very ill. On day 9, my left thumb started twitching, along with spasms. I ended up in the E.R. twice, but all they told me that I was ok and it would go away. The left thumb has stopped, thank GOD, but the twitching and muscle spasms have progressed and its been over a month since I immediately stopped taking the Pylera. I also have episodes of feeling uncoordinated, weakness in my legs and a lot of trouble sleeping. I'm wondering if anyone out there has had those same symptoms and what type of doctor was seen for help? ## Have you consulted your regular doctor about this? They really need to look into this and see what's causing the problem. Regul...

I TOOK PANTOP HP KIT A COUSE I AM OK BUT SOME TIME I FEEL MORE ASID IN MY STOMAK SO IS IT WRITE TO TAKE SOME DOSE TO CURE THE ASID ## Hi, Dhiraj! How are you doing? You may not actually need the whole kit, again. The HP kit contains an antibiotic and if it you take it, when you don't need it, then you create the risk of developing antibiotic resistant bacteria. At this point, you might just need an antacid or the PPI, such as the Pantoprazole that's in this. Learn more Pantoprazole details here. Have you consulted your doctor? You need to do so, before you take anything.

by mistake my dad has taken pantodac before and after food.is there any problems as dr.advised to take it only before food.pls advice.. ## Hi, Gul! What is the dosage of the Pantodac tablets? He should double check with his doctor, though I doubt there'll be a problem if he's only took 2 that close together. He may have some more nausea and gastric upset, since it may cause a little trouble digesting his food. Learn more Pantodac details here.

Color: peach, shape: hexagon, number: 75, letter: M ## Hi thizzles, Based on the description provided, the closest match I'm finding is a pink, hexagon tablet imprinted with "W" on one side and "75" on the other. This particular pill is identified as Ranitidine HCL (75 mg); which is used to treat ulcers and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). Is it possible that you may have simply mistaken the W for an M? I hope this helps!

i took pantop hp kit in oct 2012 now i am ok but some time i feel asid in my stomak so it is write to take some dose of pantop hp kit ## Actually, it wouldn't be the full kit that you want, unless your doctor instructs you to take it. Because that also contains an antibiotic to eradicate the H. Pylori bacteria. If you're having an acid problem and a doctor hasn't said you need the antibiotic, then you'd just want the Pantop by itself or some other similar medication. Learn more Pantop details here. It's a proton pump inhibitor that reduces the amount of acid produced by your stomach, but it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, flatulence and stomach pain. I've been taking Pantocid SR 40 for my gas problem and acidity. Just want to know whether it is safe to use this medication for a longer period of time? ## Hi, Ashok! How long have you been taking it? Pantocid SR contains Pantoprazole in a time released formulation, it is a proton pump inhibitor that helps reduce the amount of acid produced by your stomach. And it should only be taken for the period of time your doctor has recommended, usually a maximum of 4 months, because taking them for too long of a time period has been shown to increase the risk of hip fractures.

I used to drink a lot of alcohol. Everytime I was drinking for too many days, there was nausea, tachycardia, feeling heart beats all over my abdomen while resting and loss of appetite, so I assumed taking zantac would cause these symptoms to go away earlier while I'll quit alcohol for a few days to make sure they will. So, two days ago I started taking the pills. I took the first one along with one bottle of whiskey, and then new symptoms started instead of the old ones to go away: I have stomach pain in certain spots. I never knew stomach could cause pain only in a little spot, like it's a blade. The pain was mainly underNEATH my left rib cage and right in the diaphragm, but it would occassionally travel to other certain little spots of my abdomen too, as well as the left side ...

have been taking this med for years mfg,by Sandoz; recently insurance switched me to the same 30 mg, by Dr. Reddy's. since than my blood sugars are running extremely high. Are the ingredients, active/inactive the same. I noticed that one of the inactive by Dr. Reddy's is raw sugar. Could this be the cause of high reading. I went to er on Tuesday and was told I have gastritis but I haven't had the scope test yet to know why. They gave me prevacid and since then I have been nothing but dizzy, jittery, nauseous with headaches and was wondering if there is something else I can take until i get the test on Wednesday. Any feedback would be helpful. ## Hi, Sabrina! Very sorry to hear about the gastritis, that is very miserable pain. How are you feeling today? And as to the scope, that may never explain why you have it, it's almost like getting an ulcer over the entire inside surface of your stomach and it can happen for various reasons, such as an injury in a car wreck or while playing sports, many medications can cause it, as well as heavy drinking and eating highly spicy/acidic foods. came in bottle of heartburn medicine from WalMart. 150mgs of Ranitidine. The prior meds I bought were same bottle, etc, however the pills differ and it concerns me a bit - the first pill marked R150 is pink - the L852 pill (second batch I bought) is almost the color of motrin.....I won't take this until I know it is the right medication. ## Yes, it is the same medication, 150mgs of Ranitidine. These are generic/store brand medications and they do not actually manufacture them, but rather have them packaged for them by a company that does manufacture them and this means that which pills are in their bottles can change, depending on who was offering the best prices at the time of contract renewal. They may even use more than one manufacturer. Are there any other questions? ## I questi...

i was dagonist with bacteria ulcer so can i use h pylori kit to treate it ## Hi, Onyonka! Yes, that is actually what the H. Pylori kit is intended to treat. I'm not sure of the exact medications used in the one you're talking about, but generally they contain a combination of antibiotics and acid reducers to help eradicate the bacteria and heal your gastrointestinal issues. Can you post back with more details on it? If so, I'll gladly let you know what side effects might occur and etc. Thanks!
