The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.

Are you on any other medications?

I wouldn't think it would. Everyone is different but this is a muscle relaxer and therefore has some sedating properties associated with it. If anything I would think it may calm you down some. I've taken it for years and never had an issue with it causing anxiety
