Tizanidine-hcl Drug Info

I was prescribed tizanidine for muscle pain will this medication trigger my anxiety

I wouldn't think it would. Everyone is different but this is a muscle relaxer and therefore has some sedating properties associated with it. If anything I would think it may calm you down some. I've taken it for years and never had an issue with it causing anxiety

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.
