It is used for people who have problems with their thyroid. ## Yes i take that dose myself, i actually take 2 doses between 1mg and 88mg. My thyroid doctor is trying to get me on the right dose right now for my tsh level. I want to be on 1mg, cause i feel my body works better with that dose but he feels that is too high for me. Hi everyone, I am curious if anyone has experienced intermittent vision loss while being on levothyroxine. For about two months now my vision in my left eye will randomly disappear for 2-3 seconds and then slowly dissipate back to normal. I've been through a litany of exams -- retinal, cardiovascular, MRI/MRA -- that are all coming back clear and now we're wondering if it could be the medications I am on. Nature Throid is my prescribed thyroid med. One side of the pill says RLC and the other has N150. Sir, I am under thyroid treatment from Dec 22, 2016 taking 50 mcg thyronorm with T3-106ng/DL, T4-7.8ng/DL ad TSH-5.01ulu/ml. My periods are irregular varying as 31,25,39 even after taking 50 mcg. I am about to start on Synthroid, and was wondering if anyone ever went off it once they went on -- would your symptoms be the same as they were before, just not better as they (hopefully) were on Synthroid? I'm leery of having to be on medication for the rest of my life ... wondering if it's worth it to just put up with the symptoms unless they get intolerable. ## My wife was on Synthroid for 6 years. Why are woman prescribed levothyroxine more often than men? ## Women are the ones that most commonly develop thyroid issues, at least according to NIH studies, though I supposed it is possible that they may also just see a doctor more often and end up being diagnosed more than men. I have been taking tramazac co 37.5 mg since June 2016. I was given them initially for a hernia op. I continued taking them and in February 2017 I had a back op and was prescribed them again. I was taking 2 in the mornings and 2 in the afternoons and tramazac SR 200 at night. Now I am trying to get off the tramazac co 37.5 mg during the day. I have cut them down to 1 per day. Since cutting down on the 37.5 mg per day I am feeling extremely and abnormally fatigued especially round about the time I was taking 2 per day in the afternoons. I have been taking 1 per day now for a week and I want to continue with 1 per day until I am completely weaned off of them, but how do I overcome the extreme fatigue?
