UpdatedYes I will like to know if this is uses for thyroid illness ## Hello, George! How are you? No, the FDA classifies this as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. It will not treat thyroid conditions. The only time it may be given is if someone has thyroid cancer and is in pain from it. Is there anything else I can help with?

I want to make sure these pills work together not against each other. My blood pressure is in the range of 165/89 still and I feel dizzy. ## Hello, Pat! How are you? For lowering your blood pressure, the two that work together here are the Lisinopril and the Furosemide. It will take awhile for them to reach their full levels of effectiveness in your body to see how well they work for you. Do you also watch your sodium intake and get plenty of exercise?

I have taken thyroid medicine for most of my life, but just recently I have noticed that my Synthroid , 100 Mcg pill has a sugary, sweet taste to it. Why has this occurred, and what exactly is the reason for it? ## Hello, Einnor! How are you? Some manufactured use sugars or a sweetener in some medications. What are the markings on it? That would enable me to check the specific ingredients for you. However, you also should not be tasting your pill. If you're tasting it, then you're not taking it properly. The pill should be placed as far back on your tongue, as possible, short of choking on it and then immediately swallowed with water.
