I had my first 25 mcg dose of Levothyroxine on Friday. It was intolerable, I had brain fog, severe headache, I felt drugged and confused. I had to leave work and when I got home I stayed in bed for 5 hours because I couldn't function. I also took a large dose of vitamin D that was prescribed. I don't know what to do. I can't live like a lab rat.

Hello, Angela! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problems you experienced.
Those can be normal side effects of this medication, as listed by the FDA, but they should improve with time, as your body gets used to the medication. You may also experience irritability, weight changes and hair loss.
Have you informed your doctor? When do you see them, again?
