I started taking this medicine 3 weeks ago and wondering if it is suppose to make me gain weight?

No, this one usually causes weight loss, rather than gain, in most people that take it.

Other side effects, as listed by the FDA, may possibly include nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, headache and palpitations.
