I'm seeking insights and reviews on Teva Lorazepam and its comparison with Leading Pharma's version. There's a notable divide in user experiences. Some report Leading Pharma Lorazepam as being less effective or having no effect, possibly due to variations in the active ingredient, leading to side effects or adverse reactions in certain cases.

While there are those who recommend Teva Lorazepam for its efficacy, others find Leading Pharma's version more suitable. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to try Teva Lorazepam since it's not available in my area – no local pharmacies dispense it.

My experience with other brands, post the discontinuation of Qualitest, hasn't been successful in finding a comparable alternative. I'm particularly interested in understanding how Teva Lorazepam and Leading Pharma's lorazepam differ in terms of effectiveness and user satisfaction.

If you've had experiences with either or both of these medications, your reviews would be incredibly valuable. Any insights into their efficacy, side effects, or overall satisfaction would greatly help me and others in our decisions.

I am here because I picked up a refill. .5 at night; .25 during the morning and afternoon.
After a week, I was REALLY dragging.

We just finished a month-long, stressful move. I assumed this was to blame.

Morning dose: I’m looking for a 3rd coffee refill. After-lunch dose: I’m struggling to collect my thoughts in conversation.

Checked my bottle: They changed me from Aurobindo to Teva. It feels like I’m taking twice the dose.

I'm being taken off against my will. It's not a 10% reduction. It's some military conversion chart that they use. There's no room to wiggle. I'm looking for someone new and have been speaking to a legal team. I never heard of the website you posted. Hit to the heart the testimonies many folks have spoken about being taken off abruptly. I have read a lot about the Ashton taper over the years. Lady knew what she was doing. Peace!

The key word is addictive. Many new providers only see that as a bad thing. What they won't allow themselves to see is the alternatives are not all for everyone. (SSRI's, SNRI's, beta blockers and so on) Which when we say this we might get labeled a addicted drug abuser. If pharmaceutical companies are allowed to make drugs ingredients either greater or less that can put many of us in a tailspin. Which then raises their eyebrow if we're telling them hey doc something is off here. The new docs aren't listening to their patients. They go by what the FDA says.That all generics are made equal to brand names. So ya when the doc Browns that used to use their common sense heard their patients say man this medication isn't working they'd take the time to research why. Took my doc and pharmacist back in the beginning to say he needs to go back to brand name. But the most important thing here that stigmatizes us are those that use this medication outside of what they are prescribed for. I'm really trying not to repeat myself here. But we get cubby hold into the mainstream world that actually over uses this medication. Bottom line is this medication is naturally addictive. We didn't make it that way. My feeling have always been this. If the bottle say do not abruptly stop this medication without consulting your doctor that's not addiction. We all know what true addiction is without me saying anything else. The two do not go hand in hand. Peace y'all!

If you're being taken off, depending on the milligrams you're on, make small cuts. Nothing shorter than a 10-month taper, and I doubt you will even be able to handle that, at only 10 percent per month. Read the Ashton Manual. Get a scale that weighs out in 0.000 grams so you can shave the pills and do very small cuts; this way, you will not be going through hell. If a doctor is forcing you off, I would suggest finding a 'benzo smart' doctor who will taper you slowly. I'm aware of that fact. But I still believe the fillers are what jack us up. Depending on how the pill is formulated that factor plays a huge roll on how it works. But be grateful you're not in actual withdrawals with nothing at all. Also not being taken off lorazepam. Because that day can come. We all know pharmaceutical companies are dumbing down the worlds meds. And we all know why. We can complain all we want but we'll never change anything. That's not a defeatist attitude on my part, it's just the truth. I've been doing this dance since 1983. Back then brand was brand and it worked great. Peace y'all!

its not the fillers .... your obviously not aware of the FDA laws in places... the active ingredient can be up to 20% less in Bioequivalence and bioavailability from name brand to generic pills its not in our head or the fillers you could go from one manufacturer to the next and be cutting your dose...

Jibbs...it's simple.....unless you are buying brand name Ativan, there is little money to be made or kickback from prescribing old cheap meds (oh no, docs wouldn't do that, lol...just take a look at the statin industry).......docs as we knew them as kids just don't exist any more. They used to handle everything from a common cold to getting you into a hospital if needed..... and they weren't limited to a 10 minute exam by corporate/groups....they took as long as they needed to examine you and talk with you. The "Groups" have utterly destroyed Medical Practices as they must show PROFIT. The Groups don't give a rats ass about the patient just as long as they keep coming in so they can be referred to 'specialists' who do exactly what 'ol 'doc Brown' did for his patients but with fancier equipment to give the same result.....instead of having the flu...now through specialists we get to know which strain of the flu virus we have.......all this relates to benzos..... they had a few long term that worked (valium for instance) but only over the long term....and a few later on that really did quell anxiety that were short term like ativan.....but like it or not- they are addictive.....but then again.....diabetics are 'addicted' to Metformin, heart patients to their beta blockers, etc...but maybe it's just necessary to take an addictive medication to get through life.

I honestly don't see a difference in Leading or Teva. They both work about the same for me. (Which isn't saying much) Aurobindo was the second best from Mylan. Try detoxing off Leading or Teva. It's a barrel of monkeys. Y'all would know your in true withdrawals if they actually gave you a sugar pill. You can take that to the bank. We all know by now it's the fillers and our body chemistry that makes one better than the other. I personally do not believe it's in our heads. For me Valium does not work very long at all. It may remain in your system longer but it's only a short lived relief of anxiety with me. Still trying to get over my pdocs logic. That nobody needs to be on a benzo. Yah sure. I looked up all the meds he'd like to retry me on and they have the same concern for any age doing damage to our internal organs along with dementia. This is the lie they will tell you folks. You ever wonder what our doctors take for medication to keep them calm down? I've read quite a few articles of doctors and nurses taking the same meds we're on. Don't do as I do, do as I say. Yup. Would love to know the answer to this and if leading pharma has actually changed. I had to switch to it after they quit making Qualitest. I went into withdrawal on it. If it were a good product, I'd have no problem but you're right... it was absolute garbage!

It's still garbage. Big Pharma has been putting 233 million into Washington every year since 1998. What do you think they get in return? Spineless representatives in Washington and an FDA that does absolutely nothing.

I had Leading after 2018...in fact I have it currently.......other than its sweetish taste and its thickness, I see no difference between Teva and Leading but neither are as good as Watson pre-2013. Just my impression...remember-everyone responds differently to the inactive fillers....not necessarily the fillers themselves but how they either enhance or inhibit the active ingredient getting into your system.

Richard see I wouldn't know because the watson I was put on in the beginning was actavis... I did read the leading changed there formula can anyone confirm this.... last time I had leading was 8 of 2018. And it was garbage

For what it's worth...the Watson that you actually liked....hasn't been the real Watson since 2013 when Actavis bought them out (molds and all) and continued using those molds right up until Teva bought THEM out....whether the formula remained the same as the original Watson, I don't know.
