Teva Lorazepam Reviews

I'm seeking insights and reviews on Teva Lorazepam and its comparison with Leading Pharma's version. There's a notable divide in user experiences. Some report Leading Pharma Lorazepam as being less effective or having no effect, possibly due to variations in the active ingredient, leading to side effects or adverse reactions in certain cases.

While there are those who recommend Teva Lorazepam for its efficacy, others find Leading Pharma's version more suitable. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to try Teva Lorazepam since it's not available in my area – no local pharmacies dispense it.

My experience with other brands, post the discontinuation of Qualitest, hasn't been successful in finding a comparable alternative. I'm particularly interested in understanding how Teva Lorazepam and Leading Pharma's lorazepam differ in terms of effectiveness and user satisfaction.

If you've had experiences with either or both of these medications, your reviews would be incredibly valuable. Any insights into their efficacy, side effects, or overall satisfaction would greatly help me and others in our decisions.

For some reason doctors seem to have forgotten the concept of "do no harm".. if a patient has been taking a certain prescribed effective medicine, it just cruel to take them off it in order to "try" something "they" think is as or more effective against anxiety. I saw this happen with SSRI's. They may be effective for some but not many benzo users. Any anti anxiety effects from SSRI's are side effects. People I know whose doctors have switched them to avoid the paperwork involved with benzodiazepines have found the SSRI's ineffective after a fashion AND they become addictive. So where was the gain? Oh, the doctors have less paperwork and the patient has to find a doctor educated enough to know certain meds are far more effective (benzos) for treating anxiety. Yes, they are both physically and mentally addictive but shouldn't that choice be left up to the patient? A close friend has had type 2 diabetes for years. He says his body is 'addicted' to Metformin. Yet no one complains.

That's where I get Teva.
So far they are ordering for me.

My Doctor put on script Teva only.

Ive been on this for 30 plus years and I was fine in Minnesota getting it. My doctor gave it to me, and then we moved to Arizona, we were snow birds. We moved out here full-time and that's when the trouble hit it's like what is going on. It was 2018 I think. To make a long story short. I really want to move back to California. The Central Coast, what's holding me back is trying to find someone that would give me this medicine and it's difficult. I've called a couple psychology places. I have to go up there and have an appointment and talk to them and get records transferred. Oh boy anyway fun and games.

Def something wrong with leading..i felt like i was withdrawing when i took it.. didn't realize they had quit making Qualitest and didn't realize they just stuck me with leading only to find out EVERY pharmacy around here only offers leading unless you can find a pharmacy that will special order for you, which i did... but i believe my brand has changed in the last few years.. id rather use teva..

Watson was sold to Actavis, molds and all....so many people were taking "Watson" that was really Actavis but along with the molds they also bought the formula so essentially it was Watson. To me, it wasn't as strong. I had been taking Watson for over a decade so when I felt something had changed- I found out it had been from a knowledgeable pharmacist. When Teva first came out I heard it was "Watson>Actavis" in nature but I never could find exactly what "in nature" meant. I do know Teva was originally was made in Israel but eventually for international distribution it was outsourced to the Czech Republic. I don't know if that has changed. But I find it quite effective.

Leading pharma is not as effective for me as Teva. Thankfully, my doctor put on the prescription teva only and so far, my drugstore is ordering it for me.

Watson used to be my choice, and I don't want to happen to them l. They were sold, but teva works fine.

Walgreens can obtain Teva even if they don't currently stock it. Insist on it telling them you are allergic to the Leading fillers (they are different). I found Walgreen pharmacists most cooperative ordering Teva.

I'm hoping for a class action lawsuit. Any lawyers want to take a stab at this? I took leading pharma for 6 days and was almost dead from no sleep. Try going for no sleep for that long

Teva lorazapam is good.Leading pharma lorazapam will lead you into grand mall seizures and death in about 6 days.I know leading pharma does not work. someone is getting paid off.Why have they recalled over a million tablets in 8 months.I even went to several hospitals and thats all they had.Some wrongfull death lawsuits will be in our future

Eatson was first bought out by Actavis (they didn't even bother changing the molds..it still said "Watson" on the pills...just fuzzier..and the pills were a bit whiter...but then Teva bought out Activis's lorazepam...don't know if they changed much other than the mold. Watson was the best generic for me too...before that, insurance covered the name brand when Wyeth made it.....great meds but I hear from those who take the name brand since someone else makes it, it's not as good. Very sade all around.

ivetaken teva for years and leading pharma lorasapam just dosent work thus seisure time for sure.teva,my 4th 90 days seems a little off at2mg.per night.they might have reduced content.sorry i cant have more info,but do stay away from leading pharma.

Yes agree. I have been on this drug for 30 years.

Leading Pharma was sent to me thru my mail order Humana years ago And I definitely had issues with it. I actually called the company and had to send back a bottle so their lab could check it out. They came back to me with "there is nothing wrong" I forget exactly what they said but came to the conclusion they were not using the full amount of the drug and the rest fillers. I guess there is a range companies can use of the actually drug. I stayed away from mail order and used Walmart who had Watson at the time. Then they were bought out.

It's a struggle. I am getting Teva from Walgreens now. It seems to be working somewhat but not as good as Watson. Possibly it's my brain. ??

I use TEVA lorazepam, however sometimes they work and other times they don’t. From researching other brands they state that some companies are deviating from the actual formula. There should be more oversight into this. I tried Mylan many years ago and found it to be the best however after it was discontinued everything has gone down hill. At times I think placebo pills are thrown into the mix. I view this as a money maker scam. We have to be more diligent about the manufacturing company and the effect they have on us.

Thanks, i will look them up...my wife gets nervous when i talk of death preferable to going without...I don't THINK I would off myself but then I remember a doc I had took me off valium for 3 weeks in a clinic/hospital.......cold turkey.....worst experience of my life.....then after 30 days he offered EST.....on treatment #8 I was awake..somebody screwed up....I couldn't breath and eventually passed out because I couldn't mpve a muscle to tell them I'M AWAKE.....When i awoke I screamed across the recovery room...hey Dr **** (his not, not a 4-letter word)...YOU'RE FIRED"......in one hour I was given a new doc...guess what they gave me..valium (same dose I was on when I went in for help).....yes, benzos are addictive. So are many SSRI's to some people....so is Metformin for diabetics and beta blockers for heart patients...let the patients and doctors decide..not the government!

I'm same age and my neurologist said my brain is locked in with it. During my weaning off I had some type of weird event. So as I said I'm currently on 4 mg a day. I think I was up to 6 years ago. I honestly did not know about how this drug was addictive until the Doctors wouldn't prescribe and I ended up in the ER. Scary deal. Good luck.

Unfortunately i wasn't given much of a choice. The ER injected valium in 1967 but the psychiatrist i was told to go see tried a variety of heavy duty psychotropic drugs...all of which made my anxiety worse...then a psychiatrist in a clinic asked me what if anything ever worked. I told him about the valium in the ER. He immediately prescribed it and i took it for about 15 years when my then psychiatrist was retiring and didn't want his patuents on an addictive drug, he showed me a pamphlet put out by Wyeth touting their 'non-addictive' benzo, Ativan. So we all know how that turned out...sure wish i had kept that pamphlet given to my doc by a Wyeth Rep. Soon I'll be searching again for a new doc. My pcp and my cbt therapist both told me at 78, after taking my dose (2mg 3x day for 42 years....that even attempting to wean could kill me much less wrecking whatever amounts to the rest of my life.....and my wifes too...I'm her caregiver as she is paraplegic and cannot do much for herself
