Teva Lorazepam Reviews (Page 17) (Top voted first)
UpdatedI'm seeking insights and reviews on Teva Lorazepam and its comparison with Leading Pharma's version. There's a notable divide in user experiences. Some report Leading Pharma Lorazepam as being less effective or having no effect, possibly due to variations in the active ingredient, leading to side effects or adverse reactions in certain cases.
While there are those who recommend Teva Lorazepam for its efficacy, others find Leading Pharma's version more suitable. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to try Teva Lorazepam since it's not available in my area – no local pharmacies dispense it.
My experience with other brands, post the discontinuation of Qualitest, hasn't been successful in finding a comparable alternative. I'm particularly interested in understanding how Teva Lorazepam and Leading Pharma's lorazepam differ in terms of effectiveness and user satisfaction.
If you've had experiences with either or both of these medications, your reviews would be incredibly valuable. Any insights into their efficacy, side effects, or overall satisfaction would greatly help me and others in our decisions.
Re: Leebs (# 143)
Update. Current shortage of Actavis Lorazepam. Pharmacy switched to Leading. Initially was a little jittery, but has since been as effective as Actavis for me.
Re: JP (# 146)
Is it aurobindo or Eaton?
Re: Lou (# 2)
I agree. I’ve gotten it twice in 6 years, once from CVS and today from Rite Aide. Was surprised, Rite Aide usually has quality products. It is a sugar pill.
Re: A1sauce81 (# 147)
It is Aurobindo
Re: Richard (# 151)
Was switched to Leading after my Rite Aid in NJ switched from Activis 3 weeks ago (temporarily I hope). Not quite as effective as effective, but for me not terrible. I know Teva had a shortage, but product is supposed to start shipping this month.
I had the bad experience with Trazadone going from Qualitest to Teva. Good luck!
Used to take Actavis 0.5mg for years. Only recently noticed my pharmacy changed it to Leading manufacturer in the past couple months. Didn't think anything of it but after only needing half to 1 pill and rarely ever needing a whole pill I'm finding this stuff feels like a sugar pill...not really really feeling much with even taking one and a half pills! WTF! So damn frustrating.
Re: Leebs (# 160)
Hey, thanks for sharing...really appreciate it. Now I'm even more baffled if you say it's wirking okay for you. Maybe it *is* just me and my anxiety is just not responding anymore to lorazepam like it was. At any rate, i found a CVS near me that uses the Aurobindo brand, so my doc called in an Rx for me there...hopefully it isn't any worse. Fingers crossed. Thank you again for the kind reply. ?? Best to you.
Re: Jen (# 164)
Does anyone know which chain is carrying the Aurobindo or Actavis? My pharmacy is Rite Aid and they switched to Leading 3 months ago... Leading has not been horrible, but Actavis was a little more effective and haven’t tried Aurobindo. I’m in New Jersey....
Thanks
Re: Leebs (# 165)
I'm in MA and the CVS near me stocks the Aurobindo lorazepam. I called a few pharmacies, chain amd and independent and they were all carrying the Leading brand due to a lorazepam shortage/backorder apparently. I wouldn't give up on asking a CVS or an independent pharmacy to try and special order it, my Walgreens usually does that for me but mot for this. My next step was to see if I could get it from CanadaRx as I've ordered meds(not lorazepam, just SSRIs) in the past from them. You still need a legit Rx from a doctor but at least you know what you're getting and it doesn't break the bank. Now that I'm writing this though, not sure you could get Lorazepam over the border since it's a controlled substance. Might be worth looking into though. Hope this helps. Good luck.
Re: Lou (# 2)
I was searching to find someone with this same problem!!! I feel like I’ve been given fake Ativan!!!! This brand does not work AT ALL! It’s like taking a damn sugar pill!

Many therapists have lost their way like burnt out due to pandemic? Because damn, i cannot find a therapist anywhere who is taking new patients, booked to the gills or has a long waiting list of people trying to get in. I know the therapust i had been talking with seems checked out, she even told me she was. A sign of the times I suppose.
Re: Jen (# 168)
Has anyone been able to find Actavis or Aurobindo Lorazapem? In New Jersey and Rite Aid only carries Leading. Tolerable, but the others are slightly better.
Thanks everyone
Re: Leebs (# 175)
Costco has had Actavis for several years.
Re: Ken (# 6)
Yes he definitely yes the pills are useless and actually make me get up and Clean my house instead of going to sleep someone needs to stop this company from ripping off people
contact the fda, this is the only way to fix this issue once and for all
Re: LadyGreenEyes8 (# 18)
This is a couple of years late, but...Walgreens stuck me with this brand, and that's the first thing I thought - file a complaint with the FDA. They should not be in business.
Re: Verwon (# 1)
Leading pharma lorazepam 3 mg at night, 18 years went from 2 to 3 over the years, not working!
Re: Scott E (# 181)
The Only one that works is Mylan. Aurobindo or AEROLIFE TABLETS ONLY HAVE A SMALL AMOUNT OF THE ACTIVE INGREDIENT.
I TAKE A 2 MG TABLET FROM A CVS STORE (I WILL NOT SHOP CVS ANYMORE FOR VARIOUS REASONS, TOO EXPENSIVE) AND I have found that Aurobindo or Aurolife purity is SACRIFICED. In other words the one that CVS had just problems with other medicines that this company makes including generic Augmentin - the purity of the drug is almost non-existent.
I reported this to the FDA 6 months ago. The Lorazepam tablets that are 2 mg or something like 0.25% that's all I can tell because I've been taking the drug for 30 years this this company is a rip off. As the other pharmaceutical Walmart wanted to sell this leading brand out of Michigan or whatever they call them leading Pharmaceuticals in they're just as bad, probably much worse. It's like taking a placebo pill. I never took the leading brand but this is hearsay from other people and I believe them I will not take leading either. The best generic is Mylan.
Re: Charles (# 185)
I currently take Aurobindo, it’s not terrible.. but not as effective as Actavis (Teva). Mylan discontinued Lorazapem some time ago. And Leading for me is probably the least effective.
