Teva Lorazepam Reviews (Page 14)
UpdatedI'm seeking insights and reviews on Teva Lorazepam and its comparison with Leading Pharma's version. There's a notable divide in user experiences. Some report Leading Pharma Lorazepam as being less effective or having no effect, possibly due to variations in the active ingredient, leading to side effects or adverse reactions in certain cases.
While there are those who recommend Teva Lorazepam for its efficacy, others find Leading Pharma's version more suitable. Unfortunately, I haven't had the opportunity to try Teva Lorazepam since it's not available in my area – no local pharmacies dispense it.
My experience with other brands, post the discontinuation of Qualitest, hasn't been successful in finding a comparable alternative. I'm particularly interested in understanding how Teva Lorazepam and Leading Pharma's lorazepam differ in terms of effectiveness and user satisfaction.
If you've had experiences with either or both of these medications, your reviews would be incredibly valuable. Any insights into their efficacy, side effects, or overall satisfaction would greatly help me and others in our decisions.

Lorazepam Rock ,and as a professional,I'm right
Re: the pharmacist (# 261)
called teva again today they said what forumla i had was either outdated or for another company they gave me the same formula from the waston/actavis for inactive ingredients i dont know what to say ..... ?????
I tried the new Teva brand today and I have no issues. Very similar to watson/activas maybe even slightly better. Don't focus on the negative. Thank you Richard for your positive input
Re: BeccaDuncan333 (# 263)
You are quite welcome. I'm happy for you...remember to NOT focus on feelings....they just make us more anxious.
Re: Richard h (# 264)
maybe its all in our heads ? according to teva n i call 3 times it the same pill even all the inactive ingredients are the same
It's been a couple days and my body is still adjusting. I noticed when I come down I have terrible headaches and it does make my stomach hurt a little. It could be a lot worse and it is still better than Leading brand. Richard is right, I need to not focus on every little sensation and stay busy. I was very used to taking actavis/Watson brand and miss it. The mind is a powerful thing, so if we put it in our minds that it is not going to work and only think negatively then that's what we are going to notice. I am in no way minimizing any symptoms that people deal with. Medications affect all individuals differently and some are more sensitive to the inactive fillers. Wishing everyone the best
Re: BeccaDuncan333 (# 266)
beccaduncan the inactive fillers are the same as watson.actavis teva uses the same exact ones
Re: gsrmike98 (# 265)
Don't forget where much of anxiety disorder comes from .....hint: (.it's not our toenails)....
Re: gsrmike98 (# 265)
sorry but its not in the head, if it was the same exact pill they could have kept the same size, etc, the same exact pill would create the same effect on you, been through this before, they tell you its the same but its a flat out lie, sandoz tried that garbage on me years ago, they had to shut down after a while because they couldnt get to believe their lies, try and keep an open mind but dont be afraid to call it like it is, when i read some comments about someone who says that the med is the same i accept the fact that some people can take just about anything but most of us realize that at points like teva taking over activus, teva has made a change, look at the adderal complaints about teva, same issue, the product doesnt work
joe calling it like you see it is the truth teva most likely made changes at the same time every ones body will adjust in some time.. i start tomorrow if there is a change my body will pick up on it just like it did when i got switch to the leading brand ...... and your right about some people can take anything as well and other are very sensative to change
Re: gsrmike98 (# 270)
best of luck, let us know what you discover
Re: joe (# 271)
i also have to say that the fillers may effect people differently because of pill size as well i take 0.5 which is tiny compaired to the 1mg pill the 1 mg pill is 4x the size of the 0.5 so i a guess the majority of the pill is fillers the higher the mg
Re: gsrmike98 (# 272)
i agree with becca i just took my second dose the pill seems to me at least to be a bit stronger then the watson/actavis side effects for me were a come down headache pretty bad one and also some flusing of my skin ..... hopefully i my body adjust within a few days and it will be back to normal i check back in a post again to give an update
Re: gsrmike98 (# 272)
the activus 0.5 was worthless, i have been on the 1 mg for over 30 years, no issues but try putting two 0.5 mg together and you get nothing, i got rid of my doctor over this, i told him never to prescribe the 0.5, one day he did and he was history
Re: joe (# 274)
I have been on Ativan 3 mg per day for about 20 years and the only one that works for me is Watson. My pharmacist now only has Leading and Teva. Leading is worthless and caused worse anxiety/panic and I have Teva and am reluctant to try it, anyone have any good experiences with Teva? Thanks
Re: Michael (# 275)
ive been on ativan for 9 years have been on watson mylan actavis leading now teva......... the teva in my opinion is a lot stronger the actavis/watson stamped pill it has been 4 days since i switched and the pill is jusy to strong..... i can barley function i feel drugged and weak and tired all day
Re: gsrmike98 (# 276)
Hi Mike, how many mg are you taking? I think if you were used to Actavis/Watson; IMO those seem to have gotten weaker and weaker. I’m sorry to hear about the side effects are you experiencing. Switching meds/mfrs for anyone with anxiety/panic disorder is so challenging.
Terrible, doesn’t work.
I can tell you all from my experience with the lorazepam generic wars the best generic as of lately is Aurobindo. Mylan was the best. Mylan for me was better then the brand name Ativan that Bausch + Lomb says is brand. It's is not it's a generic to. You all can say it's brand but it is not. Wyeth-Ayerst made the original brand Ativan. Sold it to Biovail around 2004. They turned it into a generic. That's where the BP imprint on the pill came from. Leading brand for a short time was producing a generic last year that was pretty good. But they've since gone back to the trash they originally were making. Here's a challenge for you all. If you have two different brands at your disposal have a friend or family member dilute each one in a small dixie cup without telling you which one it is. See how you feel within 15-30 minutes. Telling you all you'll know which is which. Keeping your mind busy might work for a short period but that's only a temporary fix. Been there done that. Here's something else that might work. Look into TMS treatment. I've been reading it's been successful for anxiety and depression. Also Alpha Stim helps as well. But trust me when I tell you try the Dixie cup challenge. You'll know for a fact what you've taken. Best wishes to you all.
Re: Wilson777 (# 279)
About 5 years ago I did something similar to the Dixie cup experiment....I had a couple original Watsons left over from another old prescription and also a few leftover counterfeit Watsons (imprint but was fuzzy and tablet was whiter, plus mfg on label said 'Actavis' and the new prescription I had just gotten made by Leading). That is when I discovered this forum wondering what Leading was all about - and found it was loathed here and I though..."oh...s***"... back to the experiment. As you may have experienced, lorazepam dissolves rather quickly with saliva obliterating its markings and size....so when put under the tongue you leave it there for 15-20 seconds then drink water to swallow the nearly dissolved tablet. So for two days (I know, not an extensive test), I had my wife choose and keep a record of which tablet she put under my tongue.....Over the next few hours I would record how I felt while trying to remain as busy as possible so I wasn't TOO aware of my sensations. At the end of 2 days (and my leftover generics), I found little if any difference between the generics. Granted, not every hour of those two days were equal in stress, deadlines, or disagreements which would affect how I judged my anxiety... but if I HAD to choose, I would put the original Watson a hairline better than the other two...but it turned out my wife gave me the Watsons at probably two of the least stressful hours I had those days....which occurred at different times.
