Hi I'm currently prescribed 10mg subutex. I''ve now got to give urine samples and here's my problem - I'm dual using opiods and subutex. Luckily they're not gona supervise me when i've got to do the samples. I can get a clean urine sample but there's no question of me getting the 'clean' person to have any subbies in their system. So my question is this - if I get the clean urine sample and dissolve a bit of subutex in the urine sample will the test show accurate (i.e. positive for subutex but nothing else)? The test won't be able to show that the subbies haven't been metabolised through a human system or anything will it? Thanks!

I've been taking a high dose of Methadone for the last 5 years around 100 mg. My last dose was Sunday of Methadone, and I went to the hospital last night and they gave me 8 mg of Morphine. I now have my prescription for Subutex 8 mg tablets. So I have been in withdrawal from Methadone for 4 full days, and its been over 12 hours from taking the Morphine. Am I safe to take Subutex? I have been in serious, serious withdrawals, reason why I was in the hospital... It took 2 & 1/2 things of fluids to get me hydrated again, I was experiencing it all. i have been diagnosed with having a tumor that needs to be removed i am worried about if something were to happen suddenly that i would be unable to have surgery do to the blockades of nioxin that suboxon has and not subutex is this correct ## Suboxone has Buprenorphine & Naloxone in it. The Naloxone will partially or completely reverse any narcotic effects. Subutex only has Buprenorphine. I have chronic pain & have been on Subutex for years (34 mg per day) & have had a couple of operations in this time. I believe you would be much better off on Subutex. It would be worth talking to your Doctor about your concerns. I am currently 8 months preg. Throughout preg. Dropped from 8mg subutex to 1-2 mg daily and spoke to hospital doc and OB hosp. Doc said I can stop if I feel comfortable since im on such low dose. Clinics say baby can have seizures only true w. Methadone patients and if u drop drastically but do what ur confortable with.. Day 2 no subutex minor fatigue,chills but overall fine mostly mental...trying to avoid a DSS visit in hospital when baby delivered hope sub is out of system within nxt 6 weeks. ## Congratulations on the baby and I hope this continues to go well for you. I switched last week Sunday(today is Saturday 6 days later) from a daily dose of 60mg methadone to a daily dose of 8mg suboxone. I went 4 days of detox hell and even though I thought I was going to absolutely die, I did it because I thought that switching to subo was a better option than the many downfalls of daily trips to the methadone clinic. I have taken subo before and it worked well, gave me that energetic upbeat feeling that methadone gave me. Made me feel good, but normal good. Well, since I started the suboxone again a couple days ago I feel NOTHING. I feel tired, achy, no energy, and no lil boost of pep like I did on the methadone and like I did the last time on subo. I just found out I pregnant little over a week ago and I'm addicted to suboxone! I haven't seen a doctor yet. Do I tell my obgyn this? Or get a subutex doctor first? I really don't want either but I have read so many bad things about quitting cold turkey! I was told this was a 2mg subutex, however I can not seem to find an answer. The pill is white, round and has an imprint of a triangle with a little pentagon attached to the bottom. Was on methadone fir 3 months and I've been off of it fir 1 month but I've been doing other opiates to get me through the withdrawal. I found a round bigger peach color pill no markings, not scored. I heard dealers can remove markings? My daughter tells me they are street subutex? ## Unfortunately, with no markings, it's going to be difficult to determine what it is with certainly. Hey everyone ok....so i live in Maryland and i applied for a job with a plastics/chemical company in South-Eastern Texas. I have been clean from all drugs for years now except for Subutecs. I have been prescribed subutecs for probably 4 years now and am 100% sure thats the only thing in my system. I have to take a drug test friday and this is my question....should i give them the letter from my doc saying I'm on it and risk not getting the job because of it or should i not tell them because I'm hearing that for the most part it doesn't show up.
