I take 24 mg subutux, I was told to stop taking it 2 days prior to surgery an was prescribed 10 mg oxycodone 4 times a day for withdrawel. I has surugery yesterday and was told to double the oxygen and take 20 mg every 4 hours. l I can not sleep I am in withdrawel and in agony. ## Did you contact your doctor? The Buprenorphine in Subutex is a very strong narcotic opiate, so you might not be on a high enough dosage of the Oxycodone to actually help. I can understand their not wanting you to take it for surgery, but did they say why they didn't want you going back on it afterwards? It can handle pain and would have avoided these types of problems. ## I feel awful for you have you told them yet...if so go to the er!

Son has Hip C and needs treatment. He is also on Subutex (3 per day) . At night, he seems to become off balance and experiences confusion. Is this a normal side affect? ## Hello, Grace! How is he doing? Did you mean Hepatitis C? Does he take the Subutex for addiction treatment? If so, those may be withdrawal symptoms and he may need a bit of a higher dose.

Hiya I was on up to 50 tablets of co codamol 30/500mg a day for many years, I finally this year said enought was enough and decided to get help after going to my docter I got refured to my local unity clinic were I was prescribed subutex (buprenorphine) 8mg, day 3 was the worst day of my life I was so ill I genuinely thought I was going to die I thought subutex was evil I wanted to give up my husband persuaded me not to thankfully I listened by day 5 I felt like a new person, I am now on day 11, I still feel ok but after speaking to my key worker she is going to increase the subutex I take as I am starting to feel some withdrawal symptoms, as I don't no any1 in this similar situation I wud be very greatful if any one had any advice on the level of subutex my body may be happy on? as...

I hurt my back sunday at work which and im in alot of pain . I was afraid to tell my employer of fear that he might lay me off or tell me take time off. I have no insurance i cant afford a hospital visit. So my freind gave me something called a subutex to help with pain it made me horribly sick. My wife told me when in go back to work saturday report it to my boss but im afraid the subutext will show up in my system and il lose my job if i report my injury bcuz il be subjected to a drug test. Im supposed to take subutex every day. I havent taken any in 10days. I have to give a UA for my doctor to make sure im taking it. If i take .5mg of subutex on monday at 8am. Ive been using opiates for a few years now and im just gettin sick and tired of the bull thats involved with it. I cop my pills illegally and its only a matter of time before something happens. My tolerance levels are threw the roof and im looking to use subutex to get threw the day. I dont even get high anymore unless i do an excessive amount. Im looking into subutex so i can have energy to work. I work a very physically demanding job and unless i am on opiates i have no drive to get things done when i am working.
