I am on suboxone and i took a subutex. Will it show up the same on a urine test on Tuesday or will it be out by then? ## Just wondering because I have a test coming on Tuesday and I just would like to no if they come up the same??? i was told yes and also was told it would be out by Tuesday at 3 anyways???? ## ????? I guess no one else knew??lol ..did your test come out ok?

I just found out I am pregnant and im an addict. I have an appointment with a dr to get detox meds which will be either subutex or suboxone but ive heard one is better than the other for when you are pregnant. As to which is better, I did some research and found out that both have been used successfully during pregnancy, though Subutex is often preferred since it doesn't contain the Naloxone that is in Suboxone, so it's one less risk to the baby. I am on suboxone and i have my doc appointment tmrw and I've took subutex 2 days before my appointment. Will the subutex show up different than suboxone on my urine dip stick drug test? ## Subutex shows up as Suboxone its the same thing. Subutex just don't have naloxone in it. ## No it will show as a bupe either one is fine. Trust me!!

The FDA classifies it as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as dizziness, dry mouth and constipation, as well as those you've mentioned. How long did you try Suboxone? Side effects are usually transient and tend to go away with time, once your body gets used to the medication.

Someone told me my wife's subutex were fake because they saw a half of a tablet and it only had the 54 half showing. I found it hard to believe because they came from the pharmacy and all the rest look fine. Actually other than it being cut in half it looks fine as well. It has the same color shape and imprint other than the 411 side being cut off. Any ideas on how to either prove or disprove these accusations because i just highly doubt the pharmacy is giving anyone fake and/or counterfeit medicine. ## If you received them from a licensed U.S. pharmacy, then there is no reason to think they are fake. Hi, I've been prescribed opiates for years now. With a few breaks between (with Subs, methadone, etc) after weaning my usage down. I took 2 days of methadone. Can I still take 2 mg (and slowly increase) my subutex use 24hrs after my last dose of 30mg methadone? ## Hello, Sue! How are you? Just like when starting Suboxone, you have to be in full withdrawal, before taking Subutex, unless your doctor directs otherwise, or it could throw you into dangerous precipitated withdrawals. What can you do to ease the withdrawals whrn you stop subutex?? I am miserable on day 4 dont think i can make it any longer. ## If your doctor approves, some Tylenol and Imodium may help with some of the symptoms, What dose were you taking? The FDA lists the typical withdrawal effects as possibly including nausea, vomiting, depression, irritability, rebound pain and diarrhea.

Hello, this thread will help many people. It is designated to provide addicts information concerning where they can get prescribed Subutex (Buprenorphine) instead of Suboxone. Let's face it, Naloxone can cause problems. Subutex is significantly cheaper and is an effective alternative for people who cannot tolerate Suboxone - for whatever reason. I was seeing a Dr for 3 years and never had one problem with her now she is dismissing me for not being able to answer my phone one month but they never did call my alternative number so now I am going to be out of meds and don't know what to do? I have been on 16mg of Subutex a day and I need to find a new doctor fat will prescribe subutex. Hi there, My boyfriend and I were taking opiates for about a year, quite a lot. We have been on methadone for about a year, I've been on it for a few months longer. Started at 60mgs a day and then got down to 12mg. For the past month I've been on a higher dose to get off the opiates we got hooked on again. Think we didn't have enough methadone and the cravings set in. So, I got subutex now and my boyfriend and I are living in separate places now, which make this hard to coordinate. I got subutex and we shared it but I had to start taking 8mg instead of 4mg just so that the withdrawal from methadone would go away. Hi all, I am 39, male and am going to take 8 MG's Subutex after being on methadone for 4 years (I'm just over it, tired) 60 MG's next day took 30 MG's next day took 20mgs and finally 10 MG's to taper a bit. I then waited 43 hours and am in moderate withdrawal. I have been in much worse withdrawal then now but decided to go ahead with 8 MG's of sub now to see, lab rat style, if I precip or get relief. There seem to be many different experiences, some say 24 hours some say 72. I will try to give an update if I precip and will for sure if I don't. Fingers crossed, I hope its the latter. I've been on subutex for about 14 months and gained every bit of 40 lbs. not to mention with my diet and excercise patterns, I should have lost 40. I've never been fat, well I was when I was a strung out junkie but that makes me eat non stop and not exercise. Today I have been on a liquid diet (whey protein powder and water or skim milk) and I allow myself to eat fruit and vegetables. I literally work out 1 to 3 times per day, and I mean seriously working out hardcore and I keep gaining weight, certainly am not losing any. There's 0% doubt in my mind it's the subutex which I'm down to 4 mg/day. I have been on suboxone for a year. This week I took a couple subutex, while still taking suboxone. Will my drug test be ok. - help? ## Subutex as well as Suboxone do not show at all on drug tests period unless the physicians have a specific, very expensive test for - if it's just a reg random drug test for opiates, cocaine, methamphetamine, marijuana and such then neither of the subs will show. Usually and often most offices use simply the reg drug tests and they do not go all out to test for sub but some do - you need to ask if the tests include it...Suboxone will be known as Naloxone and the Subutex as Buprenorphine - they do not however ever show up as opiate positive on a regular drug test.
