I need a Dr that prescribes subutex not soboxone and once a month due to work near statesville or hickory any suggestions???? ## Dr. Kearney in Iredell County, you do start out going every day to dose and once a week drug panels. If everything goes good after the first 6 weeks they let you take home a week at a time. Then so on and so on. Eventually you do get them once a month but you have to put the work in.

Im looking for a doctor who will prescribe subutex or soboxone for pain management. I have horrible chronic pain and am finding trouble finding a doctor who will listen and help with the pain not just addiction treatment. If anyone has any suggestions for me that would be great. I have a list of a few doctors who do prescribe it but it says for addiction treatment. The doctor I go to now has a giant sign saying they wont treat chronic pain. Kokomo area would be preferred but I will make the drive to wherever if its worth it. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!

I need a subutex doctor near 70438 zip asap. I've been off heroin for two months and subutex really does make me not want to do any other drugs. I've tried rehab, group talking, even had sponsors and still went back to using, and this is the only alternative I've found that really keeps me off street drugs, any of them. It kills my desire to want those other drugs. Plz help someone, I'm afraid I'll die if I use heroin again.

Trying to identify an orange, round pill with DRA on one side and a single scored line on the other. Thought they were subutex but can not confirm. Typical searches return Dramamine but when you look closer, it lists the color as white. Also, Dramamine spells it out as the imprint vs DRA. I have seen it listed as subutex 8mg once. Tried to ask a pharmacist, he couldn't identify it either. I'm on suboxone right now and want to switch to subutex because I'm afraid if there is ever an emergency and I need surgery suboxone will be a huge issue. ## Hello, Ashalee! How are you? The risk of that ever happening is very low, but if someone is being treated for addiction, there is a fairly big risk that they may abuse other drugs, while being treated, thus Suboxone is the preferred choice. I have been on subutex for many years and recently took a hair follicle test and it came back negative... I am a type 1 diabetic. Could this be a cause for the negative results? ## Buprenorphine is not usually tested for in a hair 5 drug panel test or Hair 5 Drug Panel with Extended Opiates so that is why it was negative.

If one took 2mg of buprenorphine and 8 mg methadone an hour later, would they get sick? ## No, but the Methadone will not have any effect. The Buprenorphine takes a much stronger hold on the opiate receptors than other opioids, so it stops them from being able to have any effect. I am prescribed subutex but I have had to take some suboxone when I ran low... Will the naloxone show up on a panel test in the office?? I just took a box today and I have a dr appt tomorrow!!! ## Hi I'm wondering if you ever got an answer to your question. I see my Subutex doctor later today and took a suboxone 14 days ago. Fyi to anyone considering subutex or suboxone while pregnant-beware that your baby is passed your opiates. I took lortab and subutex while pregnant weaned off of all 8 weeks prior to delivery and my son has autism. I know that no one knows what causes autism, but it's not worth your experimentation! beware! if you don't stop before delivery your baby will have withdrawl and the hospital will know for sure. take good care. ## I am 36 weeks pregnant, and have been on oxycodon for the entire time. I managed to get down to 45 mg, about a month ago, but told my doctors about my addiction bc i couldnt kick the habit myself. I live in Fort Meyers fl. I am currently on Suboxone and looking to be put on Subutex. I am pregnant and my doctor will not see me anymore. He says the contract I signed stated I wouldn't become pregnant. He referred to me to a methadone program. Which i do not want to have to do. Any advice is welcome. I really wanna stop using opiates but i find that unless i am under the influence of them i have no ambition to work. I am done getting high and wanna clean my life up.I been taking subutex and find that its making me depressed. It helps me get threw the day and gives me motivation to work.I take suboxin but it makes me sick to my stomach and sometimes i vomit. My husband has an addiction to pain pills and i recently found out he snorts & shoots up subutex..... can you please give me info on the side effects of this? I was drinking methadone 2 times a day morning and night, did a fast taper to 15ml methadone, now I'm 4 days into subutex loading doses 4 x 8mg, I'm not withdrawing but got one mild withdrawl symptom well 2. I'm not warm like i was on methadone and i am getting cold n hot back chills and flashes. I've been on subutex before and loved them and felt low doses. I just wanna feel normal again.
