If everything goes good after the first 6 weeks they let you take home a week at a time. Then so on and so on. Eventually you do get them once a month but you have to put the work in.
Im looking for a doctor who will prescribe subutex or soboxone for pain management. I have horrible chronic pain and am finding trouble finding a doctor who will listen and help with the pain not just addiction treatment. If anyone has any suggestions for me that would be great. I have a list of a few doctors who do prescribe it but it says for addiction treatment. The doctor I go to now has a giant sign saying they wont treat chronic pain. Kokomo area would be preferred but I will make the drive to wherever if its worth it. Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks!
UpdatedI need a subutex doctor near 70438 zip asap. I've been off heroin for two months and subutex really does make me not want to do any other drugs. I've tried rehab, group talking, even had sponsors and still went back to using, and this is the only alternative I've found that really keeps me off street drugs, any of them. It kills my desire to want those other drugs. Plz help someone, I'm afraid I'll die if I use heroin again.
UpdatedTrying to identify an orange, round pill with DRA on one side and a single scored line on the other. Thought they were subutex but can not confirm. Typical searches return Dramamine but when you look closer, it lists the color as white. Also, Dramamine spells it out as the imprint vs DRA. I have seen it listed as subutex 8mg once. Tried to ask a pharmacist, he couldn't identify it either. Please help - I need to know what this is I found in my sons room. ## My research also yields Dramamine (25mg) as a result with an imprint of "DRA" under the following National Drug Code of 63029-904, except the white color and second score line don't match up as you already pointed out. I see that Subutex is listed as a suspect in another related discussion thread here, but the post (#...
I'm on suboxone right now and want to switch to subutex because I'm afraid if there is ever an emergency and I need surgery suboxone will be a huge issue. ## Hello, Ashalee! How are you? I'm afraid they will not let you switch for such a reason. The risk of that ever happening is very low, but if someone is being treated for addiction, there is a fairly big risk that they may abuse other drugs, while being treated, thus Suboxone is the preferred choice. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Need rapid opiate detox frm 75mcg Fentanyl Patch/72 hrs & 10/325mg Percocet per 6 hrs as needed. Its getting ho...
LOOKING FOR A DOCTOR WHO WILL PRESCRIBE PAIN MEDICINE FOR CHRONIC PAIN OR SUBUTEX FOR CHRONIC PAIN AND TAKES EITHER MEDICARE, PASSPORT, OR MEDICAID IN LOUISVILLE KENTUCKY OR CLOSE TO THERE ## Hello, Nanarobin! How are you? I'm very sorry that you're in pain. Unfortunately, there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe and what insurances they accept, that I can refer to for you. If you require controlled substances for the long-term ongoing treatment of chronic pain, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, by the DEA. A general practitioner won't be able to help you. The FDA lists Subutex as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and m...
I have been on subutex for many years and recently took a hair follicle test and it came back negative... I am a type 1 diabetic. Could this be a cause for the negative results? ## Buprenorphine is not usually tested for in a hair 5 drug panel test or Hair 5 Drug Panel with Extended Opiates so that is why it was negative.
If one took 2mg of buprenorphine and 8 mg methadone an hour later, would they get sick? ## No, but the Methadone will not have any effect. The Buprenorphine takes a much stronger hold on the opiate receptors than other opioids, so it stops them from being able to have any effect. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Is the buprenorphine also combined with naxolone as it is in suboxone? ## If I took a 10 milligram Methadone will it be ok 3 hours later to take a Subutex
I'm Lisa I'm looking for a Suboxone dr in the N. ky area that except passport insurance? I been trying to find one but having no luck. Thank you ## Did u ever find one a sub doctor in the cincinnati not area? ## Need dr that takes insurance for Subutex in Virginia or North Carolina

If you have any other questions or concerns, please post back and I will be happy to assist you. ## I hv the same white oval pill w B8 on one side and a split on other, but no sword markings. I am prescribed subutex but I have had to take some suboxone when I ran low... Will the naloxone show up on a panel test in the office?? I just took a box today and I have a dr appt tomorrow!!! ## Hi I'm wondering if you ever got an answer to your question. I see my Subutex doctor later today and took a suboxone 14 days ago. Do you think the naloxone will still show?
Fyi to anyone considering subutex or suboxone while pregnant-beware that your baby is passed your opiates. I took lortab and subutex while pregnant weaned off of all 8 weeks prior to delivery and my son has autism. I know that no one knows what causes autism, but it's not worth your experimentation! beware! if you don't stop before delivery your baby will have withdrawl and the hospital will know for sure. take good care. ## I am 36 weeks pregnant, and have been on oxycodon for the entire time. I managed to get down to 45 mg, about a month ago, but told my doctors about my addiction bc i couldnt kick the habit myself. The doctor refered me to the methadone clinic but i didnt want to take methadone cause i can abuse it. Just got on subutex. 2 8mg tablets a day. Im so scared about...
I live in Fort Meyers fl. I am currently on Suboxone and looking to be put on Subutex. I am pregnant and my doctor will not see me anymore. He says the contract I signed stated I wouldn't become pregnant. He referred to me to a methadone program. Which i do not want to have to do. Any advice is welcome. I am tapering and plan to be off in 3 months. ## Hello, Jeannie! How are you? Congrats on the pregnancy! As to finding a doctor, I think the easiest way may be to ask your OBGyn, they can usually refer you to a doctor that will treat pregnant women. The FDA classifies Subutex as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Does an...
I really wanna stop using opiates but i find that unless i am under the influence of them i have no ambition to work. I am done getting high and wanna clean my life up.I been taking subutex and find that its making me depressed. It helps me get threw the day and gives me motivation to work.I take suboxin but it makes me sick to my stomach and sometimes i vomit. Is there a way to help with these symptoms ## THe symptoms you are describing are normal side effects of the Buprenorphine that is in both Suboxone and Subutex, because it is still a narcotic opiate. However, the reason that Suboxone may be making you more nauseated is because it also contains Naloxone, which is used to help prevent the abuse of other narcotics, while someone is under treatment with this and it can throw you into...
Is there a pink looking subutex that's oval and one side has 153 the other has a fancy looking d one and is it a 8mg? ## Hello, Rita! How are you? Yes, that is correct, it is manufactured by Actavis and that is actually meant to be a half moon logo. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?
How long will Subutex 8mg stay in your system? I have to do a UA and wondering what is the time frame? Also, I am so sick & tired of taking oxys and I've been seeing a pain doctor for them for years. Will a PD prescribe you Subutex or Suboxone? Something for pain and withdrawal symptoms??? TIA
UpdatedI been on subutec for 2 yrs now my dr wants to switch me to suboxone is it safe to switch i mean doing 3 subutec today and going to suboxone tomorrow its crazy ## Hello, Joe! How are you? Yes, you can do a straight switch from one to the other. They both contain Buprenorphine, but Suboxone also contains Naloxone to help prevent someone from abusing other narcotics, while being treated with it. The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Suboxone is the preferred choice, unless a woman is pregnant, or the person is allergic to the Naloxone, so most doctor's are switching their patients. Is th...
I was switched to a new film, has anyone seen this? Pale yellow/orange film with green BNP stamp on it? ## Omg these are the nastiest things I've ever puttin in my mouth! They are no good at all and if you did them I'm sure you'll agree lol! ## Oddly enough, there doesn't appear to be any images or depictions that I could find on the internet matching the details that were provided by the original poster. I see Jennifer (post #1) has already tried them - Do you happen to have information on the National Drug Code or manufacturer of these films? The marked abbreviation "BNP" leads me to believe that it stands for "Buprenorphine" (hence Subutex), but some additional way to verify this (as well as the dosage) would be great! Thank you for your time! ## There...
My husband has an addiction to pain pills and i recently found out he snorts & shoots up subutex..... can you please give me info on the side effects of this? Talked to a director over a rehab center today, hoping they have a bed for him monday. I'm trying to learn what i can do to help him get over this, we have two small children and our youngest is just 4 months. i love my husband so much i just want him to have a normal life so he can be here to watch our babies grow instead of in a cemetary lot.. thank you. ## Hi I am currently tapering off subutext & went from 8mg down to 1.5mg. I just started snorting it cuz I find it seems to last longer.my question is this. Will this way cause a more unpleasant detox? I saw online that someone recommended this as it helps wen you ge...
I was drinking methadone 2 times a day morning and night, did a fast taper to 15ml methadone, now I'm 4 days into subutex loading doses 4 x 8mg, I'm not withdrawing but got one mild withdrawl symptom well 2. I'm not warm like i was on methadone and i am getting cold n hot back chills and flashes. I've been on subutex before and loved them and felt low doses. I just wanna feel normal again. I miss the effects methadone or subutex gave me before. Is it cos I've still got methadone in my system? I last had methadone Saturday morning, then at dinner time took subutex and it put me in mild withdrawl, sunday no methadone, just more subutex, still withdrawing. On monday I took opiates but that had no effect considering I've not taken any in 11 years. Then tuesday I star...
