When I move to Georgia rock to go down. When I move to georgia I became pregnant and decided it was in the best interest of my child to go on subutex. Now that she's getting a little bigger my chronic back pain has returned in full force. I am trying to see pain management doctors but nobody will help me now that I have been prescribed subutex in the passed during my pregnancy. I'm trying to research subutex legalities and I can't remember what class buprenorphine is. Is it Class II or Class III? Anybody know? ## Oops! I meant to say schedule. I'm still looking for regs because I'm having a problem with a pharm here filling an emergency rx for subutex. ## I'm sorry, I could provide you better information if you told us what country you were in? It is an opiate narcotic, and as such, it is a controlled substance in the U.S. and is listed as a class II, along with all other narcotics and medications such as Benzodiazepines. Can you post back with your country, or let us know if this answered your questions? ## why cancer? i need it fore staying alive after 12 overdoses so do i need cacer to get help. im trying to stopp and going to use the su...
I am currently going to a Dr and being prescribed suboxone. I ended up taking subutex for two days because in all honesty i took extra suboxone for a couple days. My Dr said i tested positive for opiates. They sent it back to be retested and he said it was still positive, the number he said was 61? I don't know if that means 61% opiates in my system or what...? I am TOTALLY freaked out because i did NOT take ANYTHING except suboxone & subutex. Can anyone please help me figure out how this happened? ## Freaked out, If you were going to a true sub. specialist everything would have been discussed with you prior to induction. I'd suggest you find a qualified provider to oversee your treatment and you most likely wouldn't have to deal with the added anxiety of false positives...
Is there any kind of help I can get from the Mfg. I am a single Disabled Mom and I have to pay out of pocket $269 per month for his Subutex. Please let me know if you or the government has some type of program for us. Thank You. Rose {edited for privacy} ## Hi Rose, Based on my research, there don't appear to be any patient assistance programs available for Subutex (only Suboxone); however, I did come across a number of "Subutex prescription discount cards" through google that can save you anywhere from 5 to 80% off your prescription. You just print them out and show it to the pharmacist whenever you fill a prescription. I'm not sure exactly how much you'll save by going this route, but I'd imagine any sort of savings should be helpful. :) Does anyone else has so...
I have been filling my subutex at Walgreen since December now they will not fill them because I'm not pregnant! No one else at different pharmacies are having this problem. But ever pharmacy I call isn't taking anyone new. I've been out for 5days and scared of relapse. Please help! ## Hello, Michelle! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. This is a controlled substance, which means that if you're just calling pharmacies, you're going to keep getting such answers. They have no way of knowing if the person on the other end of the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. You'll actually need to go to the pharmacies, with your prescription in hand, to find out if they can fill it. As to Walgreen's not fillin...
I live in Gulfport , Mississippi 39501 . I am looking for a doctor that will prescribe me Subutex instead of Suboxone like my doctor is doing now because Suboxone gives me migraines all day long and cannot sleep at night makes me nauseous during the day

I'm having trouble finding a good doc here in toms river nj
UpdatedHow long do I wait to take subutex after suboxone? I need advice from others that have switched. ## Subutex contains Burprenorphine, and Suboxone contains Buprenorphine with Naloxone, so there shouldn't be any need to wait, you can normally make a smooth transition, unless your doctor says otherwise. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Are you on any other medications? What instructions has your doctor provided?
I have been on subutex for over a year and have not taken opiates in that time. I have a really good job and they are now doing a drug test today urine / hair sample test I am the sole provider for my family and do not want to lose my job. I need help on how to pass my test. I take between 4mg and 6 mg a day, I am working on getting off the subutex but at this point I have no choice bc the withdraws will be terrible and I work 12 hr shifts 60 hrs a week... please help! ## Your job can't fire you for being an addict. It's discrimination if they do. Often, the lab will call & give you a chance to explain any positive results, and with good explanation they will relay to your employer that you're not positive. Even if they did, you have a legit reason & they can't d...
I've been in two different suboxone clinics that I couldn't afford to keep going to because I had to pay to go to the groups every time I went to get a prescription. I no longer have transportation. I have Medicaid and Medicare. I'm also mentally and emotionally handicapped and I'm on disability. I have no one to help me do this. I cannot take suboxone because the naloxone gives me migraines! I need a doctor in the Sullivan County area that can prescribe subutex asap. Can somebody plz help me find one? ## Yes I can find a private psychiatrist who owns his own little clinic, explain the headaches as I did and cost. Subutex feels so much cleaner and warm plus with an RX coupon I paid 43.60 for 90 8mg small white ones. I'm struggling though, it isn't helping with cr...

Thank you ## I need a Dr. that prescribes subutex in Burlington, New Jersey
I get 60, 8mg subutex from my Dr. He also gives me a refill, because ive been with him so long. Im moving out of state this week, and will be about 10 days ahead of my refill date, and pharmacy is local mom n pops. Have no Dr or pharmacy, how can I get my scrip filled before I leave? ## Chauncey, 10 days is something I don't think any legit rph would be willing to risk there licenses for.your best bet would be set up an appointment as soon as you get to your new location and explain your predicament to your new provider. Best wishes...
I have been on 3 to 4 norcos per day for about 1.5-2 years. 10/325 mg. I don't take them at work EVER. So at night to relax and on weekends/holidays. I recently ran out and my doc suggested I take subutex if I start feeling crappy until I get more. I wasn't feeling too bad but wanted to try it anyway. He told me to put a whole pill under my tongue. But being cautious, I only put 1/2 pill under my tongue (so 4 mg?). Holy cow. I was SO high, then I have been sleepy for hours. Took a nap and woke up still high. Made dinner and am hoping eating makes it go away. It's not, really. I took the pill at 2pm today. I have work at 8:30 am tomorrow - am I still going to feel like this in the morning?! I'm freaking out and really regretting this. *some side notes about me: I am heavy...
I am a opiate addict trying to get clean, but suboxone has always made my withdrawal symptoms worse so I need help finding a doctor that can prescribe subutex instead of suboxone. My life dearly depends on it so please help me find a doctor asap. Thanks so much. ## Hello, Brandi! How are you? I'm sorry about the problems you've been having. However, worsening withdrawals, or precipitated withdrawals can occur with both of these medications. They both contain Buprenorphine, which takes a stronger hold on your opiate receptors than other opiates that are available, so they tend to kick out any residual opiates that are there and take their place, as reported by the NIH. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such a...
Hi ive just been taken off my script of 0.4mg subutex, my doctors wont perscibe me anythink because they say my withdrawal symtoms 'are all in the mind' well try telling that to my legs & arms, my aches are unbelievable bad. Can any1 sugguest anythink i can take to help aid me threw this...?? Many thanks in advance ## neurontin {gabapentin} helps with withdraw symptoms for alot of people . i suggest trying to get that ## Firstly, thanks for your reply, im day 3 now & aches are alot milder, im just constantly cold & snifferly, but i at least feel free of subutex. The finish line is in sight :)) Can you buy this or is it on perscription? ## It isn't that they are all in your head, the problem is really that some of them, such as the aches and pains are actually reb...
been on subutex 2 1/2 months only taking 2mg 3x per day just stopped how many days until I start feeling withdraws from it I heard it has a half life so will I be ok for a few days before it affects me * ## I know it's a large gap, but the estimated half-life of Subutex (buprenorphine) is 24 to 60 hours. So it's likely that you may not begin to notice withdrawal symptoms until well after the first day. I know it's different for everyone, but from what I've seen, many individuals who go cold turkey on buprenorphine can end up experiencing withdrawal symptoms by the 2nd or 3rd day. Your symptoms may last anywhere from an estimated 2 weeks to 2 or 3 months. It depends on several underlying factors. However it is important to do everything you can to help yourself during thi...
I took a very small piece of Subutex this morning. I haven't taken Subutex in a week and half but I have a drug test tomorrow morning. Will it show up on a drug test? ## Yes it will show up in the morning. I never use over a crum to take the nite before my drug screen. It does not matter the amount that you take it will be in your system for 72 hours. I know from experience of a abuser and of a recovery addict.
I've had back surgery and have degenerative disc disease that is already "severe" at 36yo. I'm miserable. My Dr just got in trouble so I went from 4 Roxy 20s and 2 opana 5s daily to 3 Roxy 15s daily. I tried subutex with the Roxy (just taking a little piece all throughout the day... Up go 1 8mg tablet) and it works wonders. Now I'm scared to tell this new Dr bc she's not really a pain management Dr. I've been trying to find a Dr in my area who may be able to help me. I live near Beckley, WV. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance for any help!! ## I don't think they are allowed to write it for pain. I got tired of hurting and went through a program until I told on myself for taking it for pain instead of abusing pain mess.oh boy did I mess up they took 8 mg ...
My boyfriend is on probation and he keeps messing up. It's from something that happened EIGHT years ago! He really does have pain issues and although he has a prescription for pain medication the probation officer doesn't care. We decided to go the subutex route. So my question is this: Does anybody know if probation officers test for suboxone/subutex on a 7 panel or 10 panel test? In California/Los Angeles specifically? I know normally they need to do a separate test for suboxone but I don't know much about how probation officers do it. He needs help and he needs at least some relief. What do they test for? And if it ends up going to the lab and wasn't tested before, will it be tested for suboxone then? Please help and respond as soon as possible! Thank you!
UpdatedCan any doctor prescribe Subutex? Or does it have to be a psychiatrist? I asked my family medicine doctor about it (which was over 5 years ago) and he never heard of it. I feel like a piece of trash going to these clinics standing in line to get my dose. ## You can get a three day approval notice that you have to print out and take to your physician that can give you a few extra days to find something that works ## Hello, Gina! How are you? Any doctor can prescribe it for pain, but only those that have a special waiver to treat with it are allowed to prescribe it for addiction treatment. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Is there anything else I can h...
