Does anyone no how long suboxone stays in your system? ## The half-life of Suboxone is anywhere between 24-72 hours; so I would suggest giving yourself at least a week or longer if you think you are going to be testing "specifically" for Suboxone. I know this isn't a 100% direct answer, but I hope it helps! There's really just not much information online regarding "exactly" how long it stays in your system. If you do think you are at risk for it showing up on a drug test, I would suggest informing them that you are on it, under a doctor's care. But from the majority of information i've read on the subject, you shouldn't be too concerned about it even showing up, since it's rarely tested for. I hope this information helps!

I have disc issues from L1 to L5 and I was on Oxycodone for 1 1/2 years starting at 5/325 4x's a day and ended @ 30mg 6x's aday so I decided to get off the Oxycodone with Suboxone, started @ 8mg Suboxone 2x's a day then tapered to .25.g Suboxone 1x a day over a 5 mos period, here's the problem in the 5 mos period since I wasn't on pain meds my pain came back full force and I started taking the Oxycodone 10mg 6x's a day for the last week, so I wanted to know if I was to stop taking the Oxycodone would I still go into withdrawal as though I had never stopped, the proiblem is in the last 5 months I lost my job and Medical insurance and I can't afford the Suboxones (oxycodone is a lot cheaper when prescribed than Suboxone ) I need an operation so in the mean whil...

my daughter-in-law is pregnant(12 to 14 weeks),she has been taking Cyboxin for the past 6 months. i know nothing about this drug and the effects it can or will have on the health of our grandchild. she has only been to see her OBGYN 1 time and neglected to tell her that she is taking this drug. what concerns should we have and what if anything should we do? ## She should definitely consult her doctor. Suboxone contains the narcotic Buprenorphine and Naloxone, which is added to prevent the abuse of other narcotics, while someone is under treatment with it. However, it has not been studied for use during pregnancy, so at this time, it is not known whether or not it may cause problems. Are there any other comments or questions?

I ran out of my oxycodone pills and I took some suboxone for about a week and a half so that I would not get withdrawl symptoms. About a week later I started back on oxy but it was the new pills which I did not like so I went back to the Oxy 30's. Now that I am taking them, I feel nothing anymore. No Euphoria, no pain release, no high, nothing. Could you tell my why this is happening? I know I have built up a toloarance because I am able to take 5-6 pills at one time and I still feel nothing. Any advice on how to get back to the day one feeling? You can check for other doctors in you area that provide treatment with Suboxone at the website Suboxone.com, then you may be able to call them and ask. I have been on (Suboxone) for about 2 months now,I take 8mgs or break the tablet in half.I have noticed that taking this i do not have the need for anti-depressants like i did or nerve pills and even my ADD medicine.I have not stopped it all together but have went 2 weeks with out it and felt great.I just wanted to know if other people have noticed this who are taking other medications. ## While it contains the narcotic Buprenorphine, which is technically a depressant, it does have the opposite effect on some people. That fact, coupled with the high it can cause some people, is a major contributing to fact to why there are so many that end up abusing narcotics and becoming addicts. Are there any other comments or questions?

I found a pill and can't quite make out the number on it but it has a small b with three numers on one side , it is orange in color and oval..the last number is a 3 and on the other side it says 20 for mg I assume..and a line in between the 2 and 0 as if to be able to cut in half,,it is the same color as suboxone 8mg tablet but oval in shape....does anyone know what this is? ## Hi Sandra, Thanks for providing such a detailed description. Hi, I am so glad I found this forum. My 16 year old son has recently started the suboxen. He lost 13 pounds in 2 weeks and they increased his dose from 1 and 1/2 to 2. I noticed tonight he looks kind of pale and he fell asleep earlier today(he never naps) he says when he eats he begins to feel sick. Has anyone else experienced this? Is it possible that 2 is to much. He is thin anyway and can't afford to lose much more weight and suggestions I would appreciate. Thanks ## Suboxone contains Naloxone, along with the narcotic Buprenoprhine, which means it can still cause the usual narcotic side effects, which includes the drowsiness and nausea. Have either of you spoken to his doctor about it? They may be able to prescribe something to help with the nausea.

Hi, Does anyone else out there get relief from chronic depression by taking the Suboxone? I take it illegally whenever I run out of Percs, and it always makes me feel better, like I can do more things and I have more energy. Next week, I go to a Suboxone doctor to get on this legally, but should I tell him that I take them illegally and that they help with my depression? I am not sure if I should tell him this. does ceboxin get into your bone marrow ## Suboxone contains the narcotic Buprenorphine and Naloxone, it is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, but also some cases of severe chronic pain. However, as to an answer to your question, I can't find any definitive medical studies on it. Does anyone have information on this?

ive been taking 2mg of sub for about a month, i came up positive on a surprise test at probation(not good) but i denied it, so they are sendind it to the lab. I have to go back in 4 days. Are there any ways to beat the test? Can i flush fast enough to come out clean? Please help! I am try ing to get off suboxoneand xanax. I am taking about 1/8 of a 2mg suboxane 2 x a day and down to 1 .5mg xanax a day. I am getting blurred vision, confusion, anxiety, trouble sleeping. i was wondering if u sniff suboxone does it work the same way? ## No. Suboxone only works one way - by dissolving it under your tongue. It is specially designed that way. If you try to snort, swallow, inject it, (etc.) it has an ingredient - naloxone (sp?) - that will render it useless. In fact, if you take it any of those ways you might actually kick-start yourself into withdrawal. When you dissolve it under your tongue it allows for the main ingredient (the opioid part) to be released into your body. But my question is - why would you want to snort it? Aren't you taking suboxone to rid yourself of that lifestyle? Or do you just like sticking things into your nose? If that's the case, try crushing and snorting Smarties candies. i am taking 70 mg. methodone daily. i have been clean many years. going to meth. clinic interferes with my job. is there a place that dispenses suboxon. ## You can check Suboxone.com to see if there is a doctor in your area that provides Suboxone treatment. The way it works though, might cause you some problems. You do have to be in full withdrawal, before you can start Suboxone, because it contains both Buprenorphine and Naloxone, so the Naloxone can throw you into severe withdrawals, if you take it too soon. From what I understand, some of them do give take-home prescriptions, but it depends on the doctor's policies and the laws in your state. I have had 4 nerve blocks, trigger point injections, and allergic reaction to suboxone and fentalyn for three herniated discs lower back. I had to go back to oxycontin. My doctor has stopped taking workers' comp and I can't find another pain management doctor that will prescribe meds. I have been told that an operation cannot guarantee being pain free, and may make me worse, which I can't imagine living with. My life is consumed with living with this, and the government should stay out of the doctor patient relationship or question it for people who do not use drugs recreationally or abuse them. Need help first question is ive been taking suboxen for 8 months with no issues the last drug test i took came back negative for suboxne but i will still taking it. I just started tranning for a bench press comp and have been doing a keto diet and drinking about 2-3 gal of water a day would that cause you to not have it in your urin. I take 45mg of percoset daily. I'm trying to get off of them for a couple weeks, because I have been taking more of my daily dosage then I'm supposed to. I'm not abusing I have just been in a lot of pain. Here's my story. I started years ago occasionally using roxi 30's on every few weekends a month. Not a habit or addiction (per say) but just for fun at parties and bars. Around 5 months ago I began abusing them daily. (to help get through some rough times) Approx 1-3 (never more than 3, and hardly ever 3) Snorting or eating them 1/2 pill (15 mg) a time. In the past month I have began taking them upon waking. Before this it was later in the day or at night. I am tired of the feeling i have been having the past month and was given two 8mg subs.
