Suboxen And Percoset

I take 45mg of percoset daily. I'm trying to get off of them for a couple weeks, because I have been taking more of my daily dosage then I'm supposed to. I'm not abusing I have just been in a lot of pain. I've been taking percoset for 6 years, and this is the first time I've ever taken more than normal. my friend gave me a suboxin today to help with withdrawal symptoms. it is 8 mg. he told me to break into 6 pieces. and take 1 piece each day. my question is this...

how long will this block the opiates???? how many days do I need to take the soboxen????? and when can I start taking my percoset again??????? I do need to take a drug test every month to show I am taking my percoset. so if I started taking soboxen on the 7th. when can I start taking my percosets again. so that I will test positive for my opiates on the 30th. I just want to withdraw with out getting very sick. so that I can get back to taking my correct daily dosage. Can someone please help me with this question.

Suboxone contains a powerful narcotic Buprenorphine, coupled with Naloxone and it can be dangerous, if not used properly.

It also only meant to treat severe addiction and the proper dosage must be carefully calculated by a doctor.

The proper use of it also entails your being in full withdrawal, before you start taking it. If you aren't, then the Naloxone can throw you into dangerous, severe withdrawals.

And, since doctors that treat with Suboxone are specially trained to do so, I really can't provide any precise information on the dosage, how long to take it and etc.

As to the drug testing, the Buprenorphine in the Suboxone requires a specific test for detection, it is not usually included on most standard tests. However, if your doctor does look for it, it will be detectable for approximately 4 to 5 days, after last use.
