Since passion flower is actually a supplement, not a traditional medication, it hasn't been checked for interactions with drugs, so it is possible that they may be some problems that just aren't yet known. Learn more Suboxone details here. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Thank you so much! I did also call my doctor to keep him updated with my medication intake. I guess I was just worried that they would counter react eachother. Since one is an opiate based and the other is to help with withdrawls so im worried ...
Has anyone out there had their feet swell? Also my knees hurt, its almost like I'm having an elergiec reaction to this. ## Actually, those aren't the signs of an allergic reaction, that would be symptoms such as hives, trouble breathing, swelling of the mouth, nose and throat. However, the edema that you're experiencing has been reported in people that are hypersensitive to Suboxone. So, it may not be the right medication for you to take, or you may beed to lower the dosage. Learn more Suboxone details here. Have you consulted your doctor, yet?

Does anyone know when a generic suboxone will be available ## Suboxone first received FDA approval in 2002 and the exclusivity patent will run out on August 30, 2013, but the doesn't necessarily mean that a generic will become available at that time. Learn more Suboxone details here. Are you having trouble affording this medication? ## The generic suboxone came out in February of this year..2013. I know this because i have them. They are white, have a half-moon on one side, and 155 on the other. They are much harder than the Orange tabs making them easier to break & proportion. Hope this helps.
is their a doctor in philadelphia that takes medicare insurance to cover suboxen treatment ## Hi, John! I'm not sure what doctors accept which insurance….but they do have a website, suboxone.com where you can check for doctors in your area. It includes their contact information, so you can call them to see if they accept Medicare, or not. Learn more Suboxone details here. Can you post back and let me know if you have any luck? Thanks!
I am in the Suboxone program. I now take Subutex, but basically the same thing. I smoke pot and my doctor is getting tired of seeing this on my test. My question is if I get my friend to take a piece of Suboxone for the test then freeze the left over urine; will the Subutex/Suboxone still be detect the Subutex/Suboxone ingredient even though the urine was frozen and thawed by the next time I use it in four weeks? Or if I thaw the urine will the Sub ingredients be gone as well? ## It's not at the doctors discretion to decide to keep you as a patient when your drug screen test positive for narcotics. The doctor will eventually have to either drop you as a patient all together or cut down your prescription. That's a new regulation. My girlfriend has been seeing the same doctor for ...
My doctor has disappeared. He went out in March. At the March appointment I got two scripts for three a day (regular dose is two a day) one to fill that day and another to fill April 17 to cover up to June 17th. There was no rx for May and I stupidly did not start looking for new doctor because I trusted this doctor and had been going to him for over 2 years. The day before the June 17 appointment he calls, says he could not keep the appointment. At that time, I had a few left and told him that and it was “I don't know what to tell you and hung up”. I got into see someone a few Saturdays ago and they knew my situation and agreed to not make me start over and instead start right off treating monthly if I had printout from pharmacy saying that I had been on it. The doctor ...
UpdatedMy girl is going on probation in Miami in 7 days. It's not a drug charge, but her lawyer has her thinking that they will drug test her because she's only on probation for one day. He also has her convinced it'll be a 12 panel that will include buprenorphine. She has been taking 8mg sub daily for the last year, and 4mg the last 4 days. She is 105 lbs, 5'06 and has a fast metabolism, but is freaking out. #1, what kind of test do they give in Dade County? Instant or lab? What did they test for? #2 How long will it take for the buprenorphine to be out of her system so she can pass her test no worries? Is there anything she can do to help speed it up without using head-shop bulls***? Thank you for your help
UpdatedI live in NH and a long list to wait. I got into a situation I've been seeing the doctor always clean urine, never any issues then one day I go in and they swear they called me in but because I had recently moved I had given my moms # and she had her call history going back 2 months and no call at all. Unless they called my old # so now I go back on the list and have been waiting for 3 months. I'm a mess there is only one other clinic around here and its almost a year to wait.. I'm at a loss. There have been people I know that called and got put on the list way after the day this happened and they are already in. I just don't know what to do. She said there was nothing she could do but put me back on the list. And its driving me nuts because I know people who get their p...
They now have generic Suboxone pills, but I do not want the generic pills. Am I going to still be able to purchase the original Suboxone orange octagon shaped "original non generic" pills when I get my prescription filled? My pharmacy has the new generics in, but I do not want generic Suboxone. I want the original ones! ## From what I've read, there have been some complications with the manufacturers who distribute Suboxone and the regular ones may not be available right now. There isn't a lot of pertinent information about this issue that I can find, so you may have to look around for some other pharmacies. I wish I could be of more help! If anyone else knows more about this topic, please share!
There's a new Sub Clinic in Tri Cities, WA. Opening early July 2012. in Kennewick, WA. Name: Ideal Option Suboxone Clinic Address: 415 North Morain Street, Suite B Tri Cities, WA 99336 Phone number: 509-222-1275 Hope this helps! ## Hi Sub, Thanks for that information. I'll add some additional information regarding Suboxone for anyone who is curious: Suboxone (Buprenorphine) is a semi-synthetic opioid that is used to treat opioid addiction in higher dosages (>2mg), to control moderate acute pain in non-opioid-tolerant individuals in lower dosages, and to control moderate chronic pain. It is available in a variety of formulations: Subutex, Suboxone (Buprenorphine HCl and naloxone HCl; typically used for opioid addiction), Temgesic (sublingual tablets for moderate to severe pai...
Yes I live in Ohio I am an oppiate addict who is on disability ive been through it all i want to know if Ohio Disability ssd covers anything the meds or the visits to the doctors? ## Hi Gene, Based on my research, the Social Security Administration (SSA) webpage for some reason, does not actually list any of the types of services or disability that it supposedly covers. Basic information about the program can be found in the following pdf document. But I have yet to find specific details on coverage: ssa.gov/pubs/EN-05-10029.pdf However, from the looks of things, it seems like your best bet at this point would be to either contact the SSA directly regarding their coverage, or to discuss any type of disability information with your doctor. Reason being is that every doctor may have diffe...
Hi. I recently stopped taking 180 mgs. of OxyContin twice a day. I had been on that dose for eleven years. I'm now taking 8mgs of Subutex 3x a day. I'm getting some pain relief but I'm still at a 7 for my average pain scale. When I was on the OxyContin I was at an average 10 pain for the last 21/2 years. That is why I went off it. My main question is what is the max dosage of the Subutex I can take a day? Thank you so much. ## From what I've read, the maximum daily dose of Buprenorphine (Subutex) is listed at 32mgs. So with your current dose being 8mgs 3x daily, you're one more dose away from the maximum. If you're also interested in reading other patient reviews, there happens to be another discussion thread here on this same topic, that you can have a look at i...
I have been on suboxone for two mths but ran out and slipped up and took about 2 1/2 roxys and my pee test for the doc is mon will i be ok ## Roxicodone can be detected in your urine for up to 3-4 days after your last dose. Depending on the amount taken, you can also determine a more specific time frame as to when it will be out of your system, by going off of the half life of the drug itself (which is 3-4 hours). Half-life here means that, say, 4 hours after ingesting a Roxy, half of the active amount will be gone. This doesn't mean that 4 hours later, though, the other half will be gone. At that point half of the remainder will be gone, then another half after the same time interval, and so on, until the drug is eliminated from the body. I hope this helps to answer your question! ...
## Hi, Chrissy! I understand your concern, some people do have problems with generic medications. To avoid getting a generic, you need to ask your doctor to write the prescription as 'brand medically necessary' or to not check the substitutions permitted box, to sign on that line, or whatever one of the various methods your state uses. If that's not done, it is normal for your pharmacy to give you a generic, unless your paying cash and request otherwi...
I read almost all your posts. I think I'm way off here probably just a little off in the head. I've been on vicoden and oxy's since 2003. 98% of the time I was buying the crap off the street. The other 2% I would intentionally hurt myself to get a script, pathetic I know. I took a leap of faith and stopped. Went to a Methadone clinic and regretted it ever since. Missed important life moments and lost all my friends. I was on that crap for 4 years and stopped after weening down to nothing. I was clean for over 6 months before cravings got the better of me and I started stealing family members suboxones strips. Now that member is stopping, I'm going nuts. Depressed and constantly thinking suicidal thoughts. I'm 26years old and I'm getting to thinking I need suboxon...
Anybody in United States Rx'd these? Im on 8/mg. sl suboxone/naloxone owe day-for 18+ months. Wondering if US addictions Drs. Would consider the switch as I feel I'm getting closer to being buprenorphine free !!! Although not in the near future of 2 months or less. Can anyone relate please reply if so. Thank You all ***Btw*** I am not "after/seeking" 4 patches per month to use and or abuse I am curious if the mcg dosage released in the transdermal patch is a better way to titrate/taper opposed to 8/2mg daily of suboxone. ## Hi Skip, Based on my research, trans-dermal patches are a more effective way of delivering medication directly into the blood stream. Using a patch to taper may be slightly more difficult since you will have to cut the patch into smaller sections and ...
son alledly robbed drug store after 6 days without availibility of Soboxon. Can this cold turkey withdrawl cause a person to rob a drug to obtain Suboxone? ## Hi Ron, Sorry to hear about what happened with your son. Based on what I've seen in other Suboxone-related threads here, this drug can influence serious personality changes. They are, however, not usually regarded as 'severe' unless the medication is being heavily abused. Some personality changes may also be a result of withdrawal symptoms, but the only types of people you hear about robbing places to get their fix are those who feel they are in grave danger without it. So I can only imagine that he must've had an extremely high tolerance to even reach that point of withdrawal. Do you know whether or not your son w...
I'm a chronic pain pt. I was on 16 mg of sub for pain for 2 straight years. It completely stopped working, when in the beginning it worked "good enough" now, my dr is a pain specialist and suboxone dr. He put me on a fentynal patch 25 mcg told me to take my last dose of sub and put patch on at same time because sub should b mostly out of my system within 12 hrs. I had no problem switching but a little wd from the sub. It is only day 4....dr said 40% of your opiod receptors r still open on sub!!! It only fills 60% of them. Still, enough to block most opiates, except very high doses. Now, I am just starting to feel the fentynal on day 4. But am still in moderate/sometimes severe pain. Anyone with a similar experience???? ## Hi Painpatient38, I haven't personally had an exp...
what is the price on the new generic suboxone sl 8 mg /2 mg per tablet? As I don't have insurance & have to buy them separate or a few at a time. ## This website does not manufacture, prescribe nor sell any medications, it is an information only website. That said, the price will vary from area to area, from pharmacy to pharmacy and according to how many you are buying. In most cases it is cheaper to buy a month's worth, as the individual price goes up if you buy lower amounts. Learn more Suboxone details here. Have you asked your local pharmacies for price quotes? ## In regards to people asking about generic Suboxone (buprenorphine/naloxone). It seems that the tablets cost more than the name brand strips. Even the generics, appear to cost slightly more than the name brand s...
