Guys, I've been on about 1-2 mg of Suboxone a day for about 2 years. Since the dosage is so low, is it possible to quit Cold Turkey? I wanna get this over with once and for all. ## It is possible, if your doctor approves, but you may experience some mild withdrawal symptoms. As listed by the FDA, withdrawal symptoms may include nausea, dizziness, fever, chills, rebound pain and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

I am 14 wks pregnant & need to b on one of these medications to bring my baby safely into the worls, but can't find any!!!!! I have been on suboxone for 7 years. Tapered down to one strip a day from 3 by myself. I haven't taken any illegal, illicit drugs in 7 years this past May 17th. Last night at 10pm I missed a shot of heroin. And it's 2:19pm the next day. I was planning on taking my sub 18 hours later. I am new to all this bit I have been everyone post on here for days which have been helping me with the suboxone withdrawl. I was only taking 2mg a day so I went down to .50 I think it was way to fast. So I went to 1mg I didn't think my withdrawl was going be that bad but they was. It feels like ever bone in my body are killing me can't sleep aweful. It always worst at night and first thing in the morning. This is aweful drug wish I never started it. Does anyone know if suboxine can be used for pain. i have fibromylgia and have ruptured disks and pinched syacitia nerves. im currently on 3 5mg of loritabs and 3 300mg of neurotin a day for pain mag. but it dosnt really work most days. i tried suboxin one day and it helped my pain much more than my meds. was i imagining it or does it really help. ## Suboxone can help with pain, although it's probably not nearly as potent as other narcotic pain meds. I'm new to suboxone. I was taking about 140mg of hydrocodone for a very long time. Dr prescribed suboxone film 8/2mg twice a day. Has anyone cut the film into smaller doses? For example dose yourself every 4 or 6 hours with a cut piece of film. I have an odd job where I work 12 hour days, i'm concerned of feeling "loopy" at work. This is a very private and personal journey and wish to keep my work out of it. I would appreciate any suggestions. I just started today( on my day off, have the next 2.5 days off) w/ 8mg/2mg. Hi,yet another newbie here, hoping i can get some advice on buprenorphine & acid in the urinary tract.Sounds strange but for the last two years whilst being on (bups) I've had terrible pain & have also been suffering from dehydration.I have had bloods & all sorts but my Doctor,(who does not prescribe) bups & indeed is hard pushed to give me anything else,hasn't found anything wrong with me,which is exactly what he intended. i dont take suboxone on a regular basis. i took a quater of subxone today when can i tak e my pain medication ## Generally, unless your doctor instructs otherwise, you have to wait about 72 hours. Otherwise the Suboxone will block the effect of other opiates. i got my 8mg suboxone strips and they are about 3/4 of the size as usual. it looked almost like someone cut them in half. did i get the wrong meds??? ## Where did you get them, from a pharmacy or treatment clinic? Been on suboxane for over 4 yrs to get off 30mgs of oxcodone! Subs have helped but I want off them but scared of the withdrawals! Need surgery and said I have to stop the subs to get surgery! I've been taking per 30's. (Not proud) I took 8 mg suboxone 2 days in a row last dose 31 hrs ago. Will I feel full effects off 100 mg methadone. I usually take that once a week. Don't want it to be a waste. ## Hi Jewel, Because everyone's individual wait period tends to vary based on a variety of different factors, I would encourage you to contact your prescribing doctor about this; especially since s/he should've voluntarily provided you with this information upon prescribing the methadone. Just to add though, my findings suggest that 72hrs seems to be a commonly agreed upon window of time for waiting in between taking suboxone and methadone, in order to feel its full effects.
