You may be taking them too close together. Unless your breakfast and lunch are 10 to 12 hours apart, that is most likely the issue. You may want to try taking the second dose a few hours later.
The FDA classifies this medication as an opiate that is most commonly used to treat drug addiction, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Most people only take one a day and 3 would usually not be permitted.
