Absolutely no idea the nightmare that's coming! My adult child, who suffered addiction, most of his life, finally clean on the miracle drug, (Suboxone) for 3 years! Then the dosage cut in half! Caused anxiety, then a whirlwind fall back into opiates!!! My child needs Suboxone!!! And will Always Need, to keep clean! I've been through hell with him! Learned in life, we have to pick and choose our battles! This battle has proven to succeed with Suboxone!!! It's better to be on it, remain on it, don't change the dosage if it works! Then to fall back into the horrible life of drug addiction!!! My feelings are that when someone finally gets the proper help, so called Laws or DEA change things! Our system is messed up! One organization blames the other! Medicaid says they base there judgements on statistics, the drug/medication most used. Those are the ones they/laws/DEA look at and assume must be bad! But in fact, are the ones that work! Or why are they used? I still like the ol' saying," if it's not broken, don't fixit"! People need help, and the system is causing so many to suffer! I think the results are going to be ugly and unjust!

I go to Idahosa too. Have gone there for a long time now. Maybe he takes medicaid/HIP on a patient by patient basis.

I was under the impression Dr idahosa that takes hip is a woman... she takes hip but not accepting patients. I called every week for 3 months, finally gave up...

I got kicked out of program cause i couldnt afford to pay out of pocket anymore. My wife lost her job also. My dr doesnt take H.I.P. or medicaid. And i thought they wanted to help people. Im a big sucker. Anyhow if anyone knws of a dr. in southern indiana that takes H.I.P. or Louisville please help. Also since my dr didnt take medicaid my stupid insurance wouldnt pay for my meds. Which cost me close to 16,000$ last year. I claim it on taxes but that didnt do much of anything. Im def the working poor i also have a wonderful 15 year old son. Thanks...

I pray for you and hope you find a doctor soon. I know it's been the best ever for me. I'm so happy to be away from any pain pill and other things too. I'm in therapy too so it's helping me there too. It's worth every penny. So I'm praying for you. I'm in brownsburg IN and I'm blessed to have found one here.

Good luck finding that. There is hardly any dr that accepts Medicaid cause that way they can have over their limit of patients and it's hard to track it that way.

I just got into Dr butlers office. Try there. It's self pay tho. But at least you will have your meds!

Wow Sara that it's terrible I am so sorry that happened to you honest... These doctors have no idea basically after the first few weeks on suboxone that's it become physically and emotional dependant... It's the worst feeling in the world the helplessness that cuisines us in this position....i hope to Jesus things work out for you!!!!

I'm in Indiana and have hip but having to pay 200 month for a doctor. You will have to drive a bit. People Are driving 3hrs to my doctors location. Cannot believe how hard they make it for people to get better. But can go anywhere for pills. Not understanding this site doesn't allow us to share our emails to others to help someone.

I had a doctor in brownsburg, Indiana. Doctor M. is what i will call him. Subscribed me suboxone 8mg two strips a day. He did me very wrong.. He said there were benzos in my UA. I said no that is wrong..he said he can not treat me anymore. My feelings were hurt so bad, I told him that I have been taking my suboxone like I'm suppose to and that my psychologist prescribes me Zoloft and that's the only other medication I am taking besides suboxone. I was worried, freaked out, I couldn't believe this. I said please give me another diagnostic. One of the nurses gave me a swab. Both of the nurses told me that the UA and swab will be sent to the lab and that if they both come back negative then the doctor will see you again and continue your treatment. Both results came back from the lab as negative. Suboxone is the only thing that came up and then the nurses said the doctor can't treat me after they said he will if my results came back negative. My psychologist told me that Zoloft can cause a false UA. I have called so many doctors and they are full and or don't except medicaid hip. Please help me. I too have 2 boys and one is autistic. I have to get back on soboxone, because I'm taking narcotics so I won't be sick.
