Hi I'm in desperate need. I had a dr but he got arrested. I'm sure you can figure out who! Lol don't have the crapful of money you need to go to the Drs and no one seems to be taking new hip patients. Even tried calling out of state. Any ideas? I may have an appt on Monday but sick till then. Not fair to my kids. Funny that this crap is more addictive then the percocets I was on 8 yrs ago. Had I known well I wouldn't be in this situation. It was a lifesaver as the same time as it wasn't. Thanks Alicia

I feel your pain I been clean for about a month and my Dr basically scammed me and dropped me...I don't want to go back to drugs either the days without my subs and I'm already feeling the anxiety of going without...I called every Dr around my area that's listed there all full Idk what to do anymore. It's really disheartening for addicts that take the final step ti get clean just to get smacked down...just keep trying eventually something has to happen

Unfortunately I still have not found anywhere to go. I really don't know what to do anymore besides to give up. I don't want to go back to drugs at all but I don't know what to do..I can't take the sickness. Its too hard anymore I xant even slerp anymore because of the withdrawls. I have kids to take care of and I need to be able to work. I have not been able to since last Wednesday. I'm so restless specially my legs, I kick alot and my arms I want to punch or hang from them to stretch them. I take baths every half hour to take the RLS away for 15 min. That's the longest it's helped so far. I need to find a doctor or something. I'd be fine with non narcotic meds to help through this but I can't even get those.. I feel helpless and hopeless.

Desperateforhelp.... don't give up on a solution yet. I remember those days. Not suicidal but just not knowing what I was going to do. Are you able to pay cash if that's the only option? I'll be home in a little while and get some more info to you

I know it doesn't help immediately but after maybe 3 days of taking them vitamins work wonders for energy.. I was on methadone for 9 years and felt with no energy. I was told about Vitadone which is just vitamins instead of payin 31 dollars for Vitadone I was told by the nurse it was just vitamins that I can get at any drug store.. They work!

I called Avon urgent care as soon as u told me about it but they aren't taking new patients I wish I could even just get non narcotic meds like nurotin for the restlessness but that's even impossible.. Idk what to do

Unfortunately the only side effect of subutex is lack of energy... Wish my doctor prescribed adderal lol addict thinking sorry... Been struggling last couple months with my energy level. I feel like I did before I became an addict except some days have only enough energy for work and that's a struggle.. Anyone have any suggestions?

Hi desperateforhelp. You're so welcome. I know how it is. Avon takes all kinds of insurance but my Dr will only take insurance if the insurance company pays top dollar... which anthem hip doesn't. I pay 185 a visit and hip would only pay 89. I want to stick with him because he still gives me my adderall and cough medicine when I need it. That's a no no for most suboxone doctors. Anyways, definitely call Avon urgent care and I'll post a few more when I get off tonight. Good luck to you again!

That's not true. I'm in suboxene therapy and my insurance does cover my dr. appt thing is that you have to go to a counselor. I see a dr in Bloomington.

Chris I'm sorry that happened to you. There are definitely places that do take insurance for suboxone but it's about finding them. Avon urgent care in Avon does. My doctor told me that he can't take hip insurance for sub program so I've been paying about 200 a month but i just got my hip statement and found out that they're charging my insurance too. Trying to be careful how i handle it cause i don't want him to cut me off but in really pissed off. Any advice on what i should do without getting put out of the clinic???Good luck everyone!!!

I have encountered a scan doctor before as well, it's very depressing when you seriously want the help!! Sorry you went thru that but yes doctors in Indiana take all kinds of insurance. I have h.i.p. and have found myself a decent doctor. I even cussed him to filth on my first visit and he still continued to see me!!

No Dr in indiana takes any insurance fir suboxone therapy. They will allow you to file insurance though to pay for your medicine. I just paid 500 dollars. Three hundred the first visit. then told me I had to come back in a week with another two hundred to get my monthly meds. I went in six days after going clean and she gave me a U/A. When Dr came in I told her that I was gonna fail for marijuana because I had some the night before I came in..she said my results were positive for methadone which I hadn't taken for about a week. She said it clears your body in three days but I don't believe that because if that was the case I would have passed. I am seriously upset and felt like I've been scammed. For once I do the right thing for what to be broke and sick..yeah.
