Need a doctor who prescribes suboxone in Indiana - i am on medicaid.

Mommy of 3 I know your in Bloomington but you said you were willing to do anything. Anthem HIP also as you provides transportation; however if it's over 50 miles they have to send a long distance trip approval form over to Anthem to get the ride approved but they will approve it. The following Dr does accept Anthem HIP for the visit and you already know Anthem will cover the script. Please contact Dr. Harishchandra Rathod 1641 S. US Highway 231 Crawfordsville, IN 47933 at 765-307-7146. If you get in and need transportation via your insurance make sure to contact scheduling several days prior to your visit so they can get the approval sent over to Anthem in time to get the trip approved. If you do get in please let me know as I really hope you do so you can get your life back. :)

I have a doctor already I'm not sure who that was for? I'm not in Bloomington either maybe got confused in this thread I'm trying to help who is needing one but I already have one and it is always great to know of others just in case

Dr jones at Indiana Psychiatry 317-884-1752 will prescribe subutex.

Amanda, please give me info. I am currently in an iop program and am looking for Dr for follow up care that will accept medicaid as I have a disability hearing the end of June and no current income. Thank you

Ms. Fortune, Thank you for this reply. I just called Dr. Office and was able to get an appointment with my medicaid!! So very happy and stress free today!!

I agree! I went at one in Indy was refused meds! Told me go to meetings! Don't anyone waste their time!

I have been going to journey road since they opened in January, a couple of my friends had appointments last week and DR. Vance called them and told them not to come in that he called their script in because the people the doctor was working under wasn't paying bills or nothing. So now I had a appointment the 19th, they have not called me yet, so now I searching for another dr, ASAP!!!!!

Kellys I go to J.R. also. Did you say that the Dr. said that people (the patients) weren't paying their bills? I just wondered because I've paid in full everytime but I've wondered if they took partial payments or if they refused to give the medicine if the person didn't all or pay all. Just wondering.

So, medicaid anthem hip will pay for your doctor's visit and your meds? So cover everything? I need to know I'm planning on going this Friday! I'm sick and tired of my disease running my life! If they do cover everything that would take a lot of stress of me! I'm going through an awful family ordeal at this time! I need a good sub doc asap! Thanks

Bam yes it will pay for both visit and mess but the problem is finding a Dr that takes the insurance for visits. They are only allowed to have so many sub/hip patients. Like 100 I believe. Alot have waiting list.

Thinking about getting off the H, and getting on Suboxone. I have HIP. I can afford the office visits, but will my HIP cover the cost of the medicaiton? Don't think I can afford both. This all depends on me finding a doc of course.

Yes it does cover the Suboxone fully I have had it covered 23 months now. I pay 8 co pay sometimes other it's free. Just need prior authorization done so will be covered.

N Yes it will cover your mess at the pharmacy. I think journey road is still taking patients. It's 300 up front then 175 a month. I'm so happy that I finally starting going. I don't have to worry about going to jail or if I'll be able to get out of bed that day if I can't find any pain pills. It's really helped me so far and I plan on sticking to the plan and weaning down and off the s***.

What area are you looking to go to? My son sees Dr Britt in Louisville ky. He's fantastic. $225 a month. And he has HIP also. It covers his meds with no copay. Dr Britt' s office gets a prior authorization and it's good for 6 months so you don't have to get one every month and wait

Does the API clinic give subutex? I have hip anthem I'm planning on going today! Will I hafta have pre authorization for my meds? Just a little worried cause it us Friday and I won't be able to get there til around 3! Anyone have any insight on this?!!! Help! I'm nervous about it!.....

Any kind of Suboxone it's a controlled substance so yes have to have PA no matter what insurance. Sorry they will give you a three day supply too so make sure to have them call and approve that. Pharmacy will call and get that approved for you since this is just for waiting on PA
