Need a doctor who prescribes suboxone in Indiana - i am on medicaid.

I went to Dr.Segal years ago and I remember thinking it was expensive! But wow, I had no idea I was even spending that much! Don't seem right to me. I certainly can't afford that these days but thank you for your input much appreciated!

Can I see this doctor although I do live in Indiana? That's affordable! A long drive but once a month wouldn't be so bad. I used to go to a methadone clinic everyday so I know about the hassle. Pray they take me! I hafta see about getting myself there. I hope the best for your son! This never stops you always go right back. Never give up on him! I wish I had a parent that even took the time to help me! So kudos on bring there for him ! Thanks for the help

Lisa where are you located? my son sees Dr Britt in Louisville ky he lives in in indiana and has HIP PLUS insurance.And they took him as a ppatient immediately.

I live near Greenfield,Indiana and am having a hard time with it. Can anyone help plz? Have an appointment at the end of the week!! Last dr u had was very far away and super expensive but wouldn't give me a script even though I've peed clean since day one. Dr b4 that got arrested.now it seems to be all about the money and not helping with this horrible disease!! Been clean for 2 long now to screw this up! What am I to do between now and my apt?

Thank you Mommyof3! Im good now! I was never into the heavy drugs like H. Just had a pill problem. To stop the pill problem i thought to get into the Buetamorphine program. Had i known that this was the worse then any pill hangover that it was more like wothdrawl from H i would have never joined. I feel more like an addict then i did before except it's legal. Its crazy. You have Drs that Want you on it for lifeor ones who will wean you. My dr. Who got arrested might not have chrvked my bblood pressure but he was one who wanted you off the medz. Dea should think of that stuff and about the patients. I had 7 left from my script that they took when it happened. Not cool at all. They left people suffering. Now none take ins. Except a very few and Irs expensive as all get out for the drs and the medicine. Nuts but ty mommaof3

Mommy of 3.. I'm a mommy of 5.. I was on suboxone in the past n did well for 6 years.. The DEA busted and arrested him and though I should of been off them by then i was cut cold turkey ..Since I hv lost my kids (Im fighting hard for now) I got on opioids and had open-heart surgery in dec of 2015 from opioid usage.. Ive been out of the hospital for about 6 weeks and im on Fentanyl.. This is bs.. I need a suboxone program to get my life together for me n my kids.. I have Anthem HIP but I can't find anyone who takes it or anyone with a wait list under 6 weeks.. I'm in Bloomington Indiana but will do what it takes.. PLEASE.. I need HELP!!!

Mommy of 5 can I ask you something? Can you afford to pay the monthly visit? The insurance cover the meds 100% but it is too hard to find one who takes the insurance. Avon Urgent Care does and you get put on waiting list. Not saying that I haven't seen people call and get a call back that week. I hear that all the time. I was never lucky cause they skipped me I know. But I hear others call thinking it'll be a month before they call back and hell two days later had a spot. Amazing. 317-271-3600 is their contact number and their website is avonurgentcare.net. Now that's the only place I know but others charge monthly and I have to do that. Beats paying for all the pain pills and it's cheaper in the long run. I have been clean 23 months now so amen. Please let me know what they say babe. Prayers. Wish I could give you my # but they really don't let me lol. Praying

Api clinic, Dr Allan mckay, Dr simon feng, is some docotrs that except medicaid for visit and prescription. Also Raj clinic whom I don't recommend. Api is a walk in clinic I love them. Hope this helps
