Do they dose you there for the first dose I mean? At the API clinic? I hope they are on it. I got as low as I could on the opiates and I'm just feeling awful! I was worried about it being so late in the afternoon on a Friday! Hopefully they are on it!

Went to API clinic. I asked before I drove over an hour if I needed to be in withdrawal. I was told to come in and talk to their doctor! He informs me I have to come back with two clean drug panels! So anyone on hip don't waste your time unless u live next door to the damn place!

Anyone got info on Louisville Dr's that take h.i.p. Plus or that are cheaper than 225 the first visit? I'm unemployed waiting for disability hearing, and my I.o.p. I'm currently getting my subs through ends next week. Any help or info about anyone in southern Indiana who is reasonable or every other month would be greatly appreciated!

Does API require two clean drug panels for everyone?

Ugh I just got the same call from JourneyRoad. This is ridiculous! I transferred from another facility bc he told me they were about to be shut down - and Journey Road planned on being around for awhile.... 3 months later, they closed. If you were able to find a doctor - pls let me know.

Jon & Ms L, I haven't heard this or got a call yet and I'm a patient there. That is not cool. How long have you guys been a patient? I've been going there for about 3 months. I wonder if they really are closing or what the deal is. They didn't schedule you, your next apt.?

I have been going there since January. I transferred to JourneyRoad bc my original doctor was acting weird - kept talking about the DEA & acting like I was lying to him. At my initial appointment, Dr. Raham said the DEA was investigating them, they were about to be shut down BUT JourneyRoad planned on being around for awhile.

I think they just decided to close. I am wondering what is going on or what happened. I am pretty upset bc Dr. Raham seemed to actually care for his' patients, not to mention that I was actually under the impression that they were expanding. I am going to see if I can find anything else out, but you may want to call & verify this info for yourself. My follow-up appt was on 6/22. I had received a confirmation text for my appt on friday, plus the confirmation phone call on mon 6/20. Then on Tues 6/21, my boyfriend told me he had a voicemail from a drs office for me. I didn't think it was JourneyRoad bc I had received all those confirmations but it sure was. I think it's weird that they left the voice-mail on his phone instead of mine. But I did talk to Amanda, the lady who does your D/T & vitals. She confirmed this.
I did find a place that is accepting patients, but only on a daily basis. So you'd have to go daily to get your dosage & honesty that's not a realistic option for me right now since I live an hour away, but if you're located in Indy then I'd be glad to share the info with you.

Wow. My appt. is next week so I wonder if they are going to call me the day before and tell me. Geez, I am in Indy not far from there. I think the places that have you come in daily, after a week or 2 they will have you come farther apart. Yes please Id like to know of the one your talking about. What area do you live in? I know of a Dr. In Franklin that I went to 2 years ago for my initial but didn't go back because I wasn't sure of it at the time and now that I've been doing good and everything this happenes. Geez

Yes! I go back to the API clinic tomorrow. I went in the first time with opiates in me. He said two clean drug panels! I took some sub cause I had court the following Monday to keep the monster n jail that abused my kids! Now I'm laying here dying so I can prove myself to him! He said the same to me hon! Go in with nothing n your body and he will prescribe.

My apt is then also. I'm wondering if I should call them but I doubt I'd hear back from them since they don't answer the phone a d they are only open on wed. Im going to call if not I guess I'll have to wait and see and that really sucks. I'll be nervous about it until I know because I was doing really well and don't want to have to find another dr. And pay $400-$600 for a new dr. first time visit

Wow : Ms L, so they just called the day before and cancelled your apt. That is bs. Wonder why they would be closing or if that had something to do with the company not paying the bills like someone else said about them.

BamBam: How much does the API clinic cost? Each visit? Looks like I need to find a new place. This sux.

Renee-- I live outside of anderson I called the API clinic they told me everything was free, also I haven't messages on my patient portal & everything they have not called, usually they call right back

Thanks. I checked the portal also. Nothing new. My appointment is still there. I called the API clinic thinking that it was in Indy but I'll drive there if I got to. They said they accept my insurance which is Hip plus media medwise but she couldn't tell me anymore than to come in. So I'm wondering if I'd have 2 have 2 clean drug panels before I'd get any meds even tho I'm clean besides my meds. I was told by one clinic that if I was recently switching Dr's and clean that I could get my meds right away but don't Dr's also look for people that "Dr shop" meaning that they would be more unlikely to see a patient that was a recent patient of another dr. I don't know lol. J.r. was my first Dr that I stayed with. I went to one initial apt 2 years ago and didn't go back. That was dr. Masimore in franklin. He took medicaid insurance for the visit. I guess I'll just wait and see if anything happens, but if they happen to call you and cancel, let me know please. I'm worried. I hate it.

API is harsh! Went in third time today he gave two days worth no time for pre authorize today so he wants me to come back on Monday! So if you are expecting a high dose or u live far away don't waste your time! He will help I can tell he is terrified to get into trouble!
