kwal2 , it is very difficult to find a dr when you last one was arrested for a drug related offense.

Did you try and schedule another appt. With Dr. Stonger? I was able to. However, they only answer their phones on Monday and Thursday I think. The Bloomington office almost always answers their phones.

Having the same issue. Went to Dr. Ley in Carmel and have been a mess since. Drs won't take me because I went to him. Or I just can't seem to get through a waiting list. Have you had any luck?

After your first visit , u don't have to go back for 30 days?

I've been trying to tell everyone there is a new office open that I just started going to. They are taking patients. It's self pay but if you have mdicaid or hip that will pay for your medicine. And they gave me a card that I can use for 6 months to get up $225 off meds a month if I didn't make insurance. The first month is $300 down then $175 a month after. If you can afford to find a way to buy crap off the street then you should be able to afford the visits. Just sayin.

Anonymous, I don't need the information myself but instead of being critical by saying you've been "trying to tell people", why not just list the information? And if you have listed it in the past, it should've definitely been in your previous message. Your previous message was informative, yet completely irrelevant because you didn't list the doctor. And no one can look at your previous messages because you are one of many" anonymous' people. Just suggesting to be a bit more helpful, if you're really trying to help others

Ya well I am being informative. I keep seeing the same, people asking the same thing about Drs. and I'm just saying if they read back thro the threads and do their homework, regardless of who posted the info, they can find a Dr. And then I see the same people (or maybe their using someones else name) say that they cant afford the visits. I also just saying that if someone has a high enough addiction, and are spending alot on "the streets" or wherever, and they used that $ to see a Drs, they might find out that it's actually cheaper to see a Dr. I think that is informative. I'm not criticising anyone. I'm speaking from my own experience! to help people. Sorry u took it offensive.

So can you pay cash to your doctor if you have medicaid and get your prescription paid for by the insurance my doctors office is saying I can't pay cash for the appt if I have medicaid bc then I don't need medicaid if I do but my payment is only 120

Erica, if you have Medicaid you can pay cash to a dr BUT it can't be a dr that takes Medicaid. Medicaid Laws prevent drs that accept Medicaid from accepting cash from their Medicaid Patients for the same services that Medicaid pays for. Medicaid should pay for your prescription, as long as the prescription would be paid for if you saw a Medicaid dr.

My old Dr. takes medicaid patients mdwise that I know of. So that covers apts too. It's in Franklin tho. May have openings. Dr. Masimore 317-346-7248. Pain Management Solutions. He gives pain meds too, for people that need them.

Erica, I know it doesn't make sense really. But yes you can go pay cash to a dr for visits and get ur hip/medicaid to pay for the meds. Alot of people do that now because it's hard to find a dr. who takes medicaid for visits because a Dr. is only allowed to take 100 patients for sub programs on medicaid. There are so many wait list for that. It's easier o find a dr. Pay for visits and have insurance pay for meds.

Just had a question and wondered if anyone can relate to my situation. I just started at a new Dr. and because I have HIP to pay for my meds the Dr. decided he wants to "try" me on Zubsolv. So I've been on that but I've had a really hard time locating pharmacies that have it in stock because its fairly uncommon or need. They have to order it. I just wondered if anyone else has been on Subsolv and what do you think about it. It's the same exact ingredients as suboxone but a lesser amount BUT it's suppose to work and be as strong as an 8/2 sub. So they say Zubsolv 5.7/1.4 = Suboxone 8/2...HOW tho? they say it's in bio-availability .....

I'm looking do suboxone Dr for a loved one who has HIP PLUS insurance in or near the Madison Indiana area. I do my care if we have to travel to Cincinnati as long as they also have license to write scripts for Indiana. Very desperate. Please help. We even called his insurance and they're so stupid they keep giving him doctors that DO NOT participate with his insurance. If they don't know who does???

I would appreciate your assistance. I have Anthem HIP which is pretty much Medicaid. I am in Indianapolis, IN 46236. I am willing to travel to any side of town, if I could just find one Dr. that is still in the Sub program, his/her panel is not full and they actually accept insurance. The providers I have found that are accepting patients are self pay only. They want anywhere from $300 a month to $550.00

GF, chances are all of the drs that accept Medicaid are full. One of the things that may be changing is the number of patient that are dr can treat, but that will take time. The change will be coming in federal law, if it is changed.

Please can ANYONE help me find a suboxone Dr who can write prescriptions for people with HIP PLUS insurance. I don't mind paying the doctor fee as long as the script is covered by his insurance. I'm desperate here. I'm on the verge of losing my home because I can't get a doctor for him (A loved one). There has to be SOMEONE out there close to Madison Indiana that can prescribe suboxone! He goes to a clinic daily right now and can't afford to go everyday. So they keep lowering his dose then he's in withdrawal for 10 days before they'll up it again and he has to go everyday or they're going to kick him out of program. I think it's terrible that these clinics treat you like crap just because he's trying to straighten his life out. He had a job that starts at 4am and he doesn't get off early enough to get dosed so he had to quit his job because they wouldnt let him have take home meds. No one is helping us. Please i am begging for help. He wants to work and take care of his family but going to this clinic everyday is costing us a fortune. $20 a day for meds and $20 a day for gas. I have given him my rent money, food money and any money i can spare. Im broke just trying to help him stay clean. Im about to be evicted then i will lose my job. This is absolutely ridiculous. It shouldn't be this hard to get off drugs and deal with your addiction. On tv they talk about all the illicit drug overdoses but look what you have to go thru to get help. No wonder addicts say screw it. Please someone out there has to know someone that can help us.
