Suboxone 8mg/2mg And Roxicodone 30's (Page 2) (Top voted first)

I am currently taking Roxicodone 30's each day. I have suboxone 8mg/2mg to help get off of these. I know the suboxones are the best pill made to help with the withdrawals but I'm wondering if for the firsrt 3 to 5 days when I'm having trouble sleeping and feeling clammy, if i should take like half of a Roxicodone 30 (which i have done in the past), as it helps me to sleep and takes away the clammy feeling? Any other suggestions that you may have? Thanks to anyone answering this for me.

@ nichole..this is just my opinion but it sounds like some of what you are feeling are some of the side effects from taking the subs sweetie..and if your doctor isnt helping much maybe consider finding a new doctor..this drug can be dangerous and they are supposed to keep a close watch on you while you are taking it..hope i helped some sweetie god bless and stay strong

Obviously if "sucking it up" was an easy solution when it came to addiction, you wouldn't be visiting/browing thru a website discussing DRUG ADDICTION. Please don't waste peoples time. We know we have to get OFF of drugs that's why we're here. So, once again if anyone has actual HELP/ADVICE as to how to get off 2mg suboxone please help out. Thanks :)

Today is my first day taking suboxone. So far it seems to be helping with the wd symptoms. They gave me the 8 mg film. I really hope this stuff does the trick. I was taking about 2-3 roxy 30's daily for about 6 months- 1 yr.

This isn't easy but once ur on suboxone ur life changes. I'm clean since I took the first suboxone almost 6 months ago. The greatest part about it is that it not only takes away withdrawls but it also keeps u from craving it. I started on 2mg per day and I'm still taking 2mg a day (smallest dose) just to be safe - to make sure that even if I'm put in a situation where roxys are around, I can't do them because they won't even work. And I won't want them

Hi Chris , I'm sorry but I have no idea what mogadon is, but melady, I bet everyone on this post ha taken an entire script of Percs in a way quicker time then you, esp 5s people here are taking 30s x5 at a time, so my question to you is, you are taking subs now? Why? For pain? Or are you a previous addict? If you have never had an addiction to serious mgs of oxy I do not see why you are taking 8mgs of subs, if this is a one time thing and you blew threw 90 perks in a week I could see you being a tad sick when you don't have them but not enough where you couldn't handle it with out subs? Subs are for people who need a quick detox from a bender or for people that need them because they can not get out of bed because they don't have their fix, personally I think you should of only taken a quarter of that 8mg sub and smaller and smaller everyday, subs are just as addicting as herion and you do not want to be in it like the rest of us

@ painful..i have taken subs before and i have sciatica and from my experience they dont do much to relieve pain...and it sounds like you are in ALOT of pain...whats ironic is another use for subs is for treating moderate pain..i would consult with a suboxone certified doctor and speak with them about your concerns hun..god bless and good luck

@ taylor i have been on pain killers also for about 6 yrs and im only 23..i just wanted to say CONGRATULATIONS! and your advice was great! I also need some advice on how to afford the appointments and the scripts for suboxone since i have very low income and NO insurance..any advive would be so appreciated! god bless you and i am so proud of you :)

I was being verbally abused by my suboxone doctor so I requested a new one and was currently at 24mg suboxone (3 8mg) per day, I recorded the abuse on tape and now he has cut my perscription by taking off 8mg in the first 3 days, Im currently not well, and have no doctor supervision, Im in Ottawa Canada and looking for a good doctor who can take paitents. It's getting worse by the day, Im scared and dont know how Im going to take this taper, if anyone has any helpful info please get back to me. Thank youxox

I am new to these suboxone forums however I have done intensive research on this. Most people I know got hooked on opiets due to being prescribed them for pain. As we take them more and more our tolerance goes up and the addiction sets in. I knew that my pain would not go away and always caused me to go back to opiets to relieve the pain and give me energy to function. Finally I said enough is enough and did research on subs. I found out that not only do they get you off opiates but they also work great for pain, depression, and anxiety. Everyone I was reading about complained about the cost. I found out that when prescribed for pain any dr can write the script and ins covvers it. It does help my original pain I was in so now I use it as pain management. Hope this helps.

I don't know why people keep saying you can't take suboxone and normal narcotics at the same time. I took both within hours of each other for a whole year before just being on suboxone. I would take one to undo the bad reaction from the other. It's rare but, I think this could happen when you go from small amounts of painkiller to a higher amount of suboxone. A doctor told me though at a low dose of sub taking a stronger painkiller will eat the suboxone up. DON'T DO THIS! You just go from one withdrawal to the next. I wish I could help, Im trapped on 2mg myself, the only thing that gives me very little relief is smoking pot, but that doesn't help everyone. You are not a crybaby, I would rather go through almost any other pain, than to keep going through this. Some people have minor symptoms, while others get deathly sick People who don't understand another's pain or care to, are weak and will suffer bad one day. Everybody gets sick at one point or another. I wish everone success.

Never start taking suboxone on such a high dose, 8+ mg is CRAZY! Ive been to many sub doctors but finally found one that I feel very comfortable with. He told me right from the start that every licensed sub dr needs to attend a meeting and go thru a bit of "training". In this meeting, they explicitly tell doctors that they WANT PEOPLE TO GET ADDICTED TO SUBOXONE because it's better than having a heroin addiction. I always knew they was something strange going on-- every doctor I met with tried to get me on Atleast 8mg subs a day without even hearing my drug history. This is insane, don't fall for their money profiting schemes. These doctors are obviously getting "benefits" when they give subs. Don't you wonder why 90% of sub docs only take cash? They are greedy rich bastards who really don't give a FCk about u!

Ive been using 2.5+ Mg of H daily for years. This is hell of a lot of H if you didn't know (25 bags, 2 and a half bundle at minimum add Opanas ontop of that on the weekends). Believe it or not, I take 2MG subs to kill w/d. That's it! The people on here taking 3 Roxie's a day habit shoukd not be using more than 1MG sub! Even that is more than enough trust me.

Hi everyone. This forum has helped me tremendously. It is such a relief to know that I'm not the only one in the world dealing with a problem. This is my story. I have been doing 3-5 roxy 30's a day for about 5 months now. I never thought I would lead myself into this mess. I knew I liked doing pills for recreational use and it just got way out of hand. You always go into it thinking "oh this will never happen to me" well guess what it happens so fast and traps you. I feel so helpless and I actually hate myself right now that I have done this to myself. I already have bad anxiety and worry a lot and pills have made it worse. I am moody all the time and crazy thoughts run in my head. I have a good job and worked so hard for that job and I don't wanna mess it up over some stupid pills that don't even get u high anymore. I have been trying to get the courage for awhile now to quit but I'm terrified to feel these withdrawls because I can't be sick looking at work. When I wake up I feel achy and immediately have to take a pill to feel better. I also get a bad stuffy/runny nose and pain in my stomach. Well tomorrow I have off from work and I have to work the following two days. Well I have one 8mg suboxene strip that I'm gunna cut into 2mg each do I will have 4 little pieces 2 mg for 4 days and then plan to stop using te suboxene and deal with that pain bc I feel it will be way less worse then just coming off the Roxies well....I'm just terrified. Will this work. I plan to wait as long as possible tomorrow to feel withdrawls bc I know everyone says to wait bc I don't wanna go into precipitated withdrawls and get even more sick. I'm just worried I will feel like hell for work and I can't be like that l. I'm also terrified about getting piss tested at work and losing my job I worked so hard for and then my life is over. I just want any advice at all if anyone can PLEASE help in anyway. Will my withdrawls be gone? Will I have energy for work? Will people be able to tell something is wrong with me. I also have some xanax to help me sleep and with anxiety. I'm just SCARED OUT OF MY MIND to feel these withdrawls and I know I have done this all to myself and deserve to feel this pain. I just wanna be the same person I was. I wanna be normal. I look at all my friends and just want to be like them not depending on something to make me feel ok. This is not fun anymore. I will never ever touch another pill again. Please anyone reading this that just started pills don't do it!!! Look away from it. It is seriously the devil and just sucks you right in and in a blink of an eye you have a problem. Please I'm begging someone to please help. Im just scared this suboxene will not work and I will feel terrible and will end up in the hospital. Ive talked to people that do way more than me and they say the suboxene works and I will be fine I just have to stop worrying bc I'm just making myself sick. Which is true. I know the best thing is to not think of it. I just have to get past these 2 days of work. And does anyone know how long it will take the pill to come out of my system for a clean urine test? I can't wait till this is in my past and I can say its over and start a new life and wake up feeling like myself again and happy and motivated. This has turned me into someone I never want to be. I have Gatorade stocked up and I know I need to drink a lot of water. I also can't wait to be able to go to the bathroom normal not to sound gross but I have been so constipated and scared I will never poop normal again. Please someone any advice I will be happy to hear from you. I'm starting this tomorrow like I said. So I need it ASAP. I will also keep all of you updated to how I feel in hopes it will help someone else. It's good to know I'm not alone. Even though I feel like it. THis has been Incredibly helpful! Right now i feel like im in love w you and i don't even care what sex you are! I have been trying to get clean with Suboxan for 3 days and am not sure why on the third im still covered in sweat!!! But of coarse, its not that i didnt take it, its that i didnt take Enough, For once in my life!!My dear friend i hope you the best rest of your life. This happens to me all the time. Its actually when you wake up half way in the middle of a dream. has nothing to do with drugs or pills. I do way over 90 mgs of roxy s a day pretty close to 200 300 mgs. well not anymore ive been on subs for 1 year. But just wanted to tell you that. Cuz when you try to move you cant but after a min you can right! like you have to concentrate real hard!
