Suboxone 8mg/2mg And Roxicodone 30's (Page 19) (Top voted first)

I am currently taking Roxicodone 30's each day. I have suboxone 8mg/2mg to help get off of these. I know the suboxones are the best pill made to help with the withdrawals but I'm wondering if for the firsrt 3 to 5 days when I'm having trouble sleeping and feeling clammy, if i should take like half of a Roxicodone 30 (which i have done in the past), as it helps me to sleep and takes away the clammy feeling? Any other suggestions that you may have? Thanks to anyone answering this for me.

The best way to get over is through. Yes, Suboxone will definitely make all the difference in your success. To pass a urine screen you only need a valid Rx and I've read if your Dr prescribes it for pain as well as opiate addiction most insurance takes care of the high cost. You won't need to stay on it long, as 5 mos is not very long for an addiction. However when you're in the midst of withdrawals it doesn't matter how long it's all the same. Suboxone helps control your compulsive obsessive tendencies and works best with meditation and teaching yourself to stay in this moment, this moment, now this one. Don't look so far ahead bc your desire to quit has already started the ball rolling. Don't be so hard on yourself and it's nothing to be ashamed of. You are young to have such concerns about a good job and from what I have seen and heard -and I am 60 yrs old and started this karma at 20yrs. Best of luck to you and remember you're not alone. Don't hide from your creator. It's a waste of much needed energy when you should be seeking him out. I am proud of and for you. Go easy on yourself and don't minimize your accomplishments. Ive been on pretty much any pain killer i can get my hands on for about 6-7 years now. I have taken subs in detox a few years ago and they worked great. I think they were either the 2mg or 4 mg tablets. I really need to get a prescription of them but i have no insurance and just started a new job..havent even gotten paid yet lol. How can i afford the apointments and scripts? Im in my 20s and i cant do this forever. Also, can the suboxone doctor prescribe antianxiety meds with them bc i have anxiety and panic attacks almost every day. thanks to all of you for your time.

Well the suboxen does nothing for pain.sorry to tell u the badnews my friend. But on the plus side it WILL stop ur withdrawals comen off opiates.@

Well u people are all diffrent. personally i had to take 10 to 12 roxy 30s to feel any kind of buzz. i do know its possibly but why would u do both knowing u can't fully enjoy the opiate with out taking a ton. i use to take a sub one day then the next a bunch of pills. but try doing them a couple hours after a syb. umpossible... I've been there done that so that's great u got a buzz a whole half a day later but not me.. in my experience i only tried doing pills a couple times after taking a sub because it just wasn't worth it. but i stuck to the subs and haven't done any pills in 2 years.. so subs work. granted dope works way better after doing a sub.. but the longer u wait the better. ex user and abuser now a suboxone consular

Hi Freddy, Be sure to wait at least 16-18 hrs before taking subs. If your determined to use the subs start off with as little as possible. The subs are unbelievably strong. Try 2mg and wait an hour then try another 1 or 2mg. I was taking 16-18 30mg oxy a day and dr. started me on 12mg. I found out I didn,t need that much. Get off them just as quick as you can. I,m guessing your doing this on your own. If your going to a sub dr. do what he says. Be careful because they over medicate with this stuff.

I am so grateful I read your post. um im new to this...please bare with me. I've been addicted to percocet 10/325 for 3 years usually taking 6 or 7 daily but only prescribed 4. Long story short, Im sick of letting pills run my life constantly worrying about running out and finding extras. So today I was out and couldn't find any percs so someone gave me 2 suboxone strips to help me. I took 1 yesterday 8mg/2 and tapered every 2 hours and today took whole strip all at once at 1:00pm. They worked and Im grateful but I dont have anymore and Im starting to feel a little sick. . How do I get thru tonight? Im sure i should have enough suboxone left in my system to prevent withdrawals tonight or at least I hope I do. Please give me some advice. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

So I am quitting 30 mgs blues. Ive been doing them since september now and it February right now, Im excited to be clean and looking forward to it. Im down to just 2 blues a day 30 mgs each. so 60 all together. tomorrow im taking my last Roxy then im starting up the suboxone. let me know when i should start it up and everything. the suboxons are 8mg so should i take them in qurters? how will i feel on them. Roxys are hard to kick I been on them for a year six 30s per day... I am now down to one 30 a day. Forget the suboxone... Ween yourself off them .. Take xanex or soma to sleep maybe a 60mg morphine.. It does get better. Day 1-4 sux but u just take enough of ur blue not to be sick... You can control it. Force yourself to walk it sux but blood flow promotes healing.....
