Suboxone 8mg/2mg And Roxicodone 30's (Page 9) (Top voted first)

I am currently taking Roxicodone 30's each day. I have suboxone 8mg/2mg to help get off of these. I know the suboxones are the best pill made to help with the withdrawals but I'm wondering if for the firsrt 3 to 5 days when I'm having trouble sleeping and feeling clammy, if i should take like half of a Roxicodone 30 (which i have done in the past), as it helps me to sleep and takes away the clammy feeling? Any other suggestions that you may have? Thanks to anyone answering this for me.

I am on day 3 detox I was doing about two blues a day for about two weeks and have been taking some sort of pain killer dose every day for months maybe even a year and I just got some subs bc I needed to feel like myself I was desperate for something to calm me down I've been coping with sleep by taking vitamins around the clock and I feel so much better but today is day 3 since I've cut cold turkey and I don't ever want to touch that stuff again I am right with you when I say I could have a free box of Roxie's and not be tempted bc I'm so happy to see this poison slowly leave my system it has been really hard and I have been taking vitamins around the clock including anti stress vitamins and restless leg tablets as well as melatonin and have gotten a glorious amount of sleep with some Ganja to help as well! I feel better every day I know Ihave a long way to go but I just need some advice in terms of taking the suboxone and Xanax I have very smal doses only .5 mg when my heart races and I feel anxiety and the subs I have only had pieces of one once per day I wanted to stop taking them today but I suffer from severe back pain and feel I need to get my body back to health and I Need more info on how to take these things to get my body back to full health. I'm so happy to hear your doing well and f there is any advice you have please respond I will appreciate it thank u!!!

You were taking 2 roxy's a day and now you're taking subs? Did a dr prescribe that or are you doing it on your own? I'm just curious.

What are "restless legs tablets"? Restless leg syndrome SUCKS- I would've killed for something that helped with them when I was going thru this. I'm interested to find out what they are.

They think I'm taking 3 a day but really I only take the suboxone when I'm feeling a craving and either don't have the money or really am trying to quit that day. I'm trying to stay positive but even today didn't go so well so it's gonna be a long road. I did buy a 21 day journal that helps you make or break a habit.. but that's irrelevant.. maybe it'll help though.

I've been trying to quit opiates for ahwile I've been taking methadone for 6 years hydros mixed in when I was out and over the last year ridge n morphine. I want to find a way to get suboxone but no where in eastern Washington takes insurance they want cash up front. Do you know any way around that? Can't really afford to buy em from anyone they're 25 a peice here n the cheapest treatment place is 450 a week. You know any ways around all that up front I have military insurance.

You won't die from the klonopin with the subs- but it's a benzo and benzos & subs should only be mixed under strict drs care.

Did a dr really put you on subs for a 3 perc per day habit? That's the equivalent of taking an armored tank with fully loaded automatic weapons to a fist fight. Unbelievable.

Hey guys! Glad i found this page, turns out i am not alone..whew! Although i wouls not wish withdrawls on my worst enemy! Guess ill share my story. Im 23 female...ive been addicted to hydrocodones since i was 19 or so. Ive been off and on, tapered myself off a couple times and been through some rough withdrawls. About a year ago i got back on pills, about six months ago tried H and that quickly spiraled outta control here i am six months later ive said enough is enough and im going on about day two of withdrawls. Had a couple hydrocodones to ease with withdrawls. Ive gOt 1 suboxone 8mg/2mg left i have work in the morning, when should i take my soboxone? Please help how l lOng am i supposed to wait? :/

Hello, I was on a high dosage of those lovely blue pills for two years . I quit cold tukey with two subs and suffered a lot. I should have used more subs but was afraid. I have had a relaps and started taking them again four months ago. I was down to 4 or 5 a day now and tomorrow am starting subs. I have two. DO you think I will have ashard a time as the last time? I was on 8 a day bfore andfo alonger period of time. I do not feel so sick when I go a long time between dose unlike last time I felt sick after thee hours without one. I am so worried am a singe mom daughter getting married in two months. I am searching for a place to live, this has consumed me and affected my living situation. I am waiting ot hear about a new condo and cant keep this up I need to battle this demon once and for all.

Thank you fr your response. I am aware of the Suboxone withdrawals. I completely agree with you they are worse than the opiate by far. If you can just take them for the first week then I suggest that. Yes separating from all contacts is a key component. I have chosen to take myself off of them , and deal witha brain disease without opiates. The Dr's love to use use it as a cure.

Not very positive info to give someone trying to get off and get their life together... Trust me i'm going through withdraws and its hell. Litterally by far he hardest thing I have ever done. Trust me take the subs they are the only things that get me through a day otherwise I feel like i'm dieing... just think 3 to 7 days of hell to get the rest of your life back an plus u never have to feel dope sick again..... Well worth it.

When I stopped I i experienced the WD chills , well goosebumps for about 45 days. TO start with the subs I try to takeas little as possible as thy scare me more. I have been on them from doc for a few months and stopping those was far worse than the opiate WS. Anyway, I try with half a 8mg sub. If in an hour I still feel off, I take anohter 1/4. That usually doesit for me , and everyone is different. The opana is something you should be aware of. THis is a time relase and I beleie hat I read somewhere it stays in your system longer than any other time release. If you can stop these for a day or two before youstart the subs, i wouldsuggest this,.I have aways taken the subs 12 hours after my last pill was taken. I take then the sub spoke of in the morning and another 1/4 in the evening. I take another 1/2 sub the next morning and see if that lasts all day. Sometimes I am ok until he next morning. THe third ay I take a 1/4 sub amd by day 5 I nl take them if I feel like I am having symptons. I feel like once I get past the first 7 days I am ok, THen I look at the next milestone of 2 weeks. The goosebump feeling does start to lessen each day but i took 2 months last time. I am starting all this next eek all oer again. It is so hard to remain, lets facit, when we ue it heps to deal with whatever we need to in life. The depression is the hardest. I read how people say go see a terapit and excedrcise helps to lssent he WDs with teh oxygen to the brain , blah blah blah. I do not at to even leave he house to go to work let alone go talk to someone on the couch and feel like a bigger loser than I feel I am? THat does gt better thouh once you look in the mirror and see how much healthier you look. People will notice that you look better and comment. For me, I became friends with somne that helped me out of that deep dark place, however their friendship was not long term and I do not think that helped much. I am in a better place mentally and think that I can move forward and hope to stay off everything. I do not thnk you need that muc to tart but as I said eveyone is different. Start with a half and wait an hour. IF not better then take the other half. I will not take them fo more tan a week , the physical WD are over usually for me by then. Your issue in th ebeginning is the Opana, the time release lasts a long time, IF you can again stop those for a day or two and just take the 30 Roxi for a few days I think you will respond better to the subs. I wish you luck as I am going down the same path next week, I put myself on a schedule. COntact me whenever you wish!!

I get random dizzy spells like im gona pass out and out of nowhere my heart starts pounding and face gets really hot and clammy hands . I think you should talk to ur doc. But yes its going to take a min. Im sorry ur going threw this. Did ur doc say take a piece? I jus want u to feel bttr. But im telling u ask God what in ur body is rejecting what? Plz listen to ur body. Not 1 person is the same.

you should know that barbituates and suboxone can be fatal mix....I suffer from epilepsy and was hospitalized for seizure induction..the specialist at a renowned hospital informed me that when I began to seize they could not administer ativan (typical protocol drug pushed to stop convulsions) because I am on subs....I was terrified that they wouldn't read my records at shift change and a doc would push barb's without realizing sub treatment.....my physician has lost 2 patients by interaction of nerves/subs

I too have this happen to me I. . Taking .05 xanax 4 times day plus MSCONTIN 60 mgs. Every 12 hours at first it scared me but it has been harmless. I hope you are able to understand what and why it's going on. It s most likely a side effect.

I take 4 2mg Xanax & 3 30mg addera daily. I've been taking a lot of Roxy, Oxycottin, 100 mg morphine pills & dilata. I don't need anything for pain & was told by my therapist to look for something called Suboxen to avoid the temptation. I'm having agonizingly horrible withdrawals now.
