Suboxone 8mg/2mg And Roxicodone 30's (Page 12)

I am currently taking Roxicodone 30's each day. I have suboxone 8mg/2mg to help get off of these. I know the suboxones are the best pill made to help with the withdrawals but I'm wondering if for the firsrt 3 to 5 days when I'm having trouble sleeping and feeling clammy, if i should take like half of a Roxicodone 30 (which i have done in the past), as it helps me to sleep and takes away the clammy feeling? Any other suggestions that you may have? Thanks to anyone answering this for me.

Muscle relaxer or an anti anxiety drug like valium or xanax but use small doses and only for a week while doing a quick detox.Long drawn out detoxes are usually not successful.Will power is real important.find it in your self and use a good doctor.Be honest and tell the doc i am willing to go through some discomfort to get this done but i need to get sleep at night.stay as active as you can during the day and get off the stuff quick.Easier and you can do this.We all can!

I was taking 8 30's a day and 10 mg. 10/325 in between for off set pain, and My Doc gave 8 of those also.I used to never think I had a problem cause " I was getting them prescribed from a Doctor" I was only kidding myself. Yes, I honestly am in pain everyday between neck and back,left arm, tingling and numbing fingers, a lot of arthritis etc. My Doctor just picked up one day and LEFT!! I was seeing him10 years! I go to my appt.one day as usual, they didn't even call anyone and let them know, but a sign was taped on the door, SORRY, due to illness in Doc's Family he had to move out of state where his family is and wont be back, everyone needs to find another Doctor!!!???What did I just read? Everyone panicked, that's when the reality of being an addict set in!! I Could NOT find ANY Doctor who would give me what he did. So I just had IV's in my spine. I HAD to do something for the pain!! If one more Doctor tells me to go home and take Motrin Im going to tell them to shove it up their ass. It made me sick cause I had to take so many a day cause I had no other choice and actually threw them up!!! So after explaining all that, I went to Suboxone,8mg.-2mg. They helped with the withdraw, NO WAY did they help for PHYSICAL PAIN,and my advice to you is IF you HAVE to take suboxone which it sounds like you do like me, take it and get off of it AS SOON AS YOU CAN!!!! You will drag ass for a while cause I did for a good 2 months, but I could lay around and do it cause I don't work. My husband cant get off them cause he works and there is NO WAY he could feel the sickness from the subs or oxycodone 30,s . Hes off the 30.s and is on the Subs.but as I said, he has to stilltake the subs. at work just to feel normal so no one can tell.I just keep telling him to still try to wean while he does it, if he needs another little piece than try it that way. He is a half of case of beer drinker a night if not a whole case, at least about 15 beers a night, so I think that's also the reason hes having a harder time than me, and he smokes MORE cigs. since he got on the suboxone. I can only advise him,than we end up arguing cause he says Im nagging him to leave him alone. Plus I think hes sneaky!!! Hes NOT trying to slow down or wean off!!!! I KNOW it, Im NOT DUMB, But theres still no darn reason to HAVE to take 2 a day!!!!! I tried to tell him 1 a couple days, than half a couple days etc. I explained the way I did it and it WORKED GREAT!!!!! NO WITHDRAWAL AT ALL!!!!!!!! I was so, so, HAPPY, cause I was scared something could happen like seizure etc. cause Im on Psych. Meds. too. 1mg.Klonopine 3 times a day and a lot more id rather not say all , Im sure you understand. Well, GOOD LUCK< and I HOPE THIS HELPED!!!!!

I zhave been takinv roxys for a while now and for the the last two days i have been taking oc 20's to lower my tolerance i have four roxys can i start tomorrow? I took 3 20 oc's today?

I was using anywhere from 3-6 80s daily. I went to the doc and got on subs half in the am and a half pm. I'm down to a half once a day now and bn clean a little over a year. I have never taken over 12 mg in a single day and I've had great success with Suboxone.

I went on a binge about 4 roxi 30's for about 9 days Can feel it already when they start to wear off Havnt been on them that long but know I will feel withdrawals. Do you think 12 hours is long to wait enough and what induction dose do you think I should start with? Thanks

Hi Freddy, Be sure to wait at least 16-18 hrs before taking subs. If your determined to use the subs start off with as little as possible. The subs are unbelievably strong. Try 2mg and wait an hour then try another 1 or 2mg. I was taking 16-18 30mg oxy a day and dr. started me on 12mg. I found out I didn,t need that much. Get off them just as quick as you can. I,m guessing your doing this on your own. If your going to a sub dr. do what he says. Be careful because they over medicate with this stuff.

I was dosing the same as you 10-30's a day. Tapered down to 5 the next day, got my subs, at about 6 pm and took no roxys at all that day. Then did 1/2 2mg sub every 6 hours for first 2 days. Then one a day after that. I haven't taken any roxy at all since. Going on 4 weeks. You should get to early wd's: sick /shaky/clammy/ no sleep. Then take the subs. They replace the roxy. And after day 2, the roxy won't have any effect on you.

FYI.... if you are starting to start taking subs, please wait till the next day when you wake up, so if u took ur last rosy at 8 pm you should be fine for when you wake up to start taking subs, I take 8mg strip right when I wake up and another around 5pm. I have been on them for 3 years . When you stay on them a long time like me you will need them everyday . So if you want to use them just to detox do not use more then 5 days! If you think you are going to use roxy/oxys/dope again you may want to stay on sub maintaince like me, I'll be a lifer. I do not want to go back and forth with subs and pills, I know the subs are helping me keep my s*** together and take care of my family an have a stable job! There are no right or wrong answers, a dr is the best place to be for help! I also suggest you do not mix benzos with subs! In huge warnings all over the suboxone packaging it says that mixing them can cause death! And honestly that is how people are dying from subs! Don't be stupid when trying to get off pills or dope! If you are prescribed valium or Xanax you should def be at the sub dr so they can monitor you, I know for a fact my sub dr will not take you if you are taking benzos, some drs may! Idk that is how it is in CT! If you use subs correctly on the same schedule everyday you will soon feel better and back on the right track! Good luck everyone !

I have been on three films a day 8/2 today I only had one this am till 8 days from now I can't be sick that long can I take 30 mg Roxie one a day yo get by till I here my script not what I want to do bit for personal reasons I can't be sick I have pretty fast matabilism when would I be able to take it to keep me from being sick n how long do I have to wait and will one a day work need answer ASAP like noe lol Thank-you

I am in 2mg of suboxzine for the next week and then my Dr. Is done doing the program... the c wait list to get into see another Dr.is 1year around here. . what should i do .. NY Dr. Said I should be fine without 2ng.I may be a bit uncomfortable he said but only b last c for 4to 5 days where cits such a low dose ..

Stephanie, Start today on 1mg for a week. The next week taper to .5 for a week. The next week taper to .25 for a week. Then jump. If you have a two week supply left you can do this. This may be a good time to get off subs for you. If your not ready make sure your dr. writes you a script with a refill on it to hold you until you find another sub dr. Anyway you look at it 2mgs is too high to jump from. If ttheres no other way beg ask him for script for Clonodine and something to make you sleep. Your drs. got it wrong. You,ll start to really feel the wds in 3-4 days because of the long halflife of subs. I,m no dr. I,m just familar with suboxone. How long have you been on 2mgs?

Hi please help ive been addicted to oxys hydro and methadone fir almost 7 years now only swallowed them im up to a 400 mg a day habbit and need to get off ive moved out of state and cant get any and just want to stop I have children to take care of and just cant take the withdrawls took them mostly to escape an emotionally abbusive marriage so I could never tell him or have support he would use it against me any way he could I have 60 8 mg generic subutex I took 16 mg and still feel some withdrawl should I take more till I stabaleize I just want off everything but cant take being sick mentslly or physically noone c as n help me with the kids either so that makes it hard too pls help if u can im desperate

Hey helplessly, If you do take more just try a couple mgs at a time until you feel right. I know the pills are hard to cut. Try to stay on that dose once /day for week or two then come down a couple mgs every week. Get your dose low. You won,t feel the tapers bad until you get real low. Then its still not bad.

I had surgery last week broke my shoulder arm and fractured my elbo and wrist i went threw 90 5 mil perks in a week i was not trying to feel high just relieve my pain i have had many surgerys in the past forgot how i stoped the pain med my question i took a 8 milg sub this morn will that get me through plus i was thinking taking 4 mil tomorrow and 4 the next day I'M S00 confused .

Hi Chris , I'm sorry but I have no idea what mogadon is, but melady, I bet everyone on this post ha taken an entire script of Percs in a way quicker time then you, esp 5s people here are taking 30s x5 at a time, so my question to you is, you are taking subs now? Why? For pain? Or are you a previous addict? If you have never had an addiction to serious mgs of oxy I do not see why you are taking 8mgs of subs, if this is a one time thing and you blew threw 90 perks in a week I could see you being a tad sick when you don't have them but not enough where you couldn't handle it with out subs? Subs are for people who need a quick detox from a bender or for people that need them because they can not get out of bed because they don't have their fix, personally I think you should of only taken a quarter of that 8mg sub and smaller and smaller everyday, subs are just as addicting as herion and you do not want to be in it like the rest of us
