i feel tight chested, water retention and dizzy since i started taking this antibiottic, is this commom side effects?

Have you consulted your doctor, yet?

Any time you feel chest tightness and are experiencing fluid retention, you should contact your doctor immediately, those can be symptoms of congestive heart failure, which I found out the hard way.

I'm not saying that's definitely what it is, because I'm not a doctor, but you should definitely have it checked out, to be on the safe side.

thank you for your reply. i had blood tests done since i asked the question, found out my cholestrol is perfect, blood pressure perfect, liver and kidneys r good, sugar a bit high am addressing that. no arthiritis in feet, no gout, low throid level taking meds now for that. next lung test and heart test, if all is ok my doctor who suspects anxiety panic disorder possibly may be the cause. i will find out, and my doc. gave me penicillian to take and took me off the other antibiotic which is better now.
