Rhodes/purdue Buprenorphine Hcl 8mg Rp B8 Vs Roxanne 54 411 (Page 24)

Updated
I have made the switch from the 8mg films to 8mg buprenorphine tablets only. With all the research I've done and experience I do my best to stay away from actavis mylan and nowadays sandoz. I noticed everyone has enjoyed the Roxanne now westward generics amongst hi-tech coming in second/mylan. I have no experience with mylan bup and don't want to take the risk even as mylan has always been a waste imo. I'm not a fan of allergan (actavis) taking over watson so depending on the drug dispenses I most stay away. There are as of now 7 manufacturers of generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg (generic subutex). They are in order of my preferred with not much experience except with brand name:
*roxanne (now westward pharma)- 54 411
*hi tech- 8 ^(arrow)
*mylan- M924
*teva (allergen/activas owned) crooked b 799
*actavis- moon 153
*sun pharma- 460 white round
[And the brand new released generic made by Purdue and distributed by Rhodes Pharmaceuticals the new Rhodes generic]
*RP b8- white round bevelled and pretending edges.
I currently have had a smooth switch to the Roxanne/westward and declined mylan, actavis, teva, hi tech, sun pharma as most research and reviews conclude the Roxanne/westward generics the 54 411 seem to be best reviewed. I was unable to find the Purdue/Rhodes pharma newly released generic RB b8 imprinted generic. All I know is Rhodes and Purdue are professionals in the process of making quality meds and not just quality meds but pain relief medication, as they even were the company to CREATE oxycontin. I was able to come across one image of them on the web and they look very similar to the Roxanne 54 411s in size color and mostly shape except for the rhodes/Purdue ones protrude or kind of pop out on each side beyond the bevelled edges. They look really well made and on one side they have RP and otherside b 8 which the b and 8 are fairly far apart. I have been doing great from switching from brand films to the Roxanne westward 54 411s so far. I'm hoping to get some feedback by next month on these newly released rhodes/Purdue generic buprenorphine hcl 8mg. They are the newest and just released October 2017 and look very shinny and quality made. I'm hoping someone here who has tried both the Roxanne/westward and the new Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8 tablets. I am going to try and have my pharmacy special order the new Rhodes generics made by Purdue again imprinted RP b 8 white round shinny tablets fairly similar to the Roxanne but look better quality imo but do not have much experience with generic just brand and am very well versed on pharma companies and their medicine and their quality each one has.
Has anyone tried these new rhodes/Purdue ones imprinted RP b 8? How would you compare them to the Roxanne 54 411 tablets... I hope for a response or it will be trail and error for me when ordering Rhodes next month if i stay on this route and will see how they compare to the Roxanne/westward but will not be til a month away. Please if you have any experience with these generics and especially the new rhodes/Purdue one let me know. Again I was able to locate only one image of them and they look great. They do not look small like hi tech more like a combined Roxanne and mylan with the shininess and how they pop out on each side..they look a little larger like the mylan and Roxanne not small like hi tech or teva or activas they are round tablet imprints RP b8 with b and 8 fairly far apart. Any feedback would be great and I would want to switch to rhodes/Purdue from roxanne (now westward being a factor) generics as they make quality are new just released and approved this year 2017 of October and no one how even mentioned them yet that I can find. With westward buying out Roxanne and them making changes a new generic made by Purdue may be just the one we have been waiting for and needing..again on the 54 411 ones now and looking for feedback on the new Purdue Rhodes ones and if the switch from Roxanne westward to rhodes/Purdue would be better maybe with better quality as they have always been a great and reputable company who makes outstanding drugs. Any feedback would be great.

Re: Goozer (# 692)
Hi again, what do you take for anxiety?! If u can share that would be great!
Also thanks so much for helping me means a lot to me!!
Re: Goozer (# 689)
I'm with you goozer...the old Roxanne looks perfect...and wow another oldie just caught my eye are the old teva, I didn't ever think I'd get another view of those again, it's shameful what these pharmaceutical companies have done to us. I mean as far as starting out back in my day of buprenorphine use 2007 giving me the best and now many years later skimping with ingredients and actually making us hunt like an animal to find our generic of choice,...I mean I did that already with pain pills, got addicted and now I have to hunt for good bup.....you said ask questions..I have one...I have read people say in other medschat groups, that pharmaceutical companies read groups like this to see what people prefer or don't? What do you think? I mean if some really do, how come they don't correct the problem?...and keep a good bup on the market without making a hunt...now I have also read another strange theory...it was in a pain management medschat,....one guy said this opioid crisis is all part of our corrupt government plan to get rid of all the junkies. In general people like me who abused medication. (make them suffer and wipe out) clean up the over populated earth...now I know it might sound crazy but I believe in some of those types of theories.
Re: Vic (# 690)
A lot of people in my research who like the small hi tech 8 arrows like them because they are supposed to be good for IV use blah :/ nasty. But I'm not here to judge just informing
Re: Vic (# 690)
Ok so first off the orange half moons are activas and the feedback and experience is these generics are not so good. Some people like them tho but I would say like 10 percent like the orange activas generics. Bow the arrow 8 one is made by a great company called Hi-Tech Ok Harman. They are good decent little tablets! A lot of people do not like these hi tech subutex tho for someone reason they say the are just not efficient. I have always enjoyed hi tech everything including the arrow logo 8 imprinted bup but it certainly is nornnesr as effective as others. If the Himkas (54 411s) work for you then certainly recommend using what works best for you as everyone is different and reacts to chemicals differently so if you like the hi tech arrows just ask the pharma for hi tech generic and they will order in next day for u if u haven't transferred it is at all. Now for the Rhodes rb b8 tablets yes they are brand name tablets and brand name subutex and would be the exact same feeling as if you took the original brand name subutex tablets as it is identical in every way but shape and imprint. I suppose anxiety certainly could he a side j suffer from anxiety and have medication for it though but yes the Rhodes is identical to brand name subutex making it the most og and is made by pursue who makes quality products but I Can totally understand the anxiety especially without medication but yes Rhodes is brand name subutex in reality. But himkas are decent as well. I would say go for what works best for you brotherm...if you can find the old teva b 8 tablets I advise though but near impossible but w.e to hard to find. Himka is good hi tech is as well but in reality Rhodes is better made like Roxanne once was but everyone is different do what u feel is best and most desired doe yourself.
Re: Goozer (# 687)
Have you tried the m924?! What are they like?
Re: Goozer (# 687)
Goozer so you say the Rhodes RP b8 are the best?!
They were terrible for me terrible! So the arrow and the 8 seemed stronger and I liked that one do u like that as well?! I am going to see my dr pain dr for refills what should I ask for it’s not that easy! I live in Seattle and don’t want the anxiety I have had on rd b8! Terrible and the orange ones worst withdrawal feeling. What to do any advice?! I want what I have always always had the best?!?!! Goozer please your opinion will be mine as I go to my appt tomorrow!!! Thank you everybody this is a great site!! Prayers love and good bups
For everyone wondering if westward/himka is just as good or the same formula as the old OG roxanne 8mg tablets just compare these images and you will see just how huge of a difference was made when we lost Roxanne to many drugs. Below are links to view and compare the OG 54 411 Roxanne and the only and newer 54 411 by west ward and himka. Look and u will see just how much better roxanne manufactured their meds compared to how cheap himka does. Below are the links for the images. The first link is for the old OG Roxanne and the second link is for the new blah himkas. See for yourself and then tell me the himkas are the same as rozanne or as good as Rhodes or og roxanne..I think not lol. I wish tho because when roxanne was around they made their 54 411 even better than rhodes does and that is saying a lot I sure miss Roxanne they cared about quality on all their products.
Roxanne 8mg sublingual subutex generic tablet ( no longer made :(
https://images.app.goo.gl/6YVmdxKrrJ33huaDA the best generic subs ever made sad they are gone...and their replacements below blaah
Westward/ Himka 8mg sublingual tablet available to us now:

Now you guys tell me they are the same...I think not but sure wish so.. RIP Roxanne I will forever miss your quality products.
Anyways this is for you guys to compare. Because himkas 54 411s are not even close or comparable to the 54 411 by roxanne unfortunately. Now Rhodes is best made it is identical is identical to brand name subutex so it's confusing when people say they don't like rhodes.. it's like saying you don't like and hate the brand name subutex since Rhodes is identical to brand name. .strange but everyone is different anyways I can post the active and inactive ingredients for the Roxanne 54 411s and the himka 54 411s for y'all if needed and the ingredients are far from what Roxanne made with. Hope this helps anyone curious about himkas being the same as the old Roxanne cuz they are not just compare with the links provided and let me know what image u think is himka and what one u think was roxanne. God bless love u all and remember...rhodes is identical to the banned brand name subutex just look up the active and inactive ingredients. God bless the healthy stay strong my fam love y'all hope this helps someone and if u dont need it at least look at the huge differences in the images...they are far far from what they used to be when roxanne was rocking it.
Re: Vic (# 684)
No the formula has since changed. If you research the old Roxanne tablets vic and their images compared to westward and himka you can tell a huge noticable difference in the quality of the tablets. The old Roxanne where imprinted very nicely and deboosed outwards on both sides they were hard and not chalky and they were very very shiny where as himka image you can tell just how difference they are. They lake the shines of the tablet they are chalky and sometime imprints are not debossed so yes the formula has changed. You can look up on their sites for the active and inactive ingredients . I will try and post links for the differences. The only thing that is the same with old Roxanne and new indian made himkas is their 54 411 imprints but everything else is very different. All it takes is a side by side image comparison of Roxanne 8mg tablet and a himka 8mg tablet. Get these two images side by side and you will see the differences yourself but again everyone is different I prefer Rhodes as it is identical to brand name subutex in active and inactive ingredients making Rhodes pretty much the same and identical to brand name subutex. So rhodes is honestly brand name as it has all the same ingredients as brand name does this info you can find as well. It has the same active and inactive ingredients as the now unapproved in US hrand name subutex so Rhodes is the best alas it is brand name but I take himka sometimes too but himka is not at all near the quality and well made old Roxanne. Roxanne was one of the best generic companies it was hard to see them go and himka keeps Roxanne imprints but has their own formula that is not how Roxanne formula was at all. Side by side the two tablets images you will see what I mean
Re: Davidjw1 (# 685)
Thanks David I greatly appreciate it and pray for u all and our health. I have both 54 411 by himka and when Rhodes was out of stock I was easily able to obtain the himka so maybe they were out of stock in a few states but not mine. I prefer rhoded as to me it is 2x at least stronger than himka and is made in the US where himka is not but I switch to himka sometimes and sometimes notice a difference and sometimes dont everyone is different but when it comes to facts..rhodes is manufactured and made much better than himkas are but they are the top 2 generics out now and brand is not available to us. I'm on a search for the old tevas (which yes they still make em) but that has been a hard task but Rhodes is the best made that's a fact whether himka works better or not rhoded is the best made generic of sublingual made bup tablets
Re: Davidjw1 (# 685)
Thank you David, for taking the time to answer my question! I have been on the subutex since 2012! It was good at the time now I am addicted to bups! Take care and thanks again!!
Re: Vic (# 684)
Hi Vic, I get the Hikma 54 411 from CVS and a compounding pharmacy for the past year and a half. There was a break in July but lucked out with CVS having the 54 411. The last 2+ years have tried 5 other generics including the Rhodes RP B8 that many people prefer. However we all are physically different and the 54 411 from Hikma are my preference too. I haven't noticed any difference from when they were from Roxanne then Westward/ Hikma and now Hikma. Good luck. Goozer is a good go to guy.
Hi Goozer,
Is the 54/411 the same formula as it has always been from day one. Roxanne then westward just hoping it is the same! It’s been hell on wheels to get the bups I am used to! The orange ones terrible the RP b8 terrible:! So I called cvs and they only carry the 54/411, I am praying that they are the good ones right from the start! Thank you and you are the go to! Thanks again! The anxiety I have had from the two I mentioned are bad the worst:(. The hi tech the arrow they are good too. I originally went thru sams club they closed then went to Walmart for awhile great then they had nothing in at all! Bartells good then the last two times bad, side effects. It’s not right to play w these genetics I say keep the best! They want the cheap stuff whatever comes in, I can’t order what I like! I look forward to your expertise experience!
Re: Davidjw1 (# 680)
Old stop signs are not generic especially during those years. This would have been the brand name tablets of suboxone when they were still allowed in the states they were good but were not subutex those stop signs are brand suboxone
Re: Sinner85 (# 681)
Mos def..they certainly could if they had pulled you over. That is one of the many pharma errors that happen these days and people have gotten in trouble for this
Hello everybody...I’ve recently had an experience and wanted to share it in hopes that it can help someone else prevent what has happened to me. The moral of this post is “check your prescriptions before you walk away from the counter.” I’m sure all of you veterans on here know this. Long story short because of the shortage I had to transfer my script to another pharmacy. I prefer Himka, then Rhodes then hi tech. We all know the pains of when it’s refill time making sure the lady at the counter orders from the right manufacturer. She said yes, I can order the Hikma brand and it will be here tomorrow. My job requires me to leave out of town for 2 weeks at a time so my wife had to pick up my meds and meet me half way. When I opened the bag by the size of the bag i immediately knew they were hi tech and not hikma. Although the prescription label said hikma the pills were hi tech. This was the 2nd day of my 2 week hitch I was in no position to refuse the pills, even if I did they had already been walked out of the pharmacy so I was stuck with them. I can’t expect my wife to learn all the different generics and inspect the script before leaving, which now said she would. So when I got back home 2 weeks later I went into the pharmacy with my prescription bottle I talked to the pharmacist and told him what happened and after looking at the pills and staring at his computer he said “sir your right this won’t happen again”. Now I’m no expert but I’m willing to bet money that it’s illegal to falsely label medication. What if I got pulled over by authorities and they looked at my script and seen that the pills in the bottle did not match the label?? Or what if they gave me activas instead of hi tech?? So please check your script before leaving the counter.
Re: Charlene (# 677)
Hi Charlene it was a generic of Subutex. And it was very good. I got them in 2007. My Dr refers to them too, as the old stop signs due to the shape. They were orange and tasted like a green orange peel. Sorry for any misunderstanding

Re: Charlene (# 677)
He's talking about activis brand Buprenorphine. It's an orange flavor for some reason and it's got a half Moon symbol on the pill. There is a newer generic Suboxone made by mallinckrodt Pharmacuticals that looks almost exactly like the old brand name Suboxone except instead of a cross on one side there is a M and on the other is a N8 or N2. Those are probably the worst Suboxone generic I've ever been unfortunate enough to have taken in a pinch.
